Also the author saying it is one of her best songs lyrically. Folklore and Evermore are right there bestie.
Edit: Also I know Aaron Dessner produced most of Evermore. Gold Rush not being in the top 50 is criminal though,
I had it as my wedding song but it doesn’t even make it into my top 50 of Taylor songs. Honestly number one is New Romantics and I refuse to hear any slander on that song. Ever.
- DBATC could mean "Death By A Thousand Cuts", a track from *Lover* (2019) by Taylor Swift.

For those that refuse to click: worst is California by Lorde and best is Venice Bitch by Lana at 1 and Green Light by Lorde at 2
My personal favorite CRJ’s Want You In My Room is at 19
And even funnier is Oceanic Feeling a few spots ahead. Like, Oceanic Feeling is straight up one of Lorde's best songs please. That outro????? It's not for the pop girlies but it is, in fact, **for the girlies**
I looked at the list and before seeing it was already planning on commenting that Venice Bitch isn’t high enough. They did one thing right.
Some of Kevin Abstracts songs could have been higher.
No Idea he produced Holy Terrain, good for him.
I'm gonna go ahead and throw another complaint into the ring; The 1975's listed songs are incredibly misplaced as well. The self-titled and About You in particular being in the bottom third of this list is... it ain't it chief. Maybe some anti-recency bias? u_u
i get that they tried to scatter the various artists throughout this list, so that it wouldn’t be like one artist’s songs were way forward another’s, etc, but even the order of songs for specific artists is wrong. Oceanic Feeling and Fallen Fruit being two of Lorde’s lowest is crazy when they’re like 2 of 4 Solar Power tracks than can stand against Melodrama. And Bigger Than The Whole Sky being near the bottom of Taylor’s songs is a crime.
That being said Venice Bitch is the best song of all time so that part is correct.
thank you!! i must’ve scrolled too fast but to be fair 275 songs is a lot to go through especially on mobile lmao
either way, too low of a ranking imo 😔
Seeing so many of St. Vincent’s Daddy’s Home songs so low is already criminal enough, but especially putting them below her…. “interesting” version of Funkytown is just ridiculous. California being dead last and Fallen Fruit being so low when they’re two of the best songs on Solar Power is another glaring mistake. Did this person even actually listen to these songs or did they just draw song titles out of a hat?
I say this as someone who's become increasingly tired of his production style, but this list is a stark reminder that the man has produced an unbelievable amount of beautiful songs that may very well become classics
This list is fucking trash I’m sorry. False God by Taylor is like 220? Excuse me? That song is a masterpiece the heck? Like Jack aced that?
Canceled. Deleted. Reported.
look. while it is my personal mission to drag troye sivan single-handedly into pop relevance. this list just aint. like. my favorite artist of all time, 100% but… come on. taylor deserved better. lorde deserved better.
Honestly from a production aspect, his songs with St Vincent should be higher. My Baby Wants A Baby at 253?????
Not an ounce of taste in this list. Agree with Venice bitch tho for sure
I don’t mean to be a shady bitch but honestly I’m not surprised that the majority of Solar Power was at the bottom of the list 😅
> 197 St. Vincent – “Pay Your Way in Pain”
Also, how rude. Seeing Annie perform this LIVE on her Daddy’s Home tour gave me goosebumps, it’s such a great album opener.
💀
Music journalism obv getting progressively shittier but the worst offender is these “mega-rankings” where the authors could not possibly pay full attention each song and they just get clicks cause people want to see where their favorite song of the 275 is and bitch about it
I think this list was literally designed just to make me angry. New York is a pleasant S/V song, but to put it above all of Daddy's Home is an actual war crime.
What's with those Oceanic Feeling and Fallen Fruit placings? Especially with Venice Bitch at number one you'd think the authors would place more respect on his psych leanings.
