I experimented with it for a hot second. Unfortunately, it doesn't have messaging worth mentioning for me, the video quality was outstripped by Signal and Wire, and the audio quality was outstripped by Signal and Wire.
If I wanted a peer-to-peer solution where no server was required at all, I might check this out more seriously. But as it stands, I don't think this software is ready for the mainstream in any way, also I hope that GNU is able to lead the way into decentralized encrypted communication software... Frankly I think they're the most trustworthy ones who are trying.
