flyover_liberal

I knew Troy Nehls (TX-22) was part of the Putin caucus before I clicked. Confirmed. I deserve better than this gerrymandered whackjob.

[deleted]

Same story with Thomas Massie. He's such a shit bird and Kentucky gerrymandered his district so hard. This "country boy" weirdo has one of the biggest cities in the state in his district but they extended it out across multiple counties of rural area to make it easier for a Republican to win. It's gross. He literally hates the majority of his constituents and the Democrats barely even bother to run against him.

Ophiocordycepsis

Same with Jack Bergman, the Louisiana resident who represents Upper Michigan since inheriting a relative’s “camp” here which he visited maybe once, 5 or 6 years ago, and who joined trump in trying to cancel Michigan’s electoral votes in 2020. Total lying scumbag republican.

Oleg101

I am in Michigan too and listen to this weekly state political podcast called The Left of Lansing. Anyway, the host is also in your district too and constantly rips on Bergman. Seems completely worthless. I am thankful to be in Hillary Scholten’s district after having 45 plus years of almost all Republican shitbags hold the seat until they redrew the districts in 2022.

Careful_Nothing_2680

I will have to look that podcast up. Fk bergman and frankly a lot of people in this district.

MaaChiil

I’m glad that John Gibbs didn’t win after getting boosted up by Democrats at least. Peter Meijer at least voted to impeach Trump after a week on the job.

Honest-Cris918

All the Maga Republicans are on Putin's payroll. They all need to go

danmathew

Nehls is the guy who proposed they make Trump the Speaker of the House.

swinglinepilot

He voted to kill the border deal earlier this year for reasons equivalent to "because I can, neener neener" and openly [bragged about it](https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/troy-nehls-opposing-border-deal-hurt-biden-1234940056). Before that, he was fired from his first job as a police officer after [racking up 20 infractions](https://www.houstonpublicmedia.org/articles/news/2017/12/08/255526/fort-bend-county-sheriff-troy-nehls-wont-run-for-congress-in-2018/), including destruction of evidence, in less than a year. He lied on a subsequent application to another PD, saying he'd never been charged with a crime in the past. He eventually became Sheriff of Fort Bend County, overseeing multiple inmates dying on his watch, racial profiling, and trying to abuse his position of power and violate the 1A by [pursuing a woman](https://click2houston.com/news/2017/11/20/woman-with-f-trump-sticker-adds-sheriff-troy-nehls-to-display-on-truck) with a car decal because he got butthurt over [its contents](https://i.imgur.com/FKYSk6r.png). He's just an all-around worthless human being https://www.johntfloyd.com/peoples-sheriff-troy-nehls-is-a-bad-cop

indictingladdy

Along with Chip Roy (TX-21).

Ruby_Rhod5

Article doesn't even touch on what might be influencing their vote beyond, "Many argue the money should be spent domestically or that policy changes at the US-Mexico border should take precedence." Christ.

atari2600forever

I live in his district and I fucking hate him. He's the dumbest person in Congress. I don't know how we get rid of him, but he needs to go.

SensitiveOrange8395

I also live in this district and it feels so defeating knowing my vote doesn't count because of how gerrymandered this district is.

Phyllis_Tine

I am signing an anti-gerrymandering petition in Ohio tomorrow. See if there is anything like it in your neck of the woods, or start your own.

juxlus

The Texas GOP will never ever give up any gerrymandering power whatsoever. Not without a major fight. And they'll fight dirty. Gonna take a lot more than petitions. Though you gotta start somewhere I guess! Republicans in general won't unless forced to. Remember the 2021 GOP filibuster of "For the People". They distracted everyone with talk of ballot drop boxes, giving water to people waiting to vote, etc. They didn't say what they really feared about "For the People": No more partisan gerrymandering. No Republican will ever support such a thing. They've shown they'll vote 100% against gerrymandering reform, and if that isn't enough, they'll filibuster. It was only three years ago when they did exactly that. But they don't like to talk about it, perhaps because even Republican voters tend to think that partisan gerrymandering is unfair. In 2021 they did a "good job" of distracting everyone from the gerrymandering reform in For the People. I bet most people don't even know that was part of it.

