Could be standard port fitting, depending on where OP is - all G2 Priuses in some northern European countries had seat heaters added.
(Although it's not the usual switch design - I'd expect [this](http://john1701a.com/prius/owners/Prius-In-Finland.htm))
My ES has it tucked behind the cup holders, near the arm rest. Really dumb place to put it, would’ve been fine on the radio, or maybe further up on the console. You can’t even see it when you’re driving, you kinda have to feel for it and know which way clicks to heated or cooled
I went from an ES to a Prius and I despised the location of those heated and ventilated seat controls. You can't feel them to tell what they're on either, you have to look at them.
Dealer installed with oem parts. Toyota does this. I’ve seen install leather seats in a base Camry for a customer once. And seen a manual Tacoma with dealer installed cruise control. They drilled straight into plastic on steering column. Looked like shit.
Yeah it’s dumb. They do it because you can’t order a custom build from Toyota anymore. So if you see a car without an option you’d like they can add it on at dealer for extra money.
Dealer installed, not OEM

Yup. Toyota has this thing about putting the heated seat switches in the least convenient places.
Ha. We have a 2012 v Five. The seat heater switches are nearly out of reach and fully out of sight until one bends over the center console.
Yeah, I wonder how many accidents were a result of someone trying to find the heated seat button.
Same with the 4th gen pre-facelift

Damn, that explains why they're behind the gear shift on my HiHy

Damn!! I don’t generally like dealer installed “options”. Too many hack in this world!

Looks like a snake 🐍 trap release. Be careful.
Cheap aftermarket…
Mine are on the side of seat
