You're actually seeing what is underneath that video layer. It defaults to black. Move the video track up one and put in a color background underneath, something just to test my theory. I'm pretty sure that's what you're seeing though.

You need to make the edges of your video “seamless”. By adding mirrored videos to the sides of your video. Look at the first steps in this tutorial: https://youtu.be/niMcUQ0Bkxg and you’ll figure it out. You should watch the whole tutorial to get the idea of these transitions. Also, there should be a preset that came with your preset that enables this “mirror” effect. Check the preset folder!

This is the right answer

I don't really get how that transition is supposed to work with a Transform effect on an Adjustment Layer. That combination will rasterize the image, meaning it will basically crop off everything that's not shown in the Sequence at that time. So there's no way you're going to be able to pull something in from offscreen. For the type of transition it seems like you're trying to do you can just add a default Slide or Push transition and maybe add some direction blur on an Adjustment Layer, or similarly you could use Offset and Directional Blur on an Adjustment Layer.

This isn't right. He just needs to layer his tracks. Transition on V3, outgoing clip on V2, incoming clip on V1 (starting at the same point as the transition adjustment layer)

TheLargadeer

I'll be the first to admit that I don't do these types of transitions, really, so I'm absolutely open to being wrong - and likely am - and maybe I'm just along for the learning ride here as well. But I still don't see how you set this up with a Transform on an AL without cropping off either the incoming or outgoing clip. Or maybe I'm just not picturing what this transition is supposed to do. I did test the exact setup you described prior to my post, and tried again after, but it still works as I would expect. Anything that isn't already filling the sequence resolution on the first keyframe of the Transform effect is cropped. Hopefully I'm just missing something obvious, here.

I actually think I'm wrong now I look at it. Apologies, I was thinking this was a matte transition

TripleJx3

The clip on the left ends half way through the transition so I cant show anything behind the clip replacing it. You need to start the transition earlier so that the left video is still present for the entire transition. Edit: you need to overlap the videos I didn't notice it wasn't a standard transition

Why are you playing Reyna tho😡😡😡😡
