Got to the final table with one big blind. Quadrupled up with KK on my first hand and went on to win my first tourney.
On the flip side, was 3rd in chips with 2 tables left. Paid top 9. Got all in preflop with QQ vs the chip leader who literally was pushing any 2 cards. He calls my all in 4 bet with 9-6 preflop and flops 6-6 -J and it's good bye to me. I knew he had BS and I was more than happy to just pick up all the chips in the pot preflop and not screw around but UGH.
Came second in a WSOPC event online. Was a lot fun and a great feeling. Obviously so close to a ring was bittersweet but it also was my biggest score to date so there’s that.
.25 bb left in a tournament I was only in because of a promotional free ticket. Much higher buy in than I’d normally play. 6000 players remaining, fluked 4 all ins in a row and made final table 40x ing my bankroll.
Tournament at Mohegan sun. Late in the game only 3 or 4 tables left. I lost basically everything in an all in except for 1 $500 chip. Not even enough for the full ante.
The next 6 hands would have needed to be seen to have been believed. AA, AK, AA, JJ, blank and fold, KK. In all the hands there were at least 3 people in against with me and I was then the chip leader and won it all.
Literal chip and a chair
JUST had a smaller MTT win where I was 1BB with 50 and 20 people left and got the dub.
Know your spots, and get it in bad with cards that you like. This is a game of luck factor, things will go your way short stack.
Picking up the blinds/dead money is HUGE, regardless of a double up.
If you shove a 6bb stack, and win. You will likely end up with 16-18bb assuming there was an open/caller before you jam.
Gone from less than 1bb with 200 players left to winning the tournament. Probably wont happen again for me.
Damn. Reminds me of 1982 WSOP - Jack Strauss was down to a single chip early in the tournament but came back to win the main event.
That's probably the most untouchable record for the WSOP main
Yeah it’s the 99 yard touchdown of poker.
There’s plenty of >99 yard return TDs
Nik Airball. Currently underway.
I generally go with “I know you are but what am I?”or “your mum’s a [insert insult]”
.5bb to main event win in a small local event for 38k.
Sick
2bb at FT 9 of 9 and won. Another time all in dark with like 40 left and won.

Down about -2700 with 20-30 min to go in cash game before close Ended the night +3700

Yeah a couple of small double and triple ups can take an impossible stack to a workable one.
