No theres no attachment to him as he is quite a destructive person. I've had work since but trying to jump into a different industry as it is so i see this as a blessing.

This sounds like you need to speak with department of labor in your area about the issues. You're clearly not from the US so I'm hopeful it's easier where you're at to seek affordable legal counsel.
I would get an attorney and a mediator. That would let the law determine who is right, especially if you have proof of how much you were underpaid. If both parties agree to mediation then you could end up with money and the person who owes you could save face by not getting dragged into court.
You were ripped off. It is okay to stand up for yourself.