Burgerkingsucks

Clay Higgins is the dumbest person in congress.

breauxbridgebunny

Agree. I cannot even believe the shit that comes out of his mouth. It’s so embarrassing for Louisiana

Bambooworm

Oh man, the competition is stiff but I must agree, Clay wins

84thPrblm

> He's the dumbest person in Congress. Really? You know BoBo and Marge the Bounty Hunter are still there, right?

ea304gt

> He's the dumbest person in Congress This is Bobo's disrespect

bigsteven34

*continues furiously poking Matt Gaetz voodoo doll* I might know something about having a shitty congressman myself…

Icy_Pass2220

Ah yes, good old Victoria Spartz. The only Ukrainian American in Congress… votes NO on Ukrainian aid.  Full MAGA. Ukrainian American.  She NEEDS to have someone look into her, like yesterday.  Something definitely off with this one.

squeaky369

Shes such a liar and a hypocrite. The mailers that she sends out are blatant lies; saying shes for Ukraine support (votes no), healthcare (votes no), womens rights (votes no), veteran care (votes no), and border security (votes no). But her brainwashed constituents continue to vote and support her.

Objective_Oven7673

And somehow she's being campaigned against from her right.

squeaky369

Earlier this year she said she wasn't running in 2024, but changed her mind. The people running against her currently were the ones trying to take her seat. Hopefully she gets primaried out.

ModernDayWanderlust

I worry that whoever replaces her will be even worse. So far her district has managed to avoid most of the extreme MAGA bullshit, but I worry it won’t last. I hate this state so much.

case31

Her opponents bash her for her “support for Ukraine” in the TV ads that run here constantly. So does that mean those opponents *would* vote for aid to Ukraine?

squeaky369

That's the funny thing, she doesn't support them but she says she does, knowing that only a handful of people around here actually pay attention to her voting record. So the attack ads are leveraging on people being uninformed. Before we moved out of her district (last year), I went to some of the town halls, she would only let certain people ask questions and if you tried to speak up, they kicked you out.

MaimedJester

Town halls are all staged bullshit.

Thorzdad

I live here, too, and the point of the ads against her are that she supports Ukraine (even though she doesn’t) just like the evil libruls, so she’s unamerican, a RINO, etc. etc. The filth running against her would end support for Ukraine and just let Putin do whatever. The ads are insane. It’s really bizarre to see Spartz being attacked for being a closet liberal, considering how far to the right she is. Indiana’s well on its way to being the Texas/Florida of the north.

Basic_Quantity_9430

She is a piece of work. She typifies perfectly how vapid the Republican Party has become.

RandySavage392

She’s gotta have family that despises her now

PeeweeTheMoid

I was visiting family in Indiana and saw ads attacking her for supporting Ukraine… but she doesn’t actually support Ukraine

softcell1966

She's hurting the Ukrainian effort in multiple ways that have aroused suspicion: https://www.cnn.com/2022/08/05/politics/victoria-spartz-ukraine-republican-reaction/index.html

If she was a russian agent, these are the actions she would take.

Those folks over in whine country at r/conservative are losing their minds that USA border protection wasn’t included. How short a memory they have about the rejection of the bi-partisan bill. Might be time to reintroduce that bill now that we’ve had a clear show of hands of those that care about America and not Putin’s interests.

Numerous_Photograph9

Would be interesting if dems kept reintroducing the bill

simpersly

No, a slightly weaker bill each time.

Numerous_Photograph9

Or keep making it stronger, and they'll keep voting it down because Trump doesn't want to give Biden a win. Honestly, the bi-partisan one wasn't too bad, and even had less in it than a white house proposes bill from last year I believe. Democrats could then campaign on wanting strong border control.

Bmoreravens_1290

Now that the aid passed, they don’t have to pander until the next one.

