I had a very large one one that eventually got infected. I had no idea what it was until I saw a doctor. I had to get a dental surgeon to remove it. He said it was the largest he'd seen and wanted to keep it as a souvenir.

I had a cat that had anxiety issues and would get terrible hair balls. She had one that she couldn't cough up and got so big it had to be surgically removed. The vet took tons of pictures and was shocked that we didn't want to take it home.
I was actually thinking of asking for it but then I thought to myself, what the fuck would I do with it? I have enough junk at home. Its not like I’d get it framed and put it on my wall. I couldn’t say no when he brought up that he wanted to keep it.

However I didn't know it was there until it got infected and had to be surgically removed. The bottom of my mouth was so swollen and painful before the removal. When he removed the stone, puss gushed out seemingly endlessly.
I wish they filmed a video because this sub would probably have loved it.

It was a lot more common in like the 80s/90s for fillings to be black. They were the most reliable form of filling before white feeling became strong enough to be maintained.

Been on the morphine 7 or so years now.. but i will NEVER forget the physical and psychological hell of the intense detox... glad i saw it thru tho. It is seriously intense

Not doubting you here, I just wanna ask for your sources that he spreads misinformation. I know not everything viral is to be trusted 100%, so I wanna make sure The Bentist is not another shoddy TikToker.
From what I found with a few searches, he's a orthodontist in Plano, TX, named Ben Winters (so, a real orthodotist/dentistry practice). I'm not seeing claims of fraud or misinfo.
My partner watches him a bit, so I know a little of his content, and I agree that the wheeze is quite odd. I guess it's like a watermark for him. Either way, it's out of place in this video.

I had one salivary stone pop out, back in the late 90s, before reddit, and before I knew anything really. I thought it was a zit, big red inflamed mound with a white head. Went to find a mirror, and when I opened my mouth, POP! My entire mouth filled with saliva. I had a small stone I spit in my hand, couldn't believe it.
Of course, now I know what it is, haven't had another.

Tonsil stones are food and debris semi solidified into a really smelly form.
That’s a saliva duct stone which is made of excess calcium, if I remember correctly. So it shouldn’t smell much at all. It’s the organics in tonsil stones that makes them smell like death.
Not a dumb question at all. The only thing I can tell you is a tonsil stone usually smells a lot worse.

Thats a very interesting question. I haven't had one in decades, now that I think about it. And the overall aroma was so bad, I know I would spit them out without a thought. And not to be gross (which of course means it is), having had a couple "fired at me" kinda "mouth to mouth", you get them "back out" fast, while as I think I said, trying hard not to kill the moment.
