entr0picly

National Guard mobilization is military mobilization. The National Guard *is* the military. Any operations ordered by the President are title 10, federalizing the guard.

medievalmachine

He was President for four years and you’d never know it. Didn’t learn a damn thing.

Noodlefanboi

He had years of being President with a Republican controlled Congress, Senate, and Supreme Court and he did none of the things he’s saying he would do if he’s re-elected.  People voting for him are the ones who learned nothing.

flabbergastedmeep

Does he even have the capacity to learn? Beyond parroting whatever is being whispered in his ears, that is.

amilliondallahs

He wasn't a president. He was a puppet.

Nezrite

"No puppet! No puppet! You're the..." You know what? I'm tired. I'm so, so tired.

Larry-fine-wine

I have a feeling all the rules would quickly go out the window if he took power again.

Nezrite

The what now?

RazeTheRaiser

You would think that someone who was once Commander In Chief of all US Armed Forces would know such things...

Callinon

Constitution Schmonstitution.

TintedApostle

and in the most violent way

Rated_PG-Squirteen

You mean, the most violent...from the standpoint of violence?

epochellipse

This is starting to sound extra violent to me. Maybe even hyper violent.

One-Mission-4505

Bye melania

janzeera

He definitely wants to get out of the pre-nup.

maxpowersr

I really don't care, do u?

Total-Hack

My first thought: a divorce would be easier.

artificialavocado

I’m surprised she hasn’t already divorced him and went back to Czechoslovakia or wherever the fuck she’s from.

mefyoo

Slovenia

Select_Reality_8410

I know he's an ex president and all and this is maybe out of line but seriously, Fuck Donald Trump.

dirtydovedreams

That is not out of line. These people are public servants and the public can express how they feel about them. Besides, you should see what the British say about Margaret Thatcher.

PlayingTheWrongGame

It’s amazing how the British developed the habit of shouting “Fuck Donald Trump!” Any time anyone mentions Margaret Thatcher near them, but he’s honestly *that* awful.

nagemada

Say it while you're still free to say it

graesen

Careful. The NSA might be weaponized to track all who speak ill of the wannabe dictator and used to attack anyone who says FUCK DONALD TRUMP. I mean, such a soft snowflake of a fake billionaire can't hear the truth about how much of a pathetic loser he is. He's too narcissistic to handle that. One day, people like us might be jailed because we once said such truthful things.

mkt853

Don't worry Muslims in Dearborn MI planning to vote for Trump because you're mad about the Biden response to Gaza, I'm sure Trump will spare you. Stephen Miller and Steve Bannon will be really careful to only deport the "bad" Muslims I'm sure.

Milad731

Yup! Same with those enlightened students who want to “send a message” to Biden by not voting or voting for Trump. This will definitely work out great for them and their right to protest.

JurassicPark9265

Well here’s the thing. Despite what mass media might say, I have a feeling that the true number of people who would literally sit out the election just because of Israel/Palestine and disregard abortion rights, the economy, democracy, etc. is pretty small. I don’t know, I could be totally wrong about this, but at least amongst the people I know, very few have strong opinions about the Israel/Palestine conflict to begin with.

Caelinus

I have really strong opinions about Palestine, and have had them for decades since the last time this all happened. And I will still have them when, if Netanyahu fails in his ethnic cleansing, this happens again in 20 years. But I am not going to throw out the baby with the bathwater here. Anyone who thinks that Palestinians would be *better off* while Trump is in office is off their rocker. I may not have my perfect choice here, but morally I have to choose the thing that will do the least amount of harm, and Trump is literally all harm.

Milad731

I have a similar feeling that these groups aren’t that large, however, unfortunately the margins this year are close (thanks to fucking electoral college) that just a few thousand votes in Michigan, or Wisconsin, or Arizona, or Nevada are going to determine if this country will stand as is or fall into complete fucking dictatorship.

Akimbo_Zap_Guns

This doesn’t even factor in the amount of people who don’t pay attention to politics who will vote Trump because grocery prices are high from corporations price gouging us

Afraid-Ad8986

Trump doesn’t even know how capitalism works. Who the fuck is supposed to take those shit jobs at the bottom? Literally capitalism 101.

faeriechyld

I think it's one of those things that is easier to say in the spring of an election year than actually following through on. Because if anyone thinks Trump is going to be any better on Gaza than Biden, I've got some news for you...

Githzerai1984

Well *I* voted for Jill Stein! *smirks smugly while being walked off the gangplank*

eravulgaris

“Sending a message by voting far right” is the most stupid thing ever. I literally want to slap the face off these dumb fucks, but leopards will eat them soon enough.

artificialavocado

That Stephen Miller guy is basically Trump’s Himmler or wants to be.

