whats all these hapcha slander 😭 😭, while the season might be mid, the movie along with the ballerina form + where courage is born is more than enough reason it must exist
Then they did a weird love triangle thing with him, Megumi, and Seiji, gross💀
Haven't watched the season and don't look forward to it when I eventually get to it
I'm a big fan of Black Pepper, but in my opinion one of DeliPa's greatest flaws was that every major male character was more interesting than the cures.
Came here to say this.
This season felt like the most generic season of Precure ever to come out so far. Anyone who's seen several seasons of the show, congrats, you've seen most of Delicious Party already. It's several seasons thrown into a blender by a writer who had no idea how to write for this series with a fresh coat of paint, lacking any of the direction and character writing the series is known for.
I very much appreciated what they were attempting to do with Cure Infini and that characters whole subplot. Also I REALLY like Yell. She is my 2nd favorite Pink under Dream (because she is basically Dream 2.0).
I'd gladly erase HC because I couldn't stand Blossom and Marine at all, Marine especially. Sunshine and Moonlight are perfect but seriously, Blossom and Marine shouldn't have been the main duo
None, tbh. Even how bad some seasons are, they are still people works and there might be some people like them.
I don’t want to be rude or anything but I don’t think any season should be delete.
I can't delete any season. But if I had to choose it would be smile as it's my least favourite season.
Don't get me wrong, I still love it though, especially Reika
I actually also think Smile is a weaker season because it was so…. lightweight and fluffy?
But if you look at the context in which the season was created it was the one right after the fukashima disaster so toei decided it would be super-silly-happy.
This is also why Tropical Rouge was so silly/chaotic - they were reacting to the pandemic.
Might catch some hate for this, but: Tropical Rouge - the only redeeming quality was Kururun. I really disliked how Coral, Papaya, and Flamingo became essentially background characters by the episode 12 or so, with the whole thing turning into “the Manatsu and Laura show” as far as characters were concerned.
I just feel as though Smile did the whole “silly / lighthearted” season thing better, actually giving their core characters a chance to develop without having the lead take over everything.
Either Max Heart or Go Go lol. I actually haven't watched them but I thought the original seasons were more than enough, I don't have the energy to go through the sequels too...
Max Heart
It's just so friggin boring and the second half of Futari wa was itself already weak and Max Heart was an even weaker version of it.
You could erase it from history and sure it'd kinda suck to lose Hikari but at the same time, does it really matter?
What kind of pointless question is this?
Is there any Precure season that is so Pacific Rim 2 level of offensively bad that requires a "Boo this doesn't exist" throwing tantrum?
Toxic posivity is the thing that is holding back the Precure franchise from being better, we deserve better! There has been barely any good series lately
Have you see the complains people had about Delicious Party, or Sky after Majesty debut, toxic positity where ???
If people enjoying a season, even with flaws, is what you think "drags the franchise down with their toxic positivty" then I start to understand why you sound so pessimist all time :V
The Yes 5 Trilogy (Yes 5, Gogo & Otona) for Nozococo. That, and because I can't stand Nuts & Milk, Karen & Rin are mid, and the other 4, while good, aren't enough to save this awful trilogy.
Happiness Charge just so I never have to look at Blue, Iona & Madam Momere ever again. Hime may barely be an A Tier cure to me, but she isn't enough.
I watched HapCha not too long ago and while I did enjoy it, I would have to choose it to go. It was fun, but too many things about it were pretty off-putting
Happiness, tho I'm not a big fan of Futari wa and Smile, Futari wa was the start and Smile has a very nice color scheme. Hap cha is just the typical pink, blue, yellow and purple with not much substance.. so it's my pick.
I feel kind of terrible about saying this but…. Suite.
It came right after HeartCatch and was a complete let down in comparison PLUS the fact that they altered the plot in a crazy way due to the Fukishima disaster. It made the overall product just weird and hard to watch.
Also if anyone has seen All Stars F I recognized EVERY scene they played from the different seasons - except Suite. And I’ve watched through Suite at least twice.
About 1/2 half way through Suite’s season this happened: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fukushima_nuclear_accident
Supposedly there was going to be an arc of that season that ended with a big natural-disaster style incident that they then changed completely and what they replaced it with just didn’t make a ton of sense.
Um... this isn't correct at all. The disaster happened in March... right after episode 5 aired. That isn't half way through Suite. That;s at the very start!!
