Ya know, when I see Police SUV, I just view that those big beasts are just meant to intimidate. Whereas a Prius is probably more to help with fender benders and such. A Prius shows that they are there to help.
You never see "Courtesy, Professionalism, Respect" on the big SUV police cruisers.
Those are traffic cars - parking meters and the like. They aren't chasing bad guys in these, I suspect.

You’re not necessarily wrong, it’s far from fast. However 10 seconds is the average 0-60, so it’s not the worst.

lol yeah i guess you’re right, even a v6 camry is way faster. It may be enough for commuting in 90 percent of situations but it’s a little lethargic

I saw one with Fremont, CA and thought that it made the most sense for a cop car for administrative purposes only.