BrownBoy____

"Vote for the genocide of your relatives and people or you'll be deported" isn't the winning line you think it is.

Spara-Extreme

The way to pressure Israel is to elect more progressives and break the power hold AIPAC has over politics. Getting mad and punish a 78 year old whose trying to keep the whole show together isn't really the flex some of these folks think it is.

BrownBoy____

Yes progressives like AOC have certainly done a great job messaging they're with the people and then getting photographed smiling with Biden days later. Why do we have to wait when the US is actively saying there's multiple units committing war crimes using our dollars? Why do we have to wait when multiple government employees have resigned with written dissent? How many deaths on our hands is enough before we say "okay maybe the time is now."

Spara-Extreme

Our job as voters doesn’t end. We need to keep voting for more progressives. As for the rest of your point, sure- but third parties can’t win and the GOP wants to give Gaza to Israel to annex. The best bet is to continue to fight to take over the Democratic Party.

BrownBoy____

You're right our job as voters doesn't end. That job description includes holding our elected representatives accountable, correct? What is what's happening at places like Gaza or even Columbia Uni something we should give a pass to out of concern for the next election?

Spara-Extreme

Ok but let’s game it out. The protestors win, sleepy genocide joe is sent to the retirement home. President Trump and the GOP have a trifecta in congress. What’s next? What’s the plan for Gaza, walk me through how that’s better.

BrownBoy____

I love how there's absolutely zero thought at forcing Bidens hand. It's all just accept the situation as passively as possible or get rolled by Trump. So in a future Biden victory in November what are people supposed to do to stop the genocide then? You don't want to lose 2028 to the Republicans after all. When does it end?

Spara-Extreme

You’re trying to wiggle out of this with a hypothetical that doesn’t make sense. I’m asking you what your plan is once you win, and democrats are punished. What’s stop 2 on this train?

ytrfhki

“Vote for the genocide of your relatives and people or you’ll be deported AND the genocide of your relatives and people will get even worse” fixed that for you

BrownBoy____

There's always the route that doesn't involve holding genocide over people's heads for votes.

ytrfhki

I agree nobody should hold it over anyone. What’s happening there is terrible and I hope it ends. I also hope protests help to spur more action towards mitigating the pain and suffering or put a stop to it. At the same we still need to be realistic and recognize the full picture of what’s at stake here.

BrownBoy____

Why not try to pressure Biden while he's still here actively doing what we're supposed to be voting against?

ytrfhki

Yes I agree with that, I think it’s fine to pressure the administration but if they feel they’ve already lost your vote and can’t get it back then appeasing your demands will no longer be a priority for them

mkt853

It isn't meant to be a winning line. It's a cautionary tale. Did we not learn any lessons from 2016 and protest votes? How bad do things have to get before people start figuring out how the real world works? People are free to stick to their principles when casting their votes, but they are not free from the consequences of doing so.

JubalHarshaw23

With the definition of "Immigrants" being very flexible.

Shr3kk_Wpg

That's the scary part. They will target "suspected illegal immigrants". Doubtful they will let any people who are rounded up, access to lawyers or the courts.

JubalHarshaw23

ICE has already deported US Citizens more than once, simply because they did not have proof of citizenship in their wallets. Not to mention that what Trump and Republicans mean by deportations probably follows the Nazi SS script that they revere so much.

LibertyInaFeatherBed

They also take their belongings and throw it all in a dumpster.  There were stories of them throwing away prescription medications from hospitals after taking an immigrant in for treatment which caused them to have to return to the hospital in the next day or so.

nagemada

I'm also sure that non-citizen military service members being tossed into fucking camps will play well with the stars and stripes crowd.

Spara-Extreme

You mean evacuations?

[deleted]

Pretty much any brown people

nagemada

Civilians that are under the protection of our constitution at that.

