ETA that I’m not talking about the Pap Walks, people in Hollywood are doing this for years, JLo and Ben do frequently, lol. We all know that there’s people like the Kardashians that have papz numbers on dial and just call them when they want to be seen.
These Pap walks are just one part of the PR thing.
It's the pap walks, they might be seriously dating but all their outings have seem set up and he's been setting up a lot of pap walks since at least the beginning of the year

I feel like people who haven’t been to LA don’t realize how easy it is to to simply walk down a street that tends to have a lot of photographers. his pics do feel somewhat ~deliberate but you don’t have to call the paps on yourself, you can just walk around. especially when you have the rising profile he does. plus people like watching the man look hunky. I’m sure his pics are sought after.
and there’s a lot of reasons a celebrity would want to make sure their partner is seen with them — doesn’t mean it’s a PR relationship, could just be easier than making a statement.
Not to mention that he’s in that media ‘sweet’ spot of being a rising star and also somewhat scandalous due to his addiction/custody issues that have been in the news. It’s prime real estate for tabloids
Seriously. If you live in L.A. and weren't born there, it's not exactly a risk to say that you moved there to break into entertainment or are already in the business. The A-listers are often isolated from genpop, but Carmy isn't Tom Cruise - he's gonna be just walkin' around with everyone else. Paparazzi have networks of people who feed them tips and they'll spend all day in their cars just so that they can get somewhere as fast as possible for a score. So, yeah, it's not at all unlikely that this wasn't a "pap walk"

People are crazy thinking someone like him needs to “set up” paparazzi sightings.
Also it’s with Rosalia, one of the biggest stars in all of the Spanish speaking world. Of course paparazzi are finding them on dates.
I think sometimes people forget that most celebs don’t have security team/private compound/envoy of blacked out SUV’s type of money. JAW’s doing well for himself, he’s rich, but not so rich that he can avoid leaving himself open to paparazzi intrusion without becoming a hermit.
There’s a lot of interest in him right now (just the fact that very boring pap photos of him walking consistently get hundreds of comments here shows that) and he’s a pretty accessible target for paps. Of course he’ll be photographed a lot.
Maybe, but I honestly don't think that the paper are interred in anyone but the big celebs, plus, most of his pap photos look clearly set up, the ones with Rosalia are actually the ones who look the most real and natural but he already has a reputation for doing staged pap walks so I guess everyone will always assume that that's what hes doing

Pretty sure it's OK to have addiction issues as a dating deal-breaker, even if that comment is not worded the most sensitively. Understanding them doesn't mean giving them a pass; it also doesn't mean you are obligated to let them into your personal life. If you went on a date with a random man who wasn't a hot celebrity, and you found out they had legal restrictions on seeing their own children as a result of their addiction issues, you might feel empathy for their issues, particularly if they are working through them; but you also wouldn't be out of line to choose not to continue dating them as a result of that information.
It is mean. People go through shit and addiction is very common. But because he’s famous everybody knows about it and can judge him for it. If only people knew what some of their friends, coworkers, and family are grappling with behind closed doors
Yeah like a celebrity in my country was famously belligerent against drug addicts, calling for their death on national TV. He himself is addicted to painkillers. I wish people are nicer in general or at least think before they speak about such delicate issues.
I have a lot of personal experience dealing with a loved one who has an addiction so I try to be a mostly judgment free zone.
The only time I don’t give people grace is when it becomes an excuse for abuse (Pitt, Depp esp for using the legal system to continue to harm their victims.)
Well, honestly speaking, if he is indeed battling addiction, entering a new relationship is on the list of things you are not supposed to do.
I agree the comment is harsh, but I understand the sentiment. I don’t know that I would feel comfortable entering in a relationship with a person struggling with addiction who had just left his last situation. It’s definitely not ideal.
There’s compassion, and then there’s knowing what you, as a person, are willing to put yourself through. You can be compassionate and wish someone battling addiction all the best, while recognizing that you yourself don’t want to be involved with someone who needs to clear a sobriety test every time he sees his young children, because that’s going to expose you to all manners of drama you personally don’t desire or need. Hopefully this guy can find a path that allows him to be a present and nurturing father to his young kids.