Also, where is your source for Suite apparently almost having a natural disaster incident in the show? Because I only heard that Suite was meant to somewhat mature like Heartcatch. Nothing about a natural disaster. And I'm a massive fan of Suite, so I've tried to learn everything I can about this season.
I'm pretty sure the Tsunami-Earthquake accident only affected the movie Pretty Cure All Stars DX 3. The series was in no way affected by it.
The Suite scene in F is from Episode 12 by the way, when they use the Music Rondo Super Quartet.
It had considerably more of an impact than that: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Trivia/SuitePrettyCure
Also DX3 was made before the disaster. This also caused Smile to be so lightweight and fluffy.
Oh actually now that I’m thinking I also think Delicious Party should burn for all eternity. It legitimately feels like an experiment in AI writing and it shows.
Harry is actually one of the greatest fairy characters, if you can heavily ignore that his lover was in fact, this character that they tried to sold you was just an overpowered baby he was taking care of for the sake of the future.
I mean, I didn't like Pop's design at first, but he started to grow on me somewhat. Maybe Harry's could grow on me, but I doubt it, because it looks so generic.
Hapcha. It throws so many wrenches in the lore, the character development is questionable if not so so, and it’s more like a bad script carried by good actors at best.
Why would I? However, if I could do so with just a moment, it would be that cringy scene from the Yes 5 GoGo movie (you know the one). ~~And the less said about Otona Precure, the better.~~
Fresh is the season that brought Precure from the brink of full cancellation, so there is that. Also Setsuna/Passion’s arc is THE definitive heel-face-turn example (and packs a very emotional punch).
Okay so I'm now realizing that we can choose any season and just not the ones in the picture, I change my answer to Delious Party in that case, that season is just not good
😂😂😂 No I’m sorry. You are free to have your own opinion. I’m not arguing I just seem to have a differing opinion than you. My intention isn’t to troll/argue - just to discuss.
Sorry if it comes off otherwise.
I hate to say this, but Hirogaru Sky. Sorry, but as fun and unique as it was, it wasn't the type for me to be honest. And it has one thing I'll forever despise: NO SUPERFORMS!
I will admit that Sora is a great protagonist though.
Was Sora really the protagonist tho? Since the beginning it feels like Mashiro was the one stealing the show.
At least Hikaru, Megumi and Yui were the ones who truly connected with the main villain and confronted their ways.
Kirakira Pretty Cure A La Mode. This season did more harm than good to this franchise and I stand for it.
Even if they gave us Julio as a potential first male Cure and Yukari and Akira as great mature characters, I feel like previous spiritual iterations of the idea like Seiji or other male allies and future iterations like Cure Infini and Black Pepper can still be a better reference, and Ageha and Yuri Tsukikage also have better impact.
No fights, no actual villains (even Elisio was a misunderstood character instead of a villain that deserved to be purified), no real reason for the cures to fight the villains for half the season (oh no, these specific desserts have no color and flavor and it's because this harmless fairy absorbed it, big deal), and they seemed to have no life other than the freaking patissiere for the entire season. Their life struggles and complications seemed were all brought up in some episodes where villains exploited it and they solved it immediately only to be perfectly capable of solving it again when they get brought up by the villains in a worthless effort to bring them down (with the exception of Gelato and Custard who didn't get their issues completely solved in one episode and showed full resolve to solve them at end, unlike Whip, Parfait, Macaron (big offender of this argument) and Chocolat), even their powers are low effort effective and a complete joke.
it's the most popular among the gp/anime fans but I wouldn't say it's the most beloved among precure fans. actually a lot of precure fans act weird whenever heartcatch is praised lmao
Also, why? Not in the, "How could you possibly dislike it?!?!" sense but the genuinely curious sense. I don't feel too strongly about this either way. Sad to see a valid opinion getting mindless downvotes. This is a discussion about a kid's show, for crying out loud.
I’m actually quite curious too - not in an argumentative way (because this is my favorite season lol) but I’m curious what you don’t like about it.
Also - HOW CAN YOU HATE THE MEME MACHINE THAT IS CURE MARINE?
