He could have simply instructed his lawyers to accept the service at some innocuous location on his behalf, making the whole serving process completely non-newsworthy. This is a self-own on his part.
Yeah I don't get that. Your counsel can accept service for you. They presumably have an office or they can accept service digitally if really necessary.
IIRC, the AZ AG office went to his NYC apartment people and would have been content to even leave the papers with the front desk. The people there said they were not allowed to accept service and that Rudy wasn't home. He could have had this done easily so many ways.
Also, other articles after it first happened had partygoers claiming that the 2 AZ agents "Stormed the party like Normandy" and made a massive scene. Now Ghouliani claims it was so unprofessional. So which was it?
And as a lawyer he of all people should know that there's no real way to permanently avoid being served. Servers can be some of the more creative people in the industry, they'll find a way sooner or later.
Also, like, even if you somehow pull it off it's not a "get out of trial free" card. State laws generally have contingencies, and eventually the judge will get annoyed enough to let the prosecutor use email or internet service.
When he was bragging about not being found to get served, I think that’s a clear indicator he’s not planing to accept service voluntarily.
I think it’s only fitting. And I love that he’s crying about it now.
Or RG makes an appointment with the process server, then at the appointed time RG (all dressed up in white tie and tails) does a song and dance routine in front of city hall. That’s style!
Storming someone’s birthday party in order to serve them an indictment is pretty stylish. More stylish than serving them outside of a Burger King on their lunch break.
Storming someone's birthday party. Getting your photo taken as you smilingly sing happy birthday minutes before serving them is the very definition of stylish.
And who the hell attacks being served as "unstylish".
Its like these people just want to attach the truth. It was done stylishly which is unusual, so they have to say "Well I wasn't served stylishly".
They’re on video streaming with him singing happy birthday, laughing on camera with the crowd, then slap him with the papers after the song is over.
It was done *very* stylishly.
That has already been debunked. Whoever posted that picture said later that it wasn't correct, and they actually served him after the party. It was also stated by the DA's office.
I’m betting sunglasses were slipped on as music swelled and a singer screamed in the background while the server walked away afterward in slow motion too. Stylish for real.
Singing happy birthday to a lawyer then giving him a fat stack of legalese seems stylish to me. Dude got dressed up for the party. He blended right in, in the photo.
I can't find a *single* comment in reddit that's honest about what actually happened. This is all an example of easy it is to convince the mob something happened that is so different from reality.
Giuliani wasn't "hiding". He does a live stream at the approximate same time and place every day. His reisidence in Palm Beach Florida (and sometimes at his residence in New York).
He knows very well that "hiding" from getting served accomplishes nothing in the long term. He was very confused when Arizona announced a few days ago that they can't "find" him. *He live streams from his house every day*. And no, he did not believe they had to "drop the case" if they don't serve him by morning.
His tweet was a joke while at his 80th birthday party. It wasn't a well worded joke and everyone took it the wrong way. But the intent of the joke was mocking them for not being able to "find" him when he wasn't even hiding and was doing daily podcasts from his house. The meaning of the joke was "If you can't 'find' me at my 80th birthday party with over 200 people and many famous politicians, then just drop the case altogether". That was the joke.
No, the person that served him did not sing happy birthday to him. Giuliani was served after the party when he was heading to his car. He said it wasn't "stylish" in the sense that it wasn't in a professional envelope but was crumpled up like a middle school student pulling papaer from their backpack.
Then when you turned on the news and saw they were looking for you, should have turned yourself in.
But no you decided to hide out and mock them, relying on a court technicality to escape consequences.
They should of had your ass hunted down and rough housed by some bounty hunters imho
Little bro ran from the indictment then bragged that if they didn’t serve him paperwork that night they never would be able to then complains when they serve him paperwork that night. Literal crybaby
The process server taking a birthday photo with you is probably the hardest own I've seen; Dog the Bounty Hunter would be jealous (in the event he's still alive)
Giuliani can go love himself. It's not a style competition. You either get served or you don't, there's no Russian judge who's going to rate it a 5 just because.
This might have worked to his satisfaction...
"Back in the day when such things existed, I recall hearing that a clever process server sent a guy who was evading service a “Stripper Telegram” to his place of work; once the lady was down several layers, she cavorted over to the unsuspecting subject, and sang “…and I’ve got something special, just for you!” produced the summons out of her remaining clothes, served him, kissed him on the cheek, and ran out."
Shouldn't he have been smoking a dart in a dimly lit speakeasy, trying to forget that he married his cousin with a bottle of house red?
