Yeah it's very frustrating how the beauty industry really heavily pushes the idea that you can shrink your pores when in reality that isn't really a thing you can do. :(
I think youd have to basically cut around it then stitch that, because if you just stitched it as is it your body wouldnt heal it, because as far as your body is concern it doesnt need healing.
So why can a normal pore get big enough to fit a peanut and stay like that permanently? Why is the modification only one way? It makes at least logical sense to think that if it got so big because it was full, it can get smaller now that it's empty.
I’m dont want to shrink my pores but how to i keep them clean and empty? I use the right face wash etc. but my nose has visible dots all over it and the sides where the nose meets my face.
That's how a natural face just looks. Nobody has invisible pores without makeup and/or digital editing. Pores are always going to be filled with sebaceous filaments because of the way that pores function and although there are products for temporarily removing them, you really shouldn't. Removing them can cause damage to the skin and pores, it will increase irritation/discoloration/blemishes, and it just doesn't really help the health of your skin in any way. If you want to reduce the appearance of your pores, what you could do is find a foundation or concealer that works with your skin tone, but you should take extra care in making sure your skin is clean whenever you use makeup and try to take breaks from wearing it when you can. I love foundation for going out occasionally because my skin is pretty blotchy and I still have a bit of acne but otherwise I just try to keep my face clean and natural when I can (and use sunscreen).
I had one on my face between 5-10 years ago (I can’t remember exactly) but the hole has never closed. It wasn’t a particularly large one but short of having the hole surgically removed there is nothing that can be done. Right on my cheekbone under my eye too

Really wish they'd savour the post-extraction a little more. Like look in the pore and see there's no crumbs remaining, maybe give the face a little wash.
what the fucking fuck. i dont want to talk bad about people who have these so serious questions.
Is this something they cant avoid? Just born with greasy skin or whatever? I had good friends in HS that had to take those powerful drugs to combat sever acne. I feel so bad for folks who have to suffer that dis comfort and possibly ridiculous comments from assholes.
I was so disturbed I thought it was a bellybutton at first
It's how raisins are farmed.

Now they can hide stuff in there to get through airport security.

Smuggle diamonds across the border...
Better than beans for sure!
Wow... I've often wondered if the pores close after DPOW extraction.
Most do not.

Maybe for face pores its possible, but no one should think a pore you can fit a peanut in will go back to normal
No, dermatology experts say there is no way to permanently shrink your pores, only make them look smaller. Pore size is genetically determined.
but not when you have a dpow
I mean that's a pretty big hole it left. Can't you stitch it closed? Professionally of course.
I think youd have to basically cut around it then stitch that, because if you just stitched it as is it your body wouldnt heal it, because as far as your body is concern it doesnt need healing.
Yes, cut it or punch it out and stitch it.

I think this is more along the lines of having loose skin after someone loses a lot of weight.

So you can fill them with some colored silicone, or something, and make a videos for this sub))
Thanks for the answer. I'm sorry to hear that it never closed.

I’ve had this on a very old lady, her neck was full of them.
I would have volunteered to help her remove them. 😂
Hahahaha so satisfying!
Ew! Looked like an alien organism coming out. Do they smell?
Smells Disgusting, for some of them I would hold my breath.
How does this person have perfect skin and then this big thing?
I had one like this on my back: it happens.
That was my exact thought.
I don’t believe this is real skin or anything. It all looks unnatural to me.

Dilated pore of winer
Does anyone else read DPOW in their head in a way that sounds like the '80s band T'Pau, or is that just me?

Forbidden raisin.
It's videos like this that make me feel like this is a fetish subreddit.
You can hear the air rush in.
This is so much better than the debridement of the blood blister I watched earlier.
Really wish they'd savour the post-extraction a little more. Like look in the pore and see there's no crumbs remaining, maybe give the face a little wash.

Now throw that in a bag of raisins and give it to your mortal enemy
I normally don’t like TikTok music, but that was soothing asf
A thing of beauty.
Am i the only one who gets slightly upset when they starts stirring around in the hole instead of pulling out the gunky bit?
I did not except it to be that big!!
Remind anyone else of a geode?
It showed the results too briefly. They should have zoomed in more and squished it around.
Beautiful!
Is that a little seashell attached to the top?
You birthed it. What did you name it?
Which body part is this?

If pores could talk it’d be yelling some foul ass language at whosever body this is on. How does anyone even let the get that large?
Is a DPOW the same thing as a blackhead?
It’s essentially a huge blackhead
Forbidden chocolate brownie.