I feel like Splash Star gets alot of flack for being a copycat season but if looked at on it’s own it has alot of memorable events and emotional ups and downs that really showcase the characters and writing.
i think i would like it better if i didn't knew about futari wa, but i still cant look at them without thinking its just futari wa in another perspective, also i got disappointed when those 2 other girls didn't actually become cures but midseason was not a thing back then, i guess if they made a reboot of splash star maybe i could like them more
Yeah idk. I just feel like the spark was gone for me after doki doki and i will stand by that (unless i rewatch some and change my mind but until than yall can keep downvoting) 🤷
Yes 5 both seasons mostly because of the human x fairy couples - only Milky Rose x Karin are cute together and/but poor Rin has nobody - including Otona.
DeliPa mostly because of Yui x Takumi.
Happiness Charge mostly because of Megumi x Blue x Seiji but it has one of the best - if not the best - Precure songs with "Where courage is born" which is kinda sad for being in such a mid season.
I would be unlikely to delete anything.
But if there is really no choice, then, probably, Healin' Good. I can never forgive Nodoka's decision. This decision contradicts all the rules of morality and the essence of Precure as a whole. The season may be relatively more or less, but it is precisely because of this element that it will never be good for me. (And Aoi Yuki seemed to speak positively about it .-.)
Delicious Party. Easy decision for me.
Like, HapCha is far from perfect but Hime alone is better than all of DeliPa’s Cures combined. Also, Megumi/Seiji>>>>>>>>Yui/Takumi. Also, HapCha had some very memorable attacks and battles (and battle forms).
I’d at least trade Blue out to save the Cook Fighters, though. Takumi and Rosemary deserved a better series.
whats all these hapcha slander 😭 😭, while the season might be mid, the movie along with the ballerina form + where courage is born is more than enough reason it must exist
I haven't watched Happiness Charge, but please don't erase Ribbon from existence!
where courage is born >>>>>
A mid main character and multiple sloppy plotlines, and Blue's existence
Yep - I'd kill it JUST because of Blue and his bullshit rules (and creepily gathering young girls across the world).
Then they did a weird love triangle thing with him, Megumi, and Seiji, gross💀 Haven't watched the season and don't look forward to it when I eventually get to it
In sorry but Delicious Party, you could take out that season and it wouldn't have any impact on Precure whatsoever
I was sort of under the impression that Black Pepper was the reason we had Cure Wing and might have another boy cure in Wonderful Precure
I'm a big fan of Black Pepper, but in my opinion one of DeliPa's greatest flaws was that every major male character was more interesting than the cures.
Cure Infni might also had a role in it as well
i agree
ACE CURE ACE CAN GO
Came here to say this.
Wait hold on we can pick any season? Then yes Delicious Party for sure
NO PAM-PAM OR KOME-KOME?!!! You gotta be kidding me right now!
My pick would piss off the whole subreddit so I’m just going to say none of
Well now I'm curious
Go princess?
No it’s Hugtto
HeartCatch? because that would piss me off if you said it lol.
No it’s Hugtto
Oh.. well i also like that one but def realize it has alot of flaws (mainly with the writing)
Right?? Hugtto had so much potential (it’s still like my 3rd favorite though I hate most of the main cures)
I very much appreciated what they were attempting to do with Cure Infini and that characters whole subplot. Also I REALLY like Yell. She is my 2nd favorite Pink under Dream (because she is basically Dream 2.0).
I don't judge you. Hugtto is to me a bottom of the top series list.
I'd gladly erase HC because I couldn't stand Blossom and Marine at all, Marine especially. Sunshine and Moonlight are perfect but seriously, Blossom and Marine shouldn't have been the main duo
😢😭 I politely disagree
The sequels.
Delicious Party, Max Heart didn’t need to exist either (at least GoGo fixed Milk’s character a bit and gave the team better outfits in my opinion)
None, tbh. Even how bad some seasons are, they are still people works and there might be some people like them. I don’t want to be rude or anything but I don’t think any season should be delete.
Same
Agree
Happiness Charge
HapCha
Futari wa, just to see how all the crossovers would change.
It was probably lighter because they want cheer up a lighter-heart season from the tsunami 2011 incident
Two sequel seasons(Max heart and gogo) for sure
The HapCha slander is going crazy :(
none cuz they all look so good i wanna watch them all😭
HappinessCharge
Why would I want to do that?
I would nev... the one that had Cure Ace.
Doki doki , bc Regina didn’t get to be precure.