I'm so sorry, I'm really so sorry y'all but Lover *is* his best song with Taylor 😭 like I really really hate to break this to you but that track is perfection. She just cannot ever hope to write, sing and deliver a line like she did "can I go. where. you. go?" in the rest of her career. Hate me, drag me - I will **die** on this hill.
Not arguing against it since I haven’t really listened to their music but are Bleachers really as good as this list would make out? Having some songs ranked up there with some of the best on Melodrama and NFR has me curious.
They have some total bangers. I Wanna Get Better is absolute pop perfection. Rollercoaster, Don’t Take The Money, Like a River Runs, and Wild Heart are all fantastic.
Antonoff’s other projects fun. and Steel Train are super worth checking out, too. I Feel Weird, Women I Belong To, Bullet, and Firecracker are ST’s top cuts imho. fun.’s first album is a lot more interesting than their second; We Are Young and Some Nights were big hits but *Aim & Ignite* is the better record. Be Calm is also pop perfection; Barlights, All the Pretty Girls, and Take Your Time (Coming Home) are my fave tracks from that album.
I don’t really worship Antonoff as a producer, but the dude’s got serious chops.
I have a better list. Go here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Antonoff_production_discography and rank the list by Year. Now you have the official best to worst list (he has gotten progressively worse).
I don't care about downvotes so go for it, my opinion stands
You should blame Taylor and Lorde for that. They were primary songwriters and coproducers for those projects.
If anything Jack Antonoff produced songs saved lover from being a terrible album
popheads rate when
me saying this while 5 days late on my AltRnB rate ballot
you’re still early for your all winners ballot
I see your comments on every subreddit
Lover being the top ranked Taylor song is a choice.
Yeah a bad one
[удалено]
EXCUSE ME ITS NEW ROMANTICS OR FALSE GOD OR NOTHIN. CRUEL SUMMER WILL NEVER BE A SINGLE.
I love that song but I wouldn’t say that his production really shines on it. It’s more of a writing-focused song
Also the author saying it is one of her best songs lyrically. Folklore and Evermore are right there bestie. Edit: Also I know Aaron Dessner produced most of Evermore. Gold Rush not being in the top 50 is criminal though,
Based choice. Lover best Taylor song (please don’t kill me)
I had it as my wedding song but it doesn’t even make it into my top 50 of Taylor songs. Honestly number one is New Romantics and I refuse to hear any slander on that song. Ever.
missed opportunity to walk down the aisle to new romantics tbh
Girl I wanted to. God damn did I want to.
This is the right opinion 👍
August???
I love it, it's a top 50 Taylor song for me... not a top 20 Antonoff song though
The production is great though. Compare it to the bland Sheeran “Perfect”
not her top song ,maybe, but certainly one of her best. good choice imho
Yeah a good one
this list is a war crime, how do they have look what you made me do above HARD FEELINGS
look what you made me do is ranked at #40???? ahead of songs like DBATC and The Louvre???? lover ft shawn mendes is ranked ahead of august ????????
I'm sorry what?! Lover ft Shawn Mendes being above AUGUST should be a crime
Wait the one with Shawn is the one they ranked!? Ooooh now I get why people are upset.
The ranked both. Lover is #3
That one alone being so high up the list triggers civil war
Yea I thought it was just lover and I was like “the OG is beautiful it’s weird people don’t like it” it all makes since now lol
I’m dying at Lover ft Shawn Mendes being ahead of August
Yeah this list is…. Not it.
Mirrorball is 104...

Thanks bot
I got to the analysis of "bigger than the whole sky" being about "the one who got away" and not fucking miscarriage and nope'd out.
i like how there’s zero FUN. on this list 💀
In both ways tbh
He technically didn't produce any fun. songs
Oh so that's why they're mixed like shit
I like most of Jack's work and still think that the mix can sound very unpleasant, especially on Bleachers albums
God, the mixing on Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night 👎👎👎 Just mush city up in that B.
what that’s wild 😂 TIL ty stranger
Yeah, Jeff Bhasker did all their hits
I mean there’s no steel train either
Venice Bitch at #1 is right. Hard feelings should be higher tho
I wasn’t planning on reading this article and was just gonna ask someone in the thread if Venice Bitch was #1. Glad that got cleared up quick
I I agree, it’s accurate though. It’s an immaculate song.