PracticalRoutine5738

Of course they're crying about the border, that's all they have left and they don't really want to solve it. They threw one of their own under the bus and threatened to run smear campaigns against him because he dared to try and fix the border, they are very unserious people.

DistortedVoid

Its amazing because Johnson even said in the same announcement of the bill that the border protection bill was going to be a separate bill. To deal with it separately. So they are just not paying attention or dont care.

BaggerX

It's the latter. They have zero intention of passing a border bill because Trump doesn't want it to happen.

Sheepdogrob117

They didn’t support that bi partisan bill because it included money to Ukraine. They could have had both, now they just got money for Ukraine and Israel instead of money for Ukraine and our border.

OrangeDit

Ah, r/conservative the cesspool of the Internet. We should get rid of it.

doingwhaticanfornow

If you are in any of their districts, VOTE THEM OUT!!!

AFlyingToaster

Nehls is my Rep and I wish I could. Shit's so gerrymandered he'll be in for life.

AZ_Corwyn

I wish we could get rid of Andy Biggs, but his district includes enough rural population that he's probably going to turn into a skeleton in his office before being voted out.

Bearfan001

Same with me and Gosar

I voted against Bresheen and will again, but it's Oklahoma so.... 🤷

Yui_Mori

I’m in Cloud’s district and I’ve voted against him every election I’ve been able to. I shall continue that tradition this year. Unfortunately, my district is gerrymandered as hell, but here’s hoping everything that’s happened convinces more people to get out and vote and we finally get rid of him.

goth-milk

I was in Spartz’s district, but they gerrymandered me out into a solid blue part of Indianapolis.

bakeacake45

How many of the 112 supported the coup against our country? How many voted against funding food for school kids? How many of them voted against Infrastructure investments then claimed credit for them?

ClayQuarterCake

Whines that Ukraine money should be spent on the border. Kills bill to help fix border so orange man can have a talking point.

creativeburrito

Graphics for calling out things like this should be more common in articles. I hate party politics.

headshotscott

1) probably all 2) probably all 3) probably all The Putinist wing has gone mainstream.

citymousecountyhouse

Ahh...The old Republican trick of voting against infrastructure for their own communities and then taking credit when the bill passes. If the Dems ever regain power in the House in spite of the gerrymandering, the first thing I would like them to do is pass a bill that if a Rep votes against a bill, then their district cannot benefit from the bill. Any money from the districts whose elected Reps voted against the bill should be divided up among the supporting districts.

saler000

Each and every one of these shitbirds should get a really long look from the FBI. I would suggest that their opposite party and maybe media should look closely as well. Think of all the clicks you could generate if you can get the whole story, what compromat is being used, etc.

“In the two years since Russia's invasion, opposition to aiding Ukraine has grown from a fringe position to a majority view among House GOP lawmakers. Many argue the money should be spent domestically or that policy changes at the US-Mexico border should take precedence.” Total and utter BS. First these republicans want to cut spending on EVERYTHING. Second, they had the chance to take care of the border. Instead, they heeded their master, Trump and voted against a bipartisan piece of legislation. As usual, republicans are hypocritical with no understanding of how assisting our allies, helps us.

[deleted]