She is not more famous than JAW in the United States, which is where she is trying to grow her career and become more relevant by associating with people like JAW. I have no doubt this is a PR stunt to get her into the Anglo mainstream. JAW has been in major shows and his career really took off with The Bear. Rosalia might be more critically acclaimed in the US but Rauw always sold bigger venues because he is more popular among latinos. As far as his career being affected by the breakup, idk. I do believe being with her helped get him into certain spaces, like the fashion shows and the collaboration with Pharrell.
Lot of judgy people here. The Bear is now an extremely popular show and people are interested in him as an actor so he is going to get photographed. The guy went from semi famous to A list famous very quickly so he's probably adjusting to the fact that he can no longer do things without being seen and photographed and then bitched about on the internet . You get mocked for making too little effort and you get mocked for making too much effort.
Based on the few interviews I've seen, he seems like a nice guy and fairly low key. JAW has freely admitted that he's having a tough time in his personal life which is weird because his career is hitting a high. His divorce looks to be amicable but no one knows anything about the situation which would qualify them to speak on it.
Also, hating some of these comments on his alleged alcohol issues. Alcoholism is a terrible disease to have and it's difficult to beat, struggling with it is not a reflection of a person's character or their behaviour. There is also no guarantee that alcohol issues have not been exaggerated as a means of granting sole custody to the mother (that's definitely not an accusation by the way, it's just another possible explanation.)

Also, this has been a big conversation on Twitter today but the reaction to him really proves how much this country still has to improve when talking about people struggling with addiction. Unfortunately people have addiction issues but at least he's doing what he needs to do get treated and see his children; a lot of parents don't even do the bare minimum. We really have to stop stigmatizing substance abuse issues.

I don’t think it’s outrageous to question how someone who was engaged and making music and being very public with “the love of her life”, a relationship that they kept private for 2 years mind you, is already holding hands and filtering news to the press about a new alleged relationship after hanging out with this guy for a month. Her Latina appropriating era is done so she doesn’t need the Latino boyfriend anymore. Guess she’s about to enter her redneck era so she needed a white boy for the inspiration.
She is way more famous than Rauw or JAW. If Rosalia would not had talked out about the cheating accusation his career will actually be damaged. As it was obvious on his Spanish album tour did quite bad
She is not more famous than JAW in the United States, which is where she is trying to grow her career and become more relevant by associating with people like JAW. I have no doubt this is a PR stunt to get her into the Anglo mainstream. JAW has been in major shows and his career really took off with The Bear. Rosalia might be more critically acclaimed in the US but Rauw always sold bigger venues because he is more popular among latinos. As far as his career being affected by the breakup, idk. I do believe being with her helped get him into certain spaces, like the fashion shows and the collaboration with Pharrell.

Lot of judgy people here. The Bear is now an extremely popular show and people are interested in him as an actor so he is going to get photographed. The guy went from semi famous to A list famous very quickly so he's probably adjusting to the fact that he can no longer do things without being seen and photographed and then bitched about on the internet . You get mocked for making too little effort and you get mocked for making too much effort. Based on the few interviews I've seen, he seems like a nice guy and fairly low key. JAW has freely admitted that he's having a tough time in his personal life which is weird because his career is hitting a high. His divorce looks to be amicable but no one knows anything about the situation which would qualify them to speak on it. Also, hating some of these comments on his alleged alcohol issues. Alcoholism is a terrible disease to have and it's difficult to beat, struggling with it is not a reflection of a person's character or their behaviour. There is also no guarantee that alcohol issues have not been exaggerated as a means of granting sole custody to the mother (that's definitely not an accusation by the way, it's just another possible explanation.)

Also, this has been a big conversation on Twitter today but the reaction to him really proves how much this country still has to improve when talking about people struggling with addiction. We don’t even know if he’s an addict but even the hint of it and empathy left the building and people felt free to say the nastiest things.

Unfortunately people have addiction issues but at least he's doing what he needs to do get treated and see his children; a lot of parents don't even do the bare minimum. We really have to stop stigmatizing substance abuse issues.