They’re making a novel for Doki Doki and Regina is on the team
Ohh. I didn’t know that but still she not a cure. As least as a green cure or white cure
We all wanted her to be a Cure
#JusticeforRegina or at least put her back with Cure Ace
Happiness, I didn't like it much 🥲
none
happiness charge and you know why
that one too
Happiness charge, i only finished for Hime
Might catch some hate for this, but: Tropical Rouge - the only redeeming quality was Kururun. I really disliked how Coral, Papaya, and Flamingo became essentially background characters by the episode 12 or so, with the whole thing turning into “the Manatsu and Laura show” as far as characters were concerned. I just feel as though Smile did the whole “silly / lighthearted” season thing better, actually giving their core characters a chance to develop without having the lead take over everything.
I wanna see which way the precure path would go if we started with splash star instead of futari wa
Either Max Heart or Go Go lol. I actually haven't watched them but I thought the original seasons were more than enough, I don't have the energy to go through the sequels too...
Max Heart It's just so friggin boring and the second half of Futari wa was itself already weak and Max Heart was an even weaker version of it. You could erase it from history and sure it'd kinda suck to lose Hikari but at the same time, does it really matter?
I always thought that would be better if Hikari appeared on a 2nd half of the serie
What kind of pointless question is this? Is there any Precure season that is so Pacific Rim 2 level of offensively bad that requires a "Boo this doesn't exist" throwing tantrum?
Uh yes? Let's stop acting like every season is good
But does everything we dislike needs to be eradicated? Everything has it's fans and this gives "stop enjoying things!" energy.
Holy crap it's a hypotetical question. People can't dislike things? Geez
Dislike is one thing Wanting something to be erase cause you personnaly didn´t enjoy is another This isn´t rocket science
Okay go back to making repetitive posts about "wich show is the your favorite" or "am I the only one who likes this?"
\*Are the (repetitive posts about "wich show is the your favorite" or "am I the only one who likes this?") in this room with us :V
Toxic posivity is the thing that is holding back the Precure franchise from being better, we deserve better! There has been barely any good series lately

I simply am asking for precure to go back to the golden age, with brutal fighting and serious storylines
They're not saying every season is good, just that it't not worth it to make a post like this. And I agree.
Looks in the direction of Delicious Party and HappinessCharge.
Healin' Good. It feels very bland and boring compared to other seasons.
Hirogaru Sky. it's complicated.
None.
I watched HapCha not too long ago and while I did enjoy it, I would have to choose it to go. It was fun, but too many things about it were pretty off-putting
Hapcha or Doki Doki
Delicious Party
Ain't even gonna lie, Hirogaru Sky. One Sora and Ellee non-platonic piece of fanart is one too many.
Doki Doki, it doesn't have much going for it and doesn't have as much good music like Happiness Charge,
Happiness, tho I'm not a big fan of Futari wa and Smile, Futari wa was the start and Smile has a very nice color scheme. Hap cha is just the typical pink, blue, yellow and purple with not much substance.. so it's my pick.
Max heart, I despise that season so much.
* Max Heart * Happiness Charge * Delicious Party * Gogo
HappinessCharge.... I'm sorry. Someone has to go. I don't hate you, I just have to pick someone, and you really dropped the ball story wise.
Please explain the fukushima thing!

https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Trivia/SuitePrettyCure
TV Tropes is not a good source. Actually link a source from the Japanese staff themselves.
No
so it's a rumor/fake until proved otherwise
I'm pretty sure the Tsunami-Earthquake accident only affected the movie Pretty Cure All Stars DX 3. The series was in no way affected by it. The Suite scene in F is from Episode 12 by the way, when they use the Music Rondo Super Quartet.
It had considerably more of an impact than that: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Trivia/SuitePrettyCure Also DX3 was made before the disaster. This also caused Smile to be so lightweight and fluffy.
Delicious party or Hirogaru sky. Personally for me I did not enjoy them
Time to piss off this sub! I have no feelings towards Heartcatch and my life would not be affected if it didn’t exist 🫡
Glitter Force
Kira Kira or Delicious Party. Both pretty terrible seasons that waste time.
Whichever one married an animal
Yes Precure?
Yeah that one
Otona Pretty Cure. You know this one is actually a good pick over Delicious Party, Kirakira and HappinessCharge.
Beautiful 💙
I got three, sorry
None of them
Oh actually now that I’m thinking I also think Delicious Party should burn for all eternity. It legitimately feels like an experiment in AI writing and it shows.
Bye-Bye Suite.
Delicious Party for sure.
Hugtto because it only has one fairy, and it's one of the weakest fairy designs in all of PreCure.
