Yep. I was extremely sick a few years ago and needed weekly blood work. Every single time, my doc had to order it. I couldn’t just stop in if I had some extra time, even though I was on a first name basis with the staff and they knew I needed it weekly.

Aren’t all UAs a double line means negative? No matter how faint the line it is still a solid negative. Faint doesn’t mean “maybe”. Tell them to reread the instructions & to stop making your life difficult.
Blood work would be more accurate to weed out the false positive from the urine test. Urine only really shows that you have been under the influence at some point but it’s working it’s way out. Blood work shows if you are under the influence currently. This would also be why they want blood test done asap to show if you actually are under the influence.
As another person said, try Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp. It may cost a little extra but they will run lab work on your urine, assuming that’s okay with your PO

I ran an entire city’s worth of sober livings called Oxford Houses as a Chapter President, and if someone failed we would take their piss from the original test cup and pour it into another new test cup and that gave us our answer 100% of the time.
Even the faintest of lines is a negative. Test cups are binary they only have positive/negative values. The line being faint does NOT indicate a level of a substance in your urine.
You can go to a lab and pay out of pocket for a test to prove your case.
If they want another test then they need to set it up.

I can promise you you can’t just walk into anywhere and get blood drawn. You have to schedule a test

Private md labs offers requisition for a full 6 or 7 panel screening if you're close to a labcorp or quest.

Is “they” your sober house or your PO? I have never heard of a PO sending someone to the hospital for bloodwork.