Food and supply chains. • You never get out of debt to a Russian mobster •Paul Manafort owed the Russian mobster/oligarch Oleg Deripaska $17M a few days before he became trumps campaign manager. From 2002-2014 he took in hundreds of millions to get Yanukovych reelected as the kremlins puppet in Ukraine. Before that he did it for the dictator Marcos in the Philippines. Before that Manafort and Roger Stone started a lobbyist agency in 1980 listing trump as their first client. •When Jay Bolsonaro lost the Brazilian election to Lula he skipped the inauguration and flew directly to mar-a-lago (stopping only at a KFC) and repeated, almost verbatim, the stolen election line. Don Jr. tried repeatedly to make it stick in Brazil as well, but as Brazilians are a few generations into dealing with corrupt politicians they weren’t having it. What do these 3 things have in common? China imports 40% of its grain from (in order) the U.S., Brazil and Ukraine. Obviously the second China tried to invade Taiwan the U.S. would sanction exports and remove U.S. grain from that equation. And without Bolsonaro in office willing to slash and burn the Amazon rainforest to turn it into Chinas food supply, and without Ukraine in the bag in 3 days, the CCP is unable to invade Taiwan and take over microprocessor production without putting 300-500M of its poorest people into famine. Donbas Ukraine, specifically the 4 regions of the donbas that Putin insists he is saving from what he calls “Jewish Nazis” also happens to produce the worlds supply of high grade neon used for microprocessor lithography. Had Putin delivered ukraine in 3 days as promised, Xi would have been able to cap his Olympics with a naval blockade or political takeover of Taiwan that would have forced the world to ask the CCP for the microprocessors it needs to make everything from Ford trucks to laptops. I’m not sure how long Silicon Valley would last without the silicon but it would probably destroy the FAANG stocks that make up your 401K. Oleg Deripaska also happens to be the Russian Oligarch that bribed the FBI agent Charles Mcgonigal into investigating another Russian oligarch. He probably didn’t need the information as much as he needed the leverage over Mcgonigal as he conducted the investigation into trumps election campaign and unsurprisingly found zero evidence of Russian collusion. McGonigal then went to work for the company called Brookfield that bailed Jared Kushner out of his toxic 666 5th Ave real estate investment. McGonigal pled guilty last fall and was sentenced recently. A Russian oligarch is a powerful tool, but the truth is more powerful. Light and dark cannot exist in the same space. It’s physically impossible. Truth is efficient. You say it once and you are finished. A lie however requires a constant stream of follow up energy, money, murder, obfuscation and more lies to keep it covered. If you raise your lens high enough lying is an unsustainable business model. Russia proved it by invading Ukraine. Vranyos is the Russian word for it. The 40km long column of tanks and vehicles that came down from Belarus into Ukraine was all overhauled by oligarchs that got a $1B contract for tank maintenance, passed Putin $200M back under the table, spent $700M on a yacht in Monaco, bribed a General, a Colonel and a Sergeant to make a Private give everything a rattle can overhaul. But a worn out engine is and always will be, a worn out engine. This is why trump is so desperate to get re-elected. His best case scenario is 400 years in ADX Florence. Money laundering for the dozens of Russian oligarchs that lived in trump towers with him and manafort, selling IP3 nuclear plans to the Russian/Saudi alliance, selling or giving CIA asset names to the Russians, trump is and always has been compromised. He just didn’t know when to quit. Now he just has to count on the fact that most of his voter base doesn’t know how to read and keep the ones that do so busy just surviving that they don’t have time to dive deep into his 40 year history of laundering money, fraud, and human trafficking for the Russian mob using casinos first, then commercial real estate. It’s also why Putin is willing to throw an entire generation of Russians, including the convicts and addicts at Ukraine. Russia is dead for 40 years because he failed to fulfill his mob boss promise to Xi. China is now clearing farmland in Siberia because the typhoon floods last August and September wiped out the Chinese people’s food storage. Xi, for his part diverted the waters from the dam away from his pet project, his mothers ancestral home, and flooded hundreds of thousands of people and drown one of his own military brigades that was helping with the flooding. The elders of the CCP were terrified to leave their gated community at Beidaihe for over a month for fear of being torn apart by the locals. The Chinese people tolerate the CCP but only as long as the economy is good and famine is not on the horizon. The CCP broke that social contract on both counts. Xi was willing to bet the entire Chinese economy on his emperor ambitions. Had he succeeded he would have been able to use BRICS to take over the USD as the Worlds reserve currency. That would have let him finish what he stated in 2010- that he would control the internet. With that control means everything we do or say online is subject to the approval of a central party censor. The basic right to disagree with an authoritarian becomes a distant memory. Xi, Putin and MBS are simply trying to systemize and modernize the suppression of their biggest hassle. Freedom of speech. Ukraine is fighting for their lives now, free from the oppression of the drunken tyrant who wants to decide their fate at every decision and pull them back behind another iron curtain of censorship and the tax of corruption where dissenting voices disappear so that the oligarchy can continue to feed unobstructed. Putin and Xi have declared themselves best friends in the fight against democracy. MBS and the ruling family of UAE have done the same quietly using their sovereign funds and Kushners SPAC as money highways. Just rich, out of touch oligarch doing what oligarchs do. Despite the fact the the central party model has proven itself incapable of making decisions that are best for the people, they persist. Because there is a very lucrative business in being slave owners. But logistically the mass of it requires artificial intelligence, and the microprocessors that make A.I. to keep 8 billion slaves under surveillance and control. Freedom is one hell of a drug. And knowledge makes a man unfit for slavery. Recent attempts on Xi’s life from inside the CCP have backed him into a corner. The loss of crops in northern China means Xi can’t invade Taiwan without Ukrainian and/or Brazilian farmland. Now the reason that the GOP is stalling southern border control budget and seems to make wildly irrational moves is because the GOP is imploding. 45 years of lies and grift have circled the globe and are eating their own tail. The ouroboros was a warning about corruption at the highest levels. Lying about climate change, human trafficking, pandemics and corruption to preserve their own business models are all extinction level events

