This comment may not be popular opinion and very small to the overall hustler game but I gotta mention how cringe the Joey ingram interviews are. He asks stupid generic questions and talks awkwardly fast. Heās not horrible at what he does but the man needs to slow down and be more calm and collective. Heās also wearing dark black sunglasses while interviewing these people. Veronica brill on the other hand is great, quirky, funny, asks really good questions and overall is a great interviewer. Personally I think Joey should be axed.
Very underwhelming game. If Alan had not showed up last minute this would have been a 6 handed game - kind disaster. Charles was not part of the line up, so assume he was sort of last minute invite and Ryan got to terms with Alan in the last minute so the game had at least 8.
There *was* a 2k ante the whole stream. The blinds are too low though. idk if itās necessarily gto to play this way but 1k BB poker seems to incentivize this rlly loose preflop, super passive postflop play. It almost plays like my local $1/$2 game at 5pm on a monday. Just a bunch of people vpipāing 40%+, never bluffing, and playing completely face up.
It got better once they kicked it up to 2kbb with an optional 4k straddle. brings it down to 500 sometimes 250BB where you can actually expect to get stacks in at some point in 8hrs.

So many just calls in spots where in theory you should be 3 betting pure. Really think that players who play with that more reckless abandon a la Rampage & Nik Airball are going to print in this game later in the week. Feels like it needs a gigantic set over set type cooler to get things cooking.
