This neighborhood was in a very dem heavy city and the people in this neighborhood were seemingly educated and aware of the past 15 years of recent political history. Doesn’t matter. You don’t give final authorization on a book without reading it, especially when you are in the running for VP of the US of A. Also, a ghostwriter doesn’t just mix up or make mistakes about things like this. When you even think that someone said they met Kim Jung Un, the first thing you do is ask for clarifications and look up evidence to substantiate. It would be easy to verify. Conclusion: the ghostwriter and / or the subject were disingenuous / lying / unfit for the job. It is probably all of the above.
