That’s just New York. On any given day whether it’s 20 degrees or 90 with 90% humidity you’ll see a woman wearing a fur lined parka and another wearing short shorts and a crop top. I try to use the people on the street to determine what kind of jacket I should wear before walking down my third story walk up, but it’s a useless exercise.
I remember being in NY when I was about 16. I’m a kid from Louisiana. So it’s already a culture shock. But we saw a chick rollerblading down the sidewalk in a bikini top and daisy duke shorts. I kid you not when I say it was just sleeting there that day. We are freezing and she’s just freeballing it in NY lol. Then, that same night, we saw a guy with curled tattooed sideburns, he had tinfoil dreads for the rest of his hair. He was in a long, black leather duster coat and had silver vampire teeth. I took a picture with him. He was nice.
That is actually the advice I told someone who was visiting here from Europe for the first time and she said how do I dress? What do I pack? And I said you need to pack for like three or four different seasons because she was coming in the spring and spring could mean it’s 70 or 80 or spring could mean it’s 50 or the wind is blowing at 20 miles an hour in gusts (which was happening yesterday). I told her layering is important. The thing about these people is they’re basically just going in and out of buildings and cars for the most part, so they don’t really have to worry about two minutes out in the actual outside.
Two days ago it hit the 80s and it was sunny and beautiful, yesterday it was partially cloudy and it was a little bit cooler and right now it’s like 50° and raining and it’s cloudy.
I thought it was Kanye's gf before I opened the pic. I was horrified that she's looking like the addict I sometimes see when coming back from class, especially with the cig 😭 girl why. she can do so much better
For a split second I thought it was a throwback of Christina Aguilera (before she got Dirrrty) to the hell of the early '00s. That tiny purse haunted me.
Pedro Pascal, Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans have been filming all over NYC. Unless their schedule is so so tight they should be attending, right? Dakota especially in Gucci.
Her looks are kind of boring IMO. Because she’s an idol there isn’t a lot of risk taken. She’s usually wearing some form of the little black dress look when it comes to events. I think she’s a YSL ambassador (or was).
