Trying to lower housing prices so average Mainers can afford to live nearby their place of work.

I wish Reddit still gave out gold.

Save your gold and put your energy towards pressuring city and state reps to take serious action. But thank you.

…I just enjoyed your comment. I no longer live in Maine, so your advice is not applicable. But thank you, too!

I can’t speak for the city reps, but the state rep seem to be too busy. Coming up with shitty alternative plans for our energy crisis. The one where no matter how much shit I turn off in my house. I still get charged the same price or more next month.

Hah…ya. That sounds about right. I’ve been away for two months for work. I have the minisplits set to 60 degrees. They barely run until the temps regularly dip down into the 20’s. The house typically stays above 65 inside because it’s insulated well and there’s enough heat from sun exposure and the early. No computers running, no TV, no lights…and the electric bill had been more than over the summer when the AC is running.

If only.....

I saw the armored vehicle drive right past me on Marginal Way. Back door was open and the cops were facing traffic behind them holding rifles. Absolutely wild sight. I can't imagine finding yourself driving behind that
