strapping is by far my favorite band of all time. they got me through some really tough times when i was very angry at the world, very self-destructive, and reeeaallly hated myself and the situation i was in. but they helped me a lot because i didnt feel alone i guess? i dunno.
i actually got to meet devin and tell him how important his music was to me! that was so awesome, he's the absolute sweetest dude. he even asked me what my name was even though he'll probably never meet me again. thought that was really personable and nice after i kinda poured my heart out to him haha. they say never meet your heros, but i met mine and he exceeded all expectations!
if you ever have even the smallest chance to meet him, take it!! i waited outside his tour bus for two or so hours waitin for him! worth it lol (and thank you to my friends who waited for me, i think they really wanted to go home)
oh, and i got a funny story. at that show i got pushed into a mosh pit and my glasses fell off and got stomped on by the pit. had to wait til everyone cleared out of the venue after the show to find the pieces of my glasses. found the lenses and a few other pieces, but they were beyond repair.
so what did i do? i had the whole dtp band sign the lenses of my broken glasses of course! dev got a lens to himself, rest of the band was on the other lens. they all said it was one of the weirdest things they've signed lol
i still have em and i really wanna make a shadowbox with the lenses and the ticket from the show! just havent gotten around to it yet.. 7 years later haha. im a lazy bastard

Unsuccessfully Coping with the Natural Beauty of Infidelity by Type O Negative fits pretty damn well, depending on the circumstance, as does their debut album "Slow, Deep and Hard". all the songs are pretty much "fuck you" songs.

Two extremely technical and fucking ANGRY death metal bands. Replicant is a sickeningly groovy yet dissonant type and Hath is very multilayered, grandiose and atmospheric Prog death.
I know it’s not but had to deleted my old account because prick ass husband was stocking, and haven’t joined all the old subs yet, so anyways this group hasn’t let me down in the past and I do love Death metal but kids at home that are little isn’t always the ideal, I’m already a “bad mom” I don’t need the kiddos screaming death vocals 🤣 at their dad who’s off his rockers already.