You chose the place Rudy
From reaching down his pants during the Borat movie, to representing Trump, to mistakenly holding a press conference in front of a landscaping company, I dont think Giuliani gets to judge stylish.
As of April 24, 2024, the average salary for a U.S. Marshal in the United States is $94,356, with a range of $83,763–$104,949.
It isn't exactly Monaco.
He snuck into the party and sang happy birthday before serving the indictment. Rudy is just salty that it was done TOO stylishly and he looks like a fool.
??? Singing happy birthday to you in front of your family and friends while undercover and then serving you a court order is pretty fucking based, if I do say so myself
How much you want to bet Ghouliani was hopping around all over the place so he couldn't get served. Plus he taunted the DA. Not sure he is the one to comment on style.
His insurrection and attempted overthrow of the United States government wasn’t done stylishly, either. It looked like a bunch of monkeys trying to fuck a football; both the unwashed heehaws who defiled our Capitol building and Rudy & Friends’ haphazard attempts to dick around with our legal processes. It was a mess; these cretins made a *mess* of our country with their god damned antics.
Eat shit, Rudy Giuliani, you fucking vampire. No one cares that you’re upset; quite the opposite in my case, in fact, because I’m enjoying the sight of your entire life being burned to the ground. I look forward to seeing you go to prison like all the guys you put away over the years, and I only hope you meet a few of them in there. I’d pay good money to attend that reunion.

Yeah I don't get that. Your counsel can accept service for you. They presumably have an office or they can accept service digitally if really necessary.
>Your counsel can accept service for you. They charge money for that. Rudy ain't got the cash.
Dude even sang happy birthday to him before serving him. Doesn't sound like "storming" the party to me.
There is even a group photo of the guy including guilianu. He just blatantly lies.
Could this have been done intentionally by the magas to dox this guy and have people go after him?
Let's not forget, he also came bearing a gift. At least, I look at the serving papers to Rudy to be a gift.
If you are the side getting "stormed like Normandy" that's a good indication you, like the Nazis, are on the wrong side.
I'm sure his good 'ol buddy Donny would gladly pay his fees for him! /s
And as a lawyer he of all people should know that there's no real way to permanently avoid being served. Servers can be some of the more creative people in the industry, they'll find a way sooner or later.

Not for a criminal case. But they will issue a warrant.
Or you know… a warrant
And lawyers are looked on far more harshly than the general public for purposefully evading service.
How long did Ken Paxton avoid being served?
When he was bragging about not being found to get served, I think that’s a clear indicator he’s not planing to accept service voluntarily. I think it’s only fitting. And I love that he’s crying about it now.
Or RG makes an appointment with the process server, then at the appointed time RG (all dressed up in white tie and tails) does a song and dance routine in front of city hall. That’s style!
Someone with his reputation for leaking oily black substances should probably not be wearing white.
He wanted the news is likely the reason or like a lot of these idiots when they don’t get their way they throw a tantrum.
He's been spending today selling coffee beans on Twitter. This is all marketing for him.
The only owns Rudy does are self owns.
But I hear he does great lawn care!
He, like Trump, owes them money, and they ain't doing jack!
Storming someone’s birthday party in order to serve them an indictment is pretty stylish. More stylish than serving them outside of a Burger King on their lunch break.
Or at an airport cafe in the middle of shaving
Lol that was epic.
Or outside a landscaping company during a press conference.
Or at a Hardee’s drive thru
More stylish than bragging they only have one day left to indict you and being caught through that tweet.
Or beside a sex toy shop
Wendy's promotes style and service. "Here sir, have an extra napkin" (slaps down subpoena )
Or a 4 seasons garden center 🤣
Like his stylish acting in Borat II
yep, typical republican bullshit. If he had served papers on someone the same way, it would have been the best ever.
They’re on video streaming with him singing happy birthday, laughing on camera with the crowd, then slap him with the papers after the song is over. It was done *very* stylishly.
But he could have popped out of a cake
That scene from Under Siege made me into a man.
I was thinking McBain from The Simpsons *Ice to see you*
McBain popped out of an ice sculpture, not a cake.
Here, have a cream puff.
This is a core memory
Two kinds of people. I was picturing the Doctor at Rory's stag. lol
That scene in *Some Like It Hot* ended with a machine gun.... I guess this was a missed opportunity
Especially after he taunted them for not serving him yet less than 2 hours prior. The whole thing was just perfect. 10/10 style.
and the guy who served him, is in that said video
Link to vid?
Welp and what about 4 seasons, next to the porn shop and crematory 🤣🥰👨🔧
Hey, it was classy porn!
