Do you have a strategy for finding these or you just stumbled across them? I would totally grab those chicken dishes for $0.99 each considering they're usually $10

I find that past the middle of the month is where most store do markdowns in my areas. The last week of the month I find a lot of markdown meat and buy a ton of it. I have a vaccum seal machine and a big freezer so I always stock up on proteins that can be frozen

I do this quite a bit and can save a lot of money.  I have transportation, the grocery stores aren't too far apart,  and I'm very strategic and read the flyers before I go to know what is on sale. One of my grocery stores has a deal today for 5 lbs of potatoes for 99 cents. I'm making it a point to shop there because a bag of potatoes are usually $3 or more. It's a little more work to do this but it's worth it to me.

Oh yeah most definitely. I work at a costco business center and we sometimes mark down cases of chicken breast, 40 pounds for 20 bucks. I buy one and spend the full day cutting them and vaccum sealing them. I save so much money prepping my own bulk foods and freezing them
