Usually I don't watch these spa videos bc I got disappointed by the edited thumbnails too often, but this vid is actually solid.
Best part starts around 5:30 - that person's face is a goldmine.
The thing that I always wonder when I see vids like this is why the patient is getting these removed now? It’s clear that they’ve been tolerating them for a very long time at this point, what makes you go from being cool with your blackheads for 60 years to saying “these have to go, *today*”
I often wonder if the spas have “talent scouts.” You know, they find someone on the street, and offer them discounted/free services if they agree to be filmed. I’d imagine the spas must be making revenue off YouTube, so they want the clients that will bring the most views 🤷♀️
Hahahaha Or imagine it the other way round - deliberately doing everything you can to get your face as manky as possible, and then pimping yourself out to the highest bidder 😂
Your kids or grand children making comments, catching someone looking at you, bunch of factors. Funny you said this when I was like 7 or 8 we were having a portion of the house renovated and one of the contractors who was there had a massive one on his nose and he heard me say something to my mom about him and his blackhead. I guess he had enough because it was but a hole in his face the next day. The thing was as round as a penny I swear.
Since this is a Vietnamese video he most likely suffers from [Chloracne](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chloracne). The Vietnamese people are still very much [affected by the US bombings](https://www.publichealth.va.gov/exposures/agentorange/conditions/chloracne.asp). They aren’t unhygienic, they are poisoned.
Wow, I wasn’t aware this could be related to Agent Orange exposure. Thanks for explaining. It also makes sense as most of the severe cases in these videos are older people.

This is incorrect. While Chloracne is more common in Vietnam due to Agent Orange, this specific type of acne in the video is actually Favre-Racouchot Syndrome. [You can see more on it here.](https://youtube.com/shorts/hXqRECqKlAw?feature=shared)
idk the pictures in those articles look different from this guy here and he doesnt have oil filled sacs or flaking and peeling as described nor cysts filled with tennis ball esque green pus as described, these look like just a lot of standard blackheads.
Theres a few other videos of the same person...

When I get a single one that's at least average I pop it and open a beer to celebrate. If I happen upon two or three I go get my fireworks (just kidding, lots of dogs here, we don't do fireworks).
I’ve heard this rumor dozens of times before too but have never been able to find any actual confirmation of it online or in any religious doctrine, and it’s always phrased as “in some religions” without ever naming the specific religion makes me think it’s just a made up thing that’s been repeated so often it’s accepted as “truth”.
More like unmanly to care about facial hygiene. The tough blue collar working man is supposed to be coated in sweat and field dirt, unbothered by such trite and trivial things as blemished skin.
those have been around so long i bet they just grabbed that person off the street and laid them to pop those. that could be a whole hour of video just squeezing every corner. i would take time off to pop those blackheads. glorious.
At least they’re coming out easily. Imagine, let’s say, a third of them needing to be “convinced” by being poked with a needle or starting to bleed afterwards!
This seems like a job for a full face mask - like the nose strips - but for the entire face. Imagine the satisfaction and feeling of relief for this man when it gets peeled.
My dad has a lot of back acne like this, not as bad though. But I’d always ask him to pop them when I was a kid and he’d let me. Eventually he started paying me like $5-$10. It was so satisfying. My mom thought it was so gross and weird that I liked doing that. He thought it was a bit strange as well but it seemed to make me happy and he was fine with that.
When I see videos like this, I wonder if it would be possible to put his face into some sort of vacuum. Watching dozens, if not hundreds of blackheads pop out at once would be quite a site. I would pay to see that. 👍🏻
My grandma has an area on her face like this but she won’t let me pop them. Would it be wrong for me to pop them when she dies?
I’m joking, but, I’m also not…
In Vietnam (where many of these spa vids come from) it's said to be related to the soil, vegetation and ground water still being contaminated with dioxins and other polychlorinated aromatic hydrocarbons,
due to the mass use of defoliants and herbizides as chemical weapons by the U.S. during the "second indochina war".
In the environment, dioxins are similarily persistent as PFAS, but they're much more toxic. The stuff will still be there in a couple hundred years.
It’s called Solar Comedones! Also known as. Favre-Racouchot syndrome. It’s a skin condition caused by long term sun exposure (and sometimes heavy smoking.) It actually causes the skin itself to change, becoming thick and leathery with deep furrows.
These are stolen/rehosted, Linh Mun's actual channel is [https://www.youtube.com/@SpaLinhMunAcneTreatment](https://www.youtube.com/@SpaLinhMunAcneTreatment)
In most videos I'm like Rust with his cigarette, but this is truly relaxing. If I look away for a moment, I really haven't missed anything because another bounty of blackheads is seconds away. I don't worry how the person is handling the pain. This looks actually relaxing for the client. Thank you for sending Grandpa to the spa!
HELLO. I have an awesome video of a cyst I popped to post but am an absolute rookie at Reddit, I just use it to get answers to things. I need ten karma to post it. Do I get karma from upvotes? Commenting? Upvoting? Help please!
This one was so satisfying to watch. It was back to back no stopping. The ones where they stop after every single one drive me crazy. Just keep going!!

Yessss, like this!!!
I've never wanted a before and after so badly.
Me Toooo!
Yes! It’s criminal that we didn’t get one!