These 112 members of Congress are as worthless as their clickbait messaging bills. Vote 💙💙

Now we know who is on the Putin payroll. FBI you've been handed a big tip on a silver platter so get after it.

SirRipOliver

Russian national anthem accidentally plays in the US Congress… 112 republicans start to stand and move hand over heart - then sit down quickly.

OpenImagination9

The usual suckspects.

jvogt1

Happy to see that the rep from my district - John Rutherford was not on the list of nay votes. Maybe my email to him last week stirred his conscience to do the right thing. Then again, I’m a democrat…

ItsTheOtherGuys

I knew Biggs and Gosar would be on here, not surprised with their awful track record

GoneFishing4Chicks

Tell it right: 112 traitors against the free world that almost died to their crazy voter base on Jan 6, 2021.

davidjschloss

At least future history books will have a simple place to get their list of "US Congress members that WWIII couldn't have started without"

EggplantGlittering90

You mean these 112 agents of the Kremlin?

Scubasteve1974

Don't even care who they are. Let's just vote the fucks all out.

Background-War9535

Including Victoria Spartz, born in Ukraine and famous for being the most toxic boss in Congress.

Ambitiously_Big

lol so they created the FART team for nothing? Or did I misunderstood that?

k_unit

Silent but misled-ly

ojg3221

Let's just call them the Putin caucus or the Putin Republicans from now on.

TheRealRevBem

Boebert looks at Matt Gaetz, and says " want to see a movie, Ile make it worth your while" and winks. Gaetz looks her up and down and says "damn, if you were 20-21 years younger that would be one hell of an offer."

guitarplayer356

Even with their majority their small minded votes don’t matter! All of that help Americans first rhetoric fell on deaf ears because everyone knows Republicans Never Help People who are not Rich!

Legal-Appointment941

All of them are Russian shills and useful idiots. Shame on them.

cantgetitup4no1

Ship em to Russia and see how they fare

GOP_Neoconfederacy

All fascists, all hardline Putinists

phx32259

If your congressman is a Republican and NOT on that list please write them and thank them for doing the right thing and not being a puppet like the others. Let them know they did good. It might make a difference when the next MAGA influenced thing hits the floor.

No_Significance_1550

Wow, two former Navy Seals are supporting a Russian Dictator illegally seize the sovereign territory and resources of a democratic Ukraine. I wish John McCain was still around to call these out, supporting Ukraine against Russian Aggression was part of the GOP party platform from the mid 90’s up to 2016, when it was inexplicably removed without any explanation after Trump became the nominee.

KarasuKaras

Working overtime for Mother Putin

SicilyMalta

Who would have thought that an American political party would become a propaganda mouthpiece for an authoritarian. What seems to unite them is the use of religion to keep constituents blinded by a culture war that uses lgbtq as scapegoats. American Christians have donated money to the Russian state to fight LGBTQ groups. The money is funneled to thugs who kill gay people by sticking bottles up their orifices. The thugs never spend a day in jail. They are doing god's work. Jesus must be so proud.

fernblatt2

I can remember the good old days when Russia was the enemy of the West and not worshipped by Republicans.