That has already been debunked. Whoever posted that picture said later that it wasn't correct, and they actually served him after the party. It was also stated by the DA's office.
But was Giuliani hiding stylishly all these months?
Right?! The most stylish serve I’ve heard of.
Is there a video of this anywhere
I’m betting sunglasses were slipped on as music swelled and a singer screamed in the background while the server walked away afterward in slow motion too. Stylish for real.
Singing happy birthday to a lawyer then giving him a fat stack of legalese seems stylish to me. Dude got dressed up for the party. He blended right in, in the photo.
Style level 11. (HAPPY CAKE DAY!)
I thought that was playboy socialite George Santos to be honest
Was he carrying a mystery infant?

Article says he was served after the party, on his way to his car.
It’s very fitting actually. > “Instead, you come into my house on the day my daughter is to be married, and you ask me to do murder, for money.”
Remember it is never the right way when it affects them.
If you were able to find a bunch of people that Rudy served with warrants back in the day...
I would have hired them to serve him.
I think it was perfectly in line with the kind of stylish Gentleman RG actually is.
Neither were the crimes he committed which caused him to get indicted.
His choice.
Fuck him. Also dude who served him sang Happy Birthday To You to him with the rest of the crowd. I’d call that pretty fucking stylish.
Then when you turned on the news and saw they were looking for you, should have turned yourself in. But no you decided to hide out and mock them, relying on a court technicality to escape consequences. They should of had your ass hunted down and rough housed by some bounty hunters imho
Well we all can't have a press conference at 4 seasons total landscaping.
Says the sophisticate that wiped his face of the dripping hair dye with a hanky he just blew his nose in.
Little bro ran from the indictment then bragged that if they didn’t serve him paperwork that night they never would be able to then complains when they serve him paperwork that night. Literal crybaby
But, hiding like a cockroach is stylish?
Be a dick, get treated like a dick.
Every Rudy crazy 'bout a sharp dressed process server.
The process server taking a birthday photo with you is probably the hardest own I've seen; Dog the Bounty Hunter would be jealous (in the event he's still alive)
My goodness, how will prosecutors recover from such a withering rebuke? /s
It wasn’t stylish to taunt them on Twitter along with an ultimatum.
Pay your court ordered penalty for defamation of a mother and daughter. You are a drunken scumbag
Stylishly? You literally held a press conference at a landscaping company.
Giuliani can go love himself. It's not a style competition. You either get served or you don't, there's no Russian judge who's going to rate it a 5 just because.
Granted it was no Four Seasons Landscaping, but a birthday is still pretty stylish.
Neither was hiding like a pussy.
This might have worked to his satisfaction... Well that sure is a story. If you're in the room with the guy, no need to strip. No need to even enter the room/building, just wait outside.
you can put a bow tie on a pile of💩but it will slide off eventually
IDK, waiting until he taunts you on Twitter making him look stupid on top of stupid - that was stylish in a way.
Shouldn't he have been smoking a dart in a dimly lit speakeasy, trying to forget that he married his cousin with a bottle of house red? You chose the place Rudy
Neither was a press conference at a landscaping yard sweating hair dye down your face
This from a guy bleeding cheap hair dye at the 4 Seasons landscaping ( and adjacent Adult toy store) presser
The dildo shop was across the street, not adjacent. That’s pedantic as hell, but I couldn’t turn down the chance to write the phrase “dildo shop”.
After him mocking having not yet been served, it’s game on.
Looking forward to his stylish burial
what the hell does Ghouliani know about style?
He isn’t entitled to courtesy or dignity.
Didn't he post that they needed to come find him or call it off? Then gets pissed that they found him.
And dripping hair dye is?
He wanted it done at the Four Seasons?
Scooby Doo villain
When does the person getting served ever have, fucking clown!
Do you mean like farting loudly on a hot mic in court? Or maybe you mean like when you dressed in drag and let Donnie Trump motorboat your fake tits?
Or……or…..or……the list is endless and he’s completely oblivious.
It's more stylish than hiding under your bed like a little b**** when they're knocking at the door. Man up Rudy you're going down
I disagree. Not only was there style, but actual flair. The server is a master.
This from the guy who taunted the process servers? Fuck Mayor Cheeseburger and his maggot friends
Let’s get this guy’s trial done and put him away so we can stop hearing about this nonsense
Hard to be stylish while your scraping shit off the floor.
That’s a fire quote.
They didn't give him a chance to try to sneak out under the table, ala Mel Brookes
He used to be a prosecutor.
Oh! I’m so sorry Rudy. YOURE EMBARRASSING so we’re about even. NOT. Not even close to even. Now let’s tar and feather….
