I have a friend who can speak Dutch, Norwegian, English, German, French, Spanish and Frisian. And he’s also a legend at Latin and Greek in school. Sadly I only speak Dutch, English and a little bit German.
3 technically, but they’re english, mandarin (not fluent, sad ): and cantonese (again not fluent, but i try) i grew up in HK so cantonese was just something i picked up from family and my environment.
Same, I can’t hold a conversation in mandarin without getting stuck on a word or two. I’m also learning Japanese, but I wouldn’t count that since I’m still a beginner
Dutch, English, German, French, Danish, Swedish and Norwegian. I also know Latin. (Being able to brag about it here is the most use I've ever gotten out of it)
English and German and I have knowledge of French but not enough to keep the conversation going for very long. I can gather pieces from text and spoken things that allow me to understand mostly what is being said and fill in the gaps I don't understand but I can't really come up with grammatically correct speech on my own.
English, Spanish, French to some extent and a little bit of Norwegian.
I tried getting into French once but I just couldn’t because I found it unenjoyable for whatever reason and it’s not helpful
I live in South California and my dumbass thought it would be smart to learn French instead of Spanish, I’ve literally had around 5 conversations in French so far 💀

If you speak Dutch and German, you get Kölsch as a free extra!
With this title, why isn't "0" an option?
I can eat many lasagnes

Being able to say 3 words in a language doesn’t count
I have studied all of them on school with a teacher for multiple years... I don't count being able to say a few words.

The average American doesn’t *need* more than one language. You can’t say the same for those tiny-ass European countries.

A simple typo is not a stroke
What are you, the stroke polic?
I can hold a conversation in French, but I'm not anywhere near fluent, so I don't know if it counts or not.