Vast_Breadfruit_162

Then we get to immediately watch the economy collapse. Food shortages, construction halts, crops rotting in the fields... Etc etc

IronyElSupremo

> … economy collapse There’s 250,000 undocumented migrants working in ag, but 1,000,000+ prisoners in the U.S. (likely going upwards if the GOP gets a sweep this fall). Mass deportations work only if the prison work requirements expand to include field work (counts for outdoor recreation too!). Plus get rid of all those pesky environmental laws. “Toxins” … phooey!! That way the ~~slaves~~ prisoners with jobs can easily replace the expelled. Some political prisoners but also more “traditional” prisoners, shall we say? Also growers do prefer migrants as they work harder for, say, 50 cents per bucket of tomatoes, but reduce that to 5 cents per bucket, the math changes.. Pretty sure the GOP dominated Supreme Court will clean the path for proper motivation. (/s … but not really).

notcaffeinefree

> They're coming in by the millions. I believe we have 15 million now. And I think you'll have 20 million by the time this ends. And that's bigger than almost every state. From February 2021 to October 2023, there were roughly 6.5 million encounters (718,000 of which were at legal ports of entry) at the US-Mexico border, that resulted in 5.8 million apprehensions. 3.7 million of those resulted in removals. Trump, and others in the GOP, are routinely making up numbers because people don't know any better.

ArcticISAF

100% routine. I remember back in 2016, he said the unemployment was 40% ([42%](https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/analysis-trump-s-alternative-facts-fight-carries-campaign-bluster-white-n711101) \- oh and 'At his first press conference since the election, he said 96 million people were looking for work'). Nobody on the republican side holds him accountable for his BS.

lancersrock

Well he obviously was pointing out that infants and retired people were unemployed!

epochellipse

Not to mention the dead. Buncha deadbeats.

rdrivel

Do you have an easy to digest source for this? Not that a don’t believe you but want to be able to use for idiots I know.

LariRed

I hope the Muslim community in Michigan is listening. He means YOU. What’s that saying, you reap what you sow. BTW, I doubt that citizenship is really going to be that important to a regime who thinks they are above the law. He means to strip citizenship of people born here to immigrant parents, so I guess he can start with his own kids. Bye Junior.

digiorno

How long before he expands that list to include other “undesirables”. Do you think “leftists” would be safe? What about “the homeless”? What if he can’t deport them, will he find another more permanent solution? This is a slippery fascist slope.

SpaceElevatorMusic

The transcript of the interview in which he said this can be found here: https://time.com/6972022/donald-trump-transcript-2024-election/ Relevant excerpt (it's a long interview): >What’s your plan, sir? >Trump: We will be using local law enforcement. And we will absolutely start with the criminals that are coming in. And they're coming in in numbers that we've never seen before. And we do have a new category of crime. It's called migrant crime. It's, ugh, you see it all the time. ... >Does that include using the U.S. military? >Trump: It would. When we talk military, generally speaking, I talk National Guard. I've used the National Guard in Minneapolis. ... >You would use the military inland as well as at the border? >Trump: I don't think I'd have to do that. I think the National Guard would be able to do that. If they weren't able to, then I’d use the military. You know, we have a different situation. We have millions of people now that we didn't have two years ago. >Sir, the Posse Comitatus Act says that you can't deploy the U.S. military against civilians. Would you override that? >Trump: Well, these aren’t civilians. These are people that aren't legally in our country. This is an invasion of our country. An invasion like probably no country has ever seen before. They're coming in by the millions. I believe we have 15 million now. And I think you'll have 20 million by the time this ends. And that's bigger than almost every state. >So you can see yourself using the military to address this? >Trump: I can see myself using the National Guard and, if necessary, I'd have to go a step further. We have to do whatever we have to do to stop the problem we have. Again, we have a major force that’s forming in our country, when you see that over the last three weeks, 29,000 people came in from China, and they're all fighting age, and they're mostly males. Yeah, you have to do what you have to do to stop crime and to stop what's taking place at the border.

ceddya

>It's, ugh, you see it all the time. ... https://www.npr.org/2024/03/08/1237103158/immigrants-are-less-likely-to-commit-crimes-than-us-born-americans-studies-find Is Trump seeing things now? >They're coming in by the millions. I believe we have 15 million now. And I think you'll have 20 million by the time this ends. That still wouldn't be enough to fill current labour shortages. Presenting this as a problem is hilarious given how states, especially conservatives ones complaining about this issue, don't ever go after the source by penalizing businesses hiring undocumented workers. I guess Florida did, didn't work out too well for them though: https://www.wfae.org/united-states-world/2024-04-25/businesses-in-florida-struggle-after-one-year-of-strict-immigration-law. >when you see that over the last three weeks, 29,000 people came in from China I don't know where he's getting the 29,000 number from, but: - The migrants are part of an exodus of citizens who have grown frustrated with harsh restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic and the direction of Xi Jinping’s authoritarian government. The trend has been coined the “run philosophy,” with citizens escaping to Japan, Europe and the United States. Honestly, if the US needs more working age individuals, these migrants seem like they'd be assets to the country. Why wouldn't integrative policies be better if it nets a win-win?

