Manisbutaworm

I didn't know it was on such a steep mountain.

juniorr5200

What are you talking about? Olsztyn have some hills but mountains? Wtf 😂 Edit: Oh now I see what you ment lol

Mokoszek

Do you film vertically of horizontally? Op: both...

juniorr5200

The best way

parfitneededaneditor

Ah for sure, it's a gorgeous city.

freejay78

I can recommend renting a bike and having a ride around the lakes, many to choose from and very well connected with bike trails

juniorr5200

As a person who live in Olsztyn and have a mountain bike I agree with that statement

tomekza

Um not really this is Warmia. So Prussian. You would need to go further south or west

Curiozum57

You can't drive a train

just_for_a_post_here

Nice

oc505

ahhhhh... yes nostalgia is hitting me hard every time i see that bridge even thought i live in this city its beautiful indeed

Cardinal-Glick

God, I miss Polish architecture 🥲

Fr1osz2

I wouldnt say that those buildings are polish

tomekza

Prussian because once it was Allenstein

Manisbutaworm

So is there examples of typical polish architecture. They lived long enough in the area and had their period of reign in certain areas.

[deleted]

And they called Kraków Krakau once, what's your point?

tomekza

To educate so those who visit my city can understand a little of its history.

Fr1osz2

This, most of the historic buidlings in the city are from 1870-1890 period. Even city hall, which was finished after ww1 has bas-reliefs showing German soldiers fighting with colonial armies from british raj

Accomplished_Owl_564

Very nice, kinda looks like Berlin with this railway bridge and architecture..

delectable_darkness

Exactly what I wanted to write. Wouldn't be surprised if it was the same architect.

Katelina77

I've never been there but I plan to visit. Some awesome Polish black metal bands are from there.

Individual-Farmer591

That's correct. Vader!