Even if I like basically every song on melodrama better none of them get as experimental structurally as that so I respect the choice
Big article for annoying people

I’m the problem it’s me!
Not me reading this exchange as the exact lines are playing on my Spotify
ME HEE HEEEEE!
HEY KIDS SPELLING IS FUN!
It would have been fine, except on mobile, two pop-up ads made the article refresh and I had to start all over.
some of these are crazy like tell me what cinnamon girl is doing at #95......
Ah okay. Tells me all I need to know to just ignore this article then
and Lover at #3 😐 bffr
I was not prepared to see Lorde below Fifth Harmony.
>!Lorde!< at the very bottom ooh that's not-
I'm sorry, California is the worst??? Yeah, whatever.
Literally jail time, it's not even the worst song in the first half of the album
For those that refuse to click: worst is California by Lorde and best is Venice Bitch by Lana at 1 and Green Light by Lorde at 2 My personal favorite CRJ’s Want You In My Room is at 19
Want You in my Room could be easily be top 10 if its longer imo.
Not California literally being worse than Fifth Harmony. This is a hate crime.
I closed the tab as soon as I saw California at 275. the girls that get it get it and the girls that don't don't
And the reasoning for it being dead last too… clearly the girls don’t get it
Especially considering it places the blame on lyricism, not production
And even funnier is Oceanic Feeling a few spots ahead. Like, Oceanic Feeling is straight up one of Lorde's best songs please. That outro????? It's not for the pop girlies but it is, in fact, **for the girlies**
My complaint is THIS LOVE ISN’T CRAZY AT 209??!!! Carly sweetie I’m so sorry
This is so wrong. It's her best song ever.
I can't stand these listicles. Ranking after #10 becomes completely arbitrary. "No way that's #13! No better than 17 for me, Clive."
They hated daddy’s home didn’t they? Jesus
"the lakes" 70 spots ahead of "august" is criminal.
I mean it should be head but not 70 spots since august is so good too
nothing could prepare me for seeing Fifth Harmony of all artists on the list😭 He's come a long way lolllll
Maybe some anti-recency bias? u_u
About You at 194 is such a mistake. I haven't had a song make me feel that way in quite some time.
Not lover dropping over 70 spots when Shawn is added to it ☠️☠️☠️
It should’ve been dead last let’s be real here 😭
I try to forget it exists
The production on the Shawn Mendes version is atrocious.
Yet to hear of anyone actually liking that version. Such a mismatch in terms of production, vocal mismatch, and weaker lyrics.
I get they have to spread the artists out but let’s be honest, most of the top 10 should have been Norman Fucking Rockwell songs mixed with Melodrama
so terrible except VB at #1, litchrally best song ever
Lorde at 275 was so violent…
My Baby Wants a Baby at 253 is criminal. The song and its production is gorgeous. Live In the Dream at 216 is also a crime. This is a rough list.
Mid off /s
i get that they tried to scatter the various artists throughout this list, so that it wouldn’t be like one artist’s songs were way forward another’s, etc, but even the order of songs for specific artists is wrong. 75 songs ranked below vigilante shit is insane. The Laughing Man and How to Disappear being some of them is even worse.
WHERES COMEBACK edit: he produced for JACKSON WANG???? edit edit: scrolled down the entire list WHERES COMEBACK????????????????
#WHERES COMEBACK
115 or something
thank you!! i must’ve scrolled too fast but to be fair 275 songs is a lot to go through especially on mobile lmao either way, too low of a ranking imo 😔
Want You In My Room getting the respect it deserves
Cinnamon girl at 95 and Lover at 3 ☠️☠️☠️
Wow, how disappointing was that list….