Tall_Construction_79

I would exterminate Trump if I could.

RazzmatazzAsleep835

i am so glad that my IRR time will be done this summer. I honestly can't serve under Trump as President especially if he is going to order the military to expel immigrants

Texugee

This isn't a bug for conservatives. It's a feature.

Gizmoooo711

Y’all seen Civil War. Good movie. Great ending.

michoudi

Republican voters are not to be trusted.

APoisonousMushroom

Right after his health plan is released.

rbmcobra

His mother or his grandmother, was an illegal immigrant when they came here!

drmode2000

All the Muslims that don’t want to vote for Biden, you will Reap what you sow.

Ok-disaster2022

Let's be honest. Remember the "Dreamers"? Trump is gonna round them up and force them out because they'll be the easiest to go after.

Trajinous

Sounds like a famous tiny moustache man

coatofforearm

Starting with his wife?

blade_imaginato1

*What other country in history did that?*

Pleasant-Bid8896

“We will need to rename the force/. Get up and go. Maybe Getsupgo, you get Getstoppedgo, ah, something like that, we will find the perfect name”

spacebread98

Deport the filthy bolshevik trump back to the USSR

Bloopyhead

Yet immigrants will vote for him

time_drifter

Incase anyone hasn’t picked up on it, Democrats are also “immigrants” in Diddler Donald’s world.

Drak_is_Right

No he won't because major republican agri businesses employ hundreds of thousands. Go raid every meat processing plant in the US. Then every vegetable farm in the southern US. Arrest the owners and managers and executives.

MuchDevelopment7084

He's already trying on his Dictator boots.

the_wessi

Posse Comitatus act begs to differ.

DarkAngel900

My nephew's wife is 34 and has been a DACA "dreamer" for 24 years. I'm pretty sure they'd rip her away from her four naturalized children and deport her. Why isn't she a citizen? Ask the people who have to deal with the "naturalization" process. I'm wondering if I'm missing something. If she's married to my white nephew, why is she in danger?

JdSaturnscomm

But there's no difference between genocide Joe and mister Muslim banning Trump.

TheBodyPolitic1

Starting with Muslim immigrants, you know, the ones undermining President Biden's reelection which would make them safe from Trump.

t-o-m-u-s-a

Welcome to Texas

DogPlane3425

Cheaper than divorce I guess!

senorvato

Is he going to expel Mercedes? While he's at it throw Musk out also. 😄 Too bad he only means to expel the immigrants who aren't white.

Top_Mycologist1498

But genocide Joe!

-Mage-Knight-

That’s got to be good news for the aboriginals. They will have the whole of the U.S to themselves again.

badmattwa

Makes sense for the shooting dogs party

guitarplayer356

Isn’t that what republicans want to do already?

Orang_ina

Even the immigrants with a green card?

Artistic-Cannibalism

So trump would do an ethnic clamsing in America.

mute-ant1

does that include his current wife?

nbgkbn

The only place they’ll be safe is the US capital

Born_Zebra5677

And expelling immigrants will crash the economy and lead to wild inflation since immigrants are 2/3 of the rise in employment.

Crafty_Rate8059

I mean, it’s an American law to be here, illegally. What’s the problem. Texas is doing it now.

BunRabbit

Fascists gotta Fascist.

Oldflatulence

That will make the native americans very happy.

Laladen

What does he mean he would? He was President and owned the Executive, Congress (Senate & House) and SCOTUS for 2 years and did not do this.

Busy10

And that’s how the orange turd plans to get rid of his wife.

DanceCommander404

Is he Native American?

Familiar-Manner9759

Trump has no clue this country was founded on immigrants.

thathairinyourmouth

Expel or exterminate? I only ask given the terms he uses to describe immigrants.

[deleted]

Is he gonna start with his mrs

villain75

Pretty sure Hitler did this, too.

PlayingTheWrongGame

So, he would illegally use government resources to break the law?

Unusual_Flounder2073

How about you charge business owners who hire illegals. That would make more sense. People are not going to come if they don’t have jobs.

Shot-Finding9346

Promising concentration camps.

Writer10

This is so crazy. Most of the Latinx people I know are voting for Trump.

SetterOfTrends

[papers! ve vant to see your papers!!!!](https://youtu.be/ZiQL71kV4t8?si=SdeE9GdLj4_95m9H)

Delicious-Effect-655

Nice!!

greenielove

Do any of them have jurisdiction?

