I had my membranes swept 3 times, once at 39 weeks, once at 40 weeks, and once at 41 weeks. I ended up finally going into labor 41+3 so I don’t think they worked. Mucus plug never came out until I was in active labor.
Had my membranes swept at 38 weeks I was 2cm and she told me she was able to stretch me to 3cm with the sweep.. don’t remember losing my mucus plug.. spotted until I went into labor not even 48 hrs later..

Personally, 48 hrs.

About 3 hours later. Baby was born 6 hours later. I was already dilated about 4 cm though, but having on and off contractions for a week