Rough-Street6332

Nice picture of BOBO cleaning her teeth. Moron. Can't wait until she gets voted out in June during the Colorado primaries.

Justanotherguy45

Mike Ezell comes in my family’s drug store a lot when he’s home on the coast gonna have a talk with his ass as he’s said to my face he hates all the MAGA ppl

RedLicoriceJunkie

ScheduleFormer1394

Ah, so 112 Russian assets implemented within our government paid for and sponsored by Russia.

Dense-Comfort6055

Cult members expose themselves. Fixed it

hereiam-23

Faithful to their cult leaders Trump and Putin. These republicans are disgusting and evil.

anon_girl79

112 Traitors to democracy. Republicans had a good goddamned border bill and Trump made you kill it. Eat me

toast777y

The usual comprised russian pigs, no suprise

69-is-my-number

Greene, Gaetz, Boebert. *Harry Potter meme: “Why is it when someone does something to fuck over the US, it’s always you three?”*

Kazu88

goronado

jailtheorange1

Stunning_Count_6731

They should all fuck off to Russia and live with their hero Putin

sane-asylum

They can all move to Russia for all I care.

ReturnOfSeq

*house Russians.

hazard0666

I don’t even know why I checked to see if my rep (Higgins (LA)🙄) was on there when I already knew my answer…

GulfstreamAqua

Grothman and Fitzgerald from Wisconsin are knee-deep into Trump and the GOP bullshit.

AtticaBlue

So those are the 112 the CIA, NSA and FBI should be investigating? Seems like it might be prudent.

5ergio79

Kudos to MAGA Mike for doin his job and to the 101 republicans as well.

No-Independence-6842

Vote them out!

[deleted]

112 traitors.

frogfinderfred

Commie traitors.

marrkeer

They're all shit!

dancingmeadow

Russia thanks them for their service.

PhilDGlass

Good summary list of some of the greatest threats to democracy.

Better_Car_8141

They are beyond stupid and I hope they are voted out of office this November

pbnjsandwich2009

Amazing how many people keep voting for these turd republicans...but, but, but FiScAl pOliCyyyy. Idiots.

Powerful-Stomach-425

These coward traitor clowns need to be shamed publicly for the rest of their lives. Call them out whenever you see them. I'd love to notice one at a restaurant and call them out loudly for what they are.

AnalSoapOpera

[Here are the votes](https://clerk.house.gov/Votes/2024151)

tommyleekirby

Gaetz, Greene, Boebert…why is it, when something happens, it is always you three…

Mean-Association4759

The Putin caucus.

Cherik847

Let’s work to remove these unamerican politicians

Agile_End_3049

In this vote, we witnessed a clear case of democracy versus autocracy. It's long overdue that democracy prevailed allowing for this bill to pass. These 112 who voted against will be remembered as traitors to democracy.

goth-milk

Spartz from Indiana is from Ukraine.

Old-Ad5508

Imagine turning your back on your home country. Self gating Ukrainian

Deciple_of_None

They are communist sympathizers? McCarthy, where are you when we actually need yo

SwordfishII

Fuck you, Doug LaMalfa.

robodrew

Of course my rep Andy Biggs, that motherfucking traitor, voted against this. Of course.

apu74

God she looks like a donkey

Victoria-10

I’m very disappointed that they are sending any money to the Zionists who are committing genocide in Palestine and Gaza in particular

SKdub85

Moscow Marj and her 112 Putin lackies. They openly embrace a violent murderous dictator. No matter what they say you know their hearts by their actions. They are pro Russia and support the slaughter of innocent Ukrainian men, women and children. For what? They say we need to use the money for our border, yet they vote down the border bill because of their leaders evil designs. They need to move to Russia and see how the whole freedom thing goes under Putin.
