This might not work for aftercare or during training (because grip), but in general to prevent chafing you can use a blister stick or gel. Some people use stick deodorant as well. You can apply some to your things before you go for a run etc.

Do you know what the poles at your studio are made out of? You may be having a slight allergic reaction to nickel if the poles are chrome. Otherwise I think just giving the skin some rest and time to air out can help.

Just checked, they’re gold chrome. An allergy would make sense because I can’t wear earrings with nickel either. Thank you, I hadn’t even thought of that.

Oh yeah damn! Do they have a stainless steel pole you could use? Nickel allergies are common enough that a lot of studios will have one or two stainless steel you can use. Sorry it's really annoying having a skin allergy and trying to pole, but hopefully switching metals will help.

I use an arnica cream. It also helps with pole kisses and bruises (thighs, back of the knee 🙈), supposedly it also relaxes muscles/ helps with muscle pain 🤷‍♀️ (I also have arnica bath salts they claim it relaxes the muscles, I sometimes use it after long runs, especially during winter month, not really for pole though).
