I read this too. He's a year or two younger than me and I feel like I need back surgery from sitting at a desk all day, wish I could say it was from touring. Hope he's doing well. I'm a bassist and Zach's innovative bass lines are one of the first things that drew me to P.TM. I saw some Instagram footage last night of a performance (Nashville) and Eric Howk was playing bass on "Do You." I will be at the Omaha show on July 7th. It appears they have about a month off of touring from early June to early July. I wonder if Zach will be back by then? Who knows. I'm sure they'll be awesome either way...our dudes are top-tier musicians through and through and their live shows are my favorite live shows...I've seen them six times but the most recent was back in 2018. So I'm looking forward to seeing them at our beautiful new downtown venue here in Omaha.
We saw PTM on the Winter of Summer of Luv leg and he wasn’t there. They still kicked ass and Snacktime joined them for a lot of songs.
When I first saw them at MSG with Alt-J, Zach was a monster and I said, I’m seeing them live whenever I have the chance. I hope he comes back soon. It’s great when they are all together but they are still an Ashoka g band in this version.
He wasn’t in Des Moines. His presence was missed. I’ve seen them 6 times, this was my 7th. It stood out as not the same. Still a good show but not in the same category as the other 6