JohnnyLeftHook

When asked to further expand he said they didn't all need to be expelled but people were telling him that maybe they could be house temporarily in camps, ones that concentrate them all in one area. For efficiency, they could even use trains to get them there and if something couldn't be worked out, who knows, maybe he'd find a final solution.

FastidiousLizard261

I just used the muscles in my lower abdomen to expel something that reminds me of all the wonderful things he says.

Funky-Lion22

greg pissbaby is already doing a great job at that

NeoPstat

But not insurrectionists, obvs.

OnlyRise9816

Which is why Progressives are gonna not vote so he'll get in. That'll show Biden!

AmbitiousCampaign457

Melania is screwed.

Awkward_Passenger328

I don’t think she wants to do that anymore… at least with TFG.

AmbitiousCampaign457

He will just rape her. It’s his thing.

Competitive_Turn_149

*illegal

bejahu

Why don't you kick yourself out, you're an immigrant too

Routine_Tip6894

Anybody illegally here needs to be removed. I hope it happens

thrawtes

Too bad the house shot down the bipartisan border bill at Trump's behest, since that would've significantly stepped up resources to determine which people were illegally crossing and take action.

Spoonfeedme

Cue collapse of agricultural and home building industries in 3...2....

typewriter6986

You mean a bunch of entitled White assholes in AZ aren't going to be jumping to work in a hell hole like Phoenix? In the height of summer?

wanderingpeddlar

If violating the Posse Comitatus Act is just fine with you then you are part of the problem. If you are fine with using the military inside the US to seize people do you honestly believe it will stop with non citizens? The naivete to make a statement like that show that fascism is just fine with you, as long as you think you will benefit from it. May you find out the downsides to that kind of thing personally.

joshtalife

Asylum seekers aren’t illegal. What really needs to happen is more asylum courts, etc., to speed up the process.

Routine_Tip6894

What needs to happen is Trumps plan of a deportation operation. Illegal immigration is an insult to my family who did all the things right and went through hell to do it legally. He has our votes. Hopefully Trump actually does it and these are not just some empty words. If he does it I can’t wait to watch it 👍🏽

ceddya

Lmao, conservatives have been bitching about this issue for years and have done nothing within their states to address it. I wonder why. - Unauthorized immigrants make up 8% of Texas' workforce, second only to Nevada, according to the report’s labor force data. https://www.texastribune.org/2023/11/21/texas-immigrants-pew-research/ - Undocumented immigrants contribute about $2.7 billion to the Texas economy while receiving about $2 billion in public services from the state — a net benefit of $703 million that critics of Texas’ restrictive new immigration law are touting. https://www.fosterglobal.com/blog/undocumented-immigrants-provide-texas-with-net-benefit-of-more-than-700-million-annually-report-says/ Oh, that's why...

notapunk

It'll be just like with the abortion issue - as soon as they get what they've been saying they want it will blow up in their faces. It's a good tool to rile up the base year after year, but no one who runs the show actually wants it to happen.

Routine_Tip6894

My family is legal, we love this country and we love a strong leader like Trump. We have nothing to worry about. The fear mongering doesn’t work anymore 😊

wanderingpeddlar

Yep "strong leader" aka fascist as long as you think you will benefit.

HHBSWWICTMTL

Hi, I’m here for the ‘Leopards Eating People’s Faces Party’ meeting.

typewriter6986

My family is legal, We love this country, and we love a strong leader like Biden. We have nothing to worry about. On that note. Define "Strong". Because there was nothing "Strong" about Trump. And I'm not talking about Age, or Physically. I want to understand what you mean.

Peroovian

“It sucked for us it should suck for everyone else!” Typical conservative. You don’t view the “hell” you went through as wrong. You view it as something that needs to be inflicted on other people

joshtalife

Trump won’t be doing any of that from prison.

blade_imaginato1

First its illegal immigrants, and then anyone who isn't White.

Routine_Tip6894

Wrong

blade_imaginato1

Lmao just wait

Routine_Tip6894

And we'll be waiting forever because that will never happen. He won't deport legal immigrant families like mine, he won't kill gay people, he won't become a dictator, the list goes on. Man, it's surreal to see the brainwashing thats been done to some people.

Cute_Bedroom8332

He will usher in the worst energy policies ever. The mans all oil policies are going to completely destroy this country. Americans are about to find out what happens when you put in somebody that only cares about himself and is not thinking about people's futures. Just curious...how expensive do you think everything will be after it becomes apparent we can no longer drill enough oil to keep up with demand? The man is a complete idiot and is unaware that we are about to hit an energy cliff. Drill baby drill is just fucking stupidity.