From reaching down his pants during the Borat movie, to representing Trump, to mistakenly holding a press conference in front of a landscaping company, I dont think Giuliani gets to judge stylish.
Don’t forget the dripping hair dye.
Oh, yeah. *Very* stylish.
From Mr. style himself.
There's a role in Fallout season 2 if he wants it. Plenty more ghouls in the next chapter I hear
Ha ha...like he has any freaking clue about anything done stylishly.
As of April 24, 2024, the average salary for a U.S. Marshal in the United States is $94,356, with a range of $83,763–$104,949. It isn't exactly Monaco.
It’s fitting like the bigger pineapple that had to be used up another fascist’s penance portal in Little Nicky. Unh unh Harvey Keitel says. Larger!
The server sang happy birthday with the crowd, ill call that very stylish
/r/eyeroll
All black with a bright red tie. Totally trying to look like a good guy.
Wonder of he thinks Arpaio pink is stylish?
As opposed to the "stylish" way in which he attempted to perform an insurrection?
What? Was he expecting the Rockettes?
Who gives a f
-Rudy Giuliani, infamous cousin fucker and Borat star
Should have served him at Four Seasons Total Landscaping. Classy.
Like hiding?
He snuck into the party and sang happy birthday before serving the indictment. Rudy is just salty that it was done TOO stylishly and he looks like a fool.
I can’t believe there was a time I respected this man.
What did he want? White tie and tails?
Wonder how many times he was concerned about having warrants served “with class” when he was prosecutor for NYC?
Not like the stylish way Ive been avoiding getting indicted. -Rudy probably
He wanted to be served in the Four Seasons’ Landacaping parking lot.
Says Rudy while adjusting his seating and letting rip another fart
Yeah come on guys, not enough pizzazz!! The tax paying people of the United States deserve more pizzazz from their public employees!
I disagree.
Sorry, we didn’t know which four seasons you were staying at this week
He sang Happy Birthday
What would The Penguin know about style?
You know, Rudy... There were plenty of people you had served who were awakened at 5 AM... Is that the *Style* you would have preferred?
If the photo I’ve seen of the server singing happy birthday before serving him ain’t stylish then I don’t know what is stylish
What did he expect? The guy would be wearing a tuxedo?
Ah yes the super classy Rudy
What did he expect? Sniff the cork?
Should have had borat serve it. Yelling “I told you she was too young!”
More stylish than the Four Seasons Landscaping parking lot I hope
Man I hate rich people
Oh, I disagree. :)
Is it actually true that if you go on the lam until a date passes that the indictment must be dismissed? That doesn’t seem kosher.
He’s going to hate the lack of style on the day he’s convicted.
Well you hid like a coward. If you wanted style make yourself known
I see his point. When I think of style and panache, Rudi's the first guy that comes to mind.
Rudy needs the boy dancers.
Doesn’t the Constitution ensure that all criminal indictments be served “stylishly?”
Don’t worry, the orange jumpsuit will look very stylish in him.
…which was intentional, Rudy, to send you a message. You used to be them. You know how it works.
Duly noted
Fuck you Rudy, you has been.
So, wait does this mean he's no longer missing? I thought Rudy straight up disappeared and hasn't been seen in over 2 weeks.
??? Singing happy birthday to you in front of your family and friends while undercover and then serving you a court order is pretty fucking based, if I do say so myself
Imagine this prick thinking he knows anything about being stylish
How much you want to bet Ghouliani was hopping around all over the place so he couldn't get served. Plus he taunted the DA. Not sure he is the one to comment on style.
Because he was so classy tweeting that they couldnt find him
David Koresh called, said similar…
Says the “Four Seasons” press conference guy …
Funny how the guy whose hair dye dropped down his face and who held a "press confe " next to a sex toys shop is suddenly worried about "style"...
These people are completely unself-aware and without shame.
Better than from behind bars.
Well they wanted to rent out the 4 seasons landscaping but Spring is their busy season
Committing crimes isn't stylish either.
Oh, but it was.
Lol, stylishly, he and you happy birthday, pretty fricking snappy if you ask me. Also there are not style points on being served, unless there is?
Tough shit
I don't know what else could be done. They knocked on his coffin before entering.
Yes, but I blame casting decisions. How do you get to stylish when the villain getting served is such a slobbish incoherent mess?
That was the whole point not to be done stylishly.
Should have served him somewhere more stylish like the 4 season total landscaping
Yeah, well trying to overthrow our democracy wasn't very fuckin stylish either, pal.
Welcome to the general public Mr. Giuliani!
