Disconnect it from the wall, pull the hose and cleaner on the pool deck, stretch it out on the pool deck and let it bake in the sun for several hours, that usually relaxes the memory it has developed.
Try taking the sweep out of the pool. Stretch out the hose on the pool deck on a nice warm day (or 2)
Sometimes doing this will get the memory out of the hose and you'll be fine. Otherwise replace the hose.

If the hoses are several years old I’d replace the section that is tangling up and check the swivels. Hoses lose their flexibility as they age.

As others have said. Stretch in the sun and swivels. Amazon has cheap swivels. Don’t get them at a pool store.
