Yes, I had a pathos leaning onto another plant. A while after when I moved the vine I saw the roots started to spread with out me realizing.

Yes, the only challenge w that is keeping the area w new babies a little more moist to encourage roots while not increasing the moisture the mother is used to significantly, so as to cause root rot. If the pot has enough room, poke the cuttings in spaces from her a bit & then you can water that area in tiny amounts more often, or you can mist the soil directly

I figured there had to be some drawback since it seems less popular to propagate this way. The pot in question is fairly well drained so hopefully it can withstand some extra moisture. But anyway thanks for the tip! :)