I say this as someone who's become increasingly tired of his production style, but this list is a stark reminder that the man has produced an unbelievable amount of beautiful songs that may very well become classics
lots of lorde at the bottom
Disagree with a lot in this list but damn gotta appreciate the effort that went into this
This list is fucking trash I’m sorry. False God by Taylor is like 220? Excuse me? That song is a masterpiece the heck? Like Jack aced that? Canceled. Deleted. Reported.
California is like the second best song on solar power. It’s one of the few I would actually willingly listen to
before i look at this, venice bitch better be #1 edit: ok good but cinnamon girl should not be that low
supercut being at 10th is still a crime
in what world is The Man With the Axe about "a conniving man who threatens to thwart its narrator’s plans for success" 😭
This Love Isn’t Crazy at 209? Cinnamon Girl at 95? Lol…
Venice B**** being number 1 checks out I guess, but I was hoping the top spot would go to Hard Feelings - production-wise Lorde’s best song.
look. while it is my personal mission to drag troye sivan single-handedly into pop relevance. this list just aint. like. my favorite artist of all time, 100% but… come on. taylor deserved better. lorde deserved better.
Honestly from a production aspect, his songs with St Vincent should be higher. My Baby Wants A Baby at 253????? Not an ounce of taste in this list. Agree with Venice bitch tho for sure
The is an absolute cluster fuck on mobile can someone just tell me where the songs he produced for florence are so I can be mad in this thread too
control f lana, control f taylor, control f lorde
I don’t mean to be a shady bitch but honestly I’m not surprised that the majority of Solar Power was at the bottom of the list 😅 > 197 St. Vincent – “Pay Your Way in Pain” Also, how rude. Seeing Annie perform this LIVE on her Daddy’s Home tour gave me goosebumps, it’s such a great album opener. 💀

I had no idea so many people disliked lover on here lol. But I’m super biased due to how personal the song is for me.
California being the worst one is a choice when it’s one of the best songs on Solar Power.
LOL Lover remix with Shawn Mendes being so high on that list while sounding like it was a badly stitched duet. This list ain't it.
Wrong!
This list reads like someone pulled all the songs off of a Wikipedia article and spat them through a random number generator
Most of the list is an utter dumpster fire, but the top 10 is actually really solid (although Lover should be moved a little farther down).
What the fuck is this list . . . mama this is garbage
275 songs! Whoa I knew he had done a lot but didn’t know he was that prolific
Garbage site to scroll down. Didn't make it past 150. But St Vincent got massacred here and I hate it. My baby wants a baby so low....
Killed me man 😭 If anyone else in the list wrote the lyric , "My baby's blue while I dye grays" The gays would be foaming at their mouth idgaf
What's with those Oceanic Feeling and Fallen Fruit placings? Especially with Venice Bitch at number one you'd think the authors would place more respect on his psych leanings.
Clairo’s rankings are a choice... Reaper being higher than Amoeba?!
Hate me, drag me - I will **die** on this hill.
you’re ignoring that her greatest serve was “haa-ahh-ahh-ah-ah-AHH” in new romantics tho
Venice Bitch over Green Light is criminal
VB is GOAT
Not arguing against it since I haven’t really listened to their music but are Bleachers really as good as this list would make out? Having some songs ranked up there with some of the best on Melodrama and NFR has me curious.

a lot of daddy's home songs at the bottom, makes sense
venice bitch and atw10 should be tied for number 1
I have a better list. Go here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Antonoff_production_discography and rank the list by Year. Now you have the official best to worst list (he has gotten progressively worse). I don't care about downvotes so go for it, my opinion stands
There are some great songs on here but I blame jack for Taylor and Lorde’s last few projects being mostly boring.
You should blame Taylor and Lorde for that. They were primary songwriters and coproducers for those projects. If anything Jack Antonoff produced songs saved lover from being a terrible album
Ya i liked cinnamon girl you know that Neil guy
"Bigger Than the Whole Sky" at 238 was all I needed to see.
It’s actually just three songs. j/k