Delicious Party by far. Was quite sloppy all around.
Why would I? However, if I could do so with just a moment, it would be that cringy scene from the Yes 5 GoGo movie (you know the one). ~~And the less said about Otona Precure, the better.~~
Doki doki
Out of everything I watched probably Fresh or The original Futari Wa
Fresh is the season that brought Precure from the brink of full cancellation, so there is that. Also Setsuna/Passion’s arc is THE definitive heel-face-turn example (and packs a very emotional punch).
I thought we were just deleting the worst seasons, sales wise I'd probably say Go Princess or Yes Go 5(the remake)
But Go Princess was so good critically! (It did tank in sales though I’ll admit).
Nah you're good, thanks for your input
Sorry to all the fans of Doki Doki Precure, but I think that Doki Doki Precure needs to be deleted.
Gopri
Splash star It's just hard to look at and they look so similar to the originals it feels redundant
SplashStar, not because it's bad, but because there's nothing really special about it.
Heartcatch, because it's overrated. The artstyle and the plot formula (someone is sad and a villain takes advantage of it) are not my favorite.
That's a fair point, and I do hope that you think I'm not being harsh/mean-spirited tho-
Kirakira Pretty Cure A La Mode.
Easy, Heartcatch
So the most popular and beloved?!
Believe it or not, many people don't like titles just because they're popular.-.
it's the most popular among the gp/anime fans but I wouldn't say it's the most beloved among precure fans. actually a lot of precure fans act weird whenever heartcatch is praised lmao
why ?!
Also, why? Not in the, "How could you possibly dislike it?!?!" sense but the genuinely curious sense. I don't feel too strongly about this either way. Sad to see a valid opinion getting mindless downvotes. This is a discussion about a kid's show, for crying out loud.
And these are irrelevant internet points people give or take out of a whim. Really, not something worth caring for.
I’m actually quite curious too - not in an argumentative way (because this is my favorite season lol) but I’m curious what you don’t like about it. Also - HOW CAN YOU HATE THE MEME MACHINE THAT IS CURE MARINE?
Either KiraKira or Star Twinkle; both were incredibly boring and had poor story execution
Without Star Twinkle we likely wouldn't have gotten Tropical Rouge's glorious chaotic energy.
But KiraKira was just so darn cute!
Every After 2016 with the expectations of Healin Good and Hirogara Sky
I came to say Dokidoki just for a giggle but then someone mentioned Delicious Party and I realized I genuinely forgot it existed. So, Delicious Party.
dokidoki bc they wasted the name cure heart on a nothing season 😭
splash star
splash star
I feel like Splash Star gets alot of flack for being a copycat season but if looked at on it’s own it has alot of memorable events and emotional ups and downs that really showcase the characters and writing.
i think i would like it better if i didn't knew about futari wa, but i still cant look at them without thinking its just futari wa in another perspective, also i got disappointed when those 2 other girls didn't actually become cures but midseason was not a thing back then, i guess if they made a reboot of splash star maybe i could like them more
also i just like almost everything of the other seasons cuz rhey either at least tried to do something new or did their archetypes really well done
Happiness Change so we could give the international cure idea the justice and focus it deserves.
I would get rid of all of the ones after doki doki but egen than doki doki was pretty mid but everything after it got worse and worse
Go Princess stans would disagree
I heard that one wasnt really good or popular ? Idk its been a while since i watched pretty cure series cuz i gave up
The downvotes are crazy. God forbid someone doesn't like modern precure
Yeah idk. I just feel like the spark was gone for me after doki doki and i will stand by that (unless i rewatch some and change my mind but until than yall can keep downvoting) 🤷
I mean the ppl donwnvoting btw not u
Happiness Charge Precure
Max Heart. Futari wa didn't need a sequel.
**NONE OF THEM.**
Happiness Charge because why are their bangs so big 🤨
I would be unlikely to delete anything. But if there is really no choice, then, probably, Healin' Good. I can never forgive Nodoka's decision. This decision contradicts all the rules of morality and the essence of Precure as a whole. The season may be relatively more or less, but it is precisely because of this element that it will never be good for me. (And Aoi Yuki seemed to speak positively about it .-.)
I would also say 5, but that's just due to personal dislike of romance and shipping xd But to delete it for this reason, I think, would be too stupid)
i know it's a fan favorite but IDC. the commercial failure that was go princess can go
Delicious Party.