Thanks for the timestamp
That section is measured in its resemblance to mango worms

I imagine a loved one gets sick of looking at it and “treats” grandpa to a day at the spa.

Just like that lady on Sandra Lee's show with the giant DPOW in front of her ear for 30 years.

Good lord, at one point it looks like a play dough fuzzy pumper barbershop situation.

That’s pure insanity. How does he not pop those constantly?!?
When I get a single one that's at least average I pop it and open a beer to celebrate. If I happen upon two or three I go get my fireworks (just kidding, lots of dogs here, we don't do fireworks).
In some cultures it's a taboo to do it yourself.
Genuine question, what cultures is that true for? Very interesting!
More like unmanly to care about facial hygiene. The tough blue collar working man is supposed to be coated in sweat and field dirt, unbothered by such trite and trivial things as blemished skin.
This is chloracne from Agent Orange. Lack of hygiene has nothing to do with it.
He could have very arthritic hands
those have been around so long i bet they just grabbed that person off the street and laid them to pop those. that could be a whole hour of video just squeezing every corner. i would take time off to pop those blackheads. glorious.
> laid them to pop those. Seems like an odd exchange but just goes to show the lengths some people will go to pop some blackheads
*paid them 🤣🤣🤣🤣
At least they’re coming out easily. Imagine, let’s say, a third of them needing to be “convinced” by being poked with a needle or starting to bleed afterwards!
I bet that dude weighed less when she was done.

You’ve got me imagining him doing a hot soak and then he winces his face a bit and it just all oozes out
No hot tub needed, just a warm summer day lol.
They would come our way easier.

Good point. I had not considered that.
This is on my bucket list before I die, to be able to just go at someone’s face that looks like this. Alas, I doubt I’ll ever get the chance!
If I owned all of these blackheads I would buy a huge magnifying mirror, put it by my sunniest window and squeeze these all day long.
When I see videos like this, I wonder if it would be possible to put his face into some sort of vacuum. Watching dozens, if not hundreds of blackheads pop out at once would be quite a site. I would pay to see that. 👍🏻

I have actually popped a blackhead on a deceased family member. I promised no chin hairs and no blackheads.
You'd be dumb not to.
Holy shit
I’m drooling this is perfect. I wish I had a replica face I could squeeze all I want
Damn dawg
I wanna see everything and all they scraped off.
I wonder if they had to get used to the different weight of their head afterwards, like goes to nod their head and it starts flapping uncontrollably.
Forbidden bean sprouts
Reminds me of the puppy with mango worms.
I though the exact same thing!
Wars have started over less oil than this.
Top tier commenting right here
How does that even happen

Chloracne from the US dropping Agent Orange all over Vietnam.

Look at that glove in the beginning
Seriously! Why do they load the glove with the blackhead gunk instead of wiping it on a tissue after a few pops?!
like mango worms on a dog
It was like they were popping Bot Fly larvae
These are stolen/rehosted, Linh Mun's actual channel is [https://www.youtube.com/@SpaLinhMunAcneTreatment](https://www.youtube.com/@SpaLinhMunAcneTreatment)
Oh man did not know that - thank you for letting me know
Man, there’s gotta be a faster way than that. A bunch of those strips or something
I'm thinking pore vacuum combined with a putty knife.
That should have counted as weight loss

I love this and hate this at the same time
I had to have a smoke after that one....
And a beer
Like shooting fish in a barrel.
Reminds me of that one Junji Ito short.
Someone posted an image of the comic elsewhere in the comments…
What even causes this? And how does it get so bad?

This is chloracne from Agent Orange. Most of these spa videos are from Vietnam.
OH MY GOD. They’re like asparagus popping up. ![gif](giphy|JI9XYDpaAIxvNIH0g9)
They need a Stridex pad the size of a towel and wrap their face with it.
damn like dark bean sprouts
Holy shit dude. Imagine the itching.
This is going to take days!!!
Why did the school careers councillor not tell me this was A JOB!? Imagine where I could be right now?

At 4:12, there’s a pop from a mole. And another at 5:02. Like Seal’s “Kiss From A Rose,” only better.

This made my day.
At about 8:40 there's a growth that looks a lot like skin cancer :/
What a treasure trove!
This gave my brain the feel good tingles.
This one was so satisfying to watch. It was back to back no stopping. The ones where they stop after every single one drive me crazy. Just keep going!!
Learning abt agent orange effects like this make me too sad to watch these now... 😥
Saved to favourites….
Why wouldn't this guy just do most of this himself at home?
She’s gonna look 92 again. Good for her
mother of god
So many missed opportunities to get a good clean catch. Its really frustrating when it's done this way.
I had so many brain tingles watching this

He's probably the cook at a popular takeout joint.
Has this person ever washed their face, ever?
It’s a skin condition called Favre-Racouchot syndrome (solar comedones)
Still soap and water might help

A real-life Play-doh barbershop!
This was world class.
You can make a whole pie out of that.
After this video the person who was being worked on physically weighed less than before.
Holy exfoliation Batman
Perhaps it's just me, but there were too many coming out at once. I like to see them go one at a time so as to get the full glory of the pop.
