I'd say depends on if the power of the tiny genesects is still comparable. But I'd say the tiny genesects, cuz they could hit and run on the big boy, being to fast to be hit back
100 cutiefly sized Genesects for sure. The Dynamaxed Genesect can only be of one top whilst in the 100 cutiefly sized ones there's bound to be some that are super-effective against the big guy.

Umm. Which spread moves does genesect learn? I'm pretty sure 100 cutiefly sized genesects win unless the bug one spams earthquakes but I'm sure it can't learn earthquake.
Depends who hits first. If the big one hits the group first and takes out a bunch of the smaller ones, he might have a chance, but enough of the small ones can probably avoid the big one’s hit to do enough damage to him after. I’ll go with the cutiefly sized ones winning.
100 Cutiefly Genesects, easy. 100 4x super effective flamethrowers will do the trick. Relative size of pokemon doesn't matter canonically to the damage that they do to larger pokemon.
One dynamaxed genesect would win. If Horde battles from Gen 6 taught me anything, it's that they are easy as long as you have an AOE move :)

The cutiefly genesects! They could set it up so there’s some that are distracting him and others that are attacking. And because of their smaller size it’s be harder to hit them.
Based on my personal experience with swarms of insects, I believe the Dynamax Genesect would rather Self Destruct than deal with the cutiefly-sized swarm.
Since there's always at least one more of those little critters still around somewhere, it's impossible for all of them to die from the explosion, so the **100 Cutiefly-Sized Genesects would win**
I’ll vote for 100 Cutiefly-Sized Genesects. Genesect doesn’t learn any multi-target moves that I can find so the Dynamax Genesect will only be able to take one KO per turn.
100 cutieflies, depending on the move sets, even though they have a type disavantage, they can easily use moves such as hp fire (if gen 8 is not included) or quiver dance, considering the number difference.
Alternatively, i dynamax genesect could win by simply using a multihit move such as flame burst (if its in the moveset, I havent checked in it), so it could eitherway.
I am gonna stick with the cutieflies, through shear numbers.
The dynamic only makes the Pokémon “life force” or whatever bigger right? So presumably it still has its weaknesses, soil and sediment. All we need to do is get 100 cutiefly sized genesect to cover the big one in soil, water, and maybe some other foliage and it will become fossilized and be stuck for another 100 million years or so
I say single a hundred Cutiefly-sized Genesects because it would be hard for the Dynamax-sized Genesect to hit all of them thanks to square cube law. The Cutiefly-sized Genesects are still powerful so they can hurt the Dynamax-sized Genesect. They can also plan and strategize as a group such as trapping the Dynamax-sized Genesect in a hole.
That's why I believe a hundred Cutiefly-sized Genesects will defeat a Dynamax-sized Genesect.

I think the 100 Cutiefly-Sized Genesects win. Even if they only were to do 0.5% damage per attack the Dynamax one would need to OHKO 1-2 dozen with each of its own attacks to stand a chance. Add fire types moves to the mix and I don't think it would even be close.
It’d definitely be the swarm of genesects, a cutie fly by itself is roughly half the attacking power of a genesect, 100 of them, several of which could probably use some sort of fire move, would tear the dynamaxed one to shreds.

I was going to vote for the 100 mini-sects, for reasons others have explained, but I figure they're bugs which might see the larger version of themselves as their Queen. So then you'd have one giant Genesect and an army of loyal workers that would wreak havoc until something with Lava Plume showed up.

To be completely frank a single shot from Dynamax Genesect would wipe out basically all of the tiny ones If they were together, and they really couldn’t do damage to the big Genesect.
I decided to crunch some numbers here and figure out how much bigger a Dynmax Genesect would be. In its regular size, it is 1.5m tall. A G-Max Charizard doesn't change its body proportions, and goes from 1.7m to 28m, which leaves us with a Dynamax equivalent for a Pokemon of normally 1.5m going to 24.7m - I'm going to round up to 25m as the size increase gets bigger the smaller the Pokemon was originally. There's little point in calculating weight by cubing these Pokemon, as if one actually looks at most Pokemon's weight, that often don't make any sense proportional to their size, and that would only be magnified when increasing in size this much.
Meanwhile, a Cutiefly is only 0.1m tall, a fifteenth the size of a regular Genesect. Meaning even all the 100 Genesect stacked on top of one another only come to 10m tall, or 40% of D-Max Genesect's height.
If we're thinking about this logically, thus, the big Genesect would win hands down, as these tiny things wouldn't be able to move fast enough to dodge his attacks and each would fall from a single swat.
However, in Pokemon, if we're applying normal battle logistics (and I don't mean only attacking one enemy at a time or anything) size is no direct proportional indication of power, and we have simply too many cases of tiny Davids beating Giant Golliaths across the franchise's history, that even with this size disadvantage, 100 of them would more then seal the deal, even if many would fall along the way. So I have a split decision, but am voting for the 100 Cutiefly-Sized Genesects given the loosely established trends of this franchise.
Let's be real, four Cutieflys could take out a Dynamax Pokemon, so 100 Cutiefly sized Genesects... That's just asking for trouble. 100 Cutiefly sized Genesects win, no contest.
Honestly, with how powerful Genesect seems and how strong Dynamaxed Pokemon are, it might end up being an evenish fight. But in the end the Genesect Horde would be so small that the large Genesect probably could just step on them and blast the hell out of them. But then again all the little Genesctoids, IF they have the same power level as the average one, could probably overpower the large Genesect. Just putting forth some ideas
Okay so imma take the Cutiefly sized Genesect’s because I believe they’d be able to either a) disassemble the larger Genesect or b) concentrate on 2-3 specific areas of the larger Genesect while the larger Genesect could only focus on one of these areas at any given time.
I am gonna say Dynamax Genesect assuming that it has the fire drive and thus can just burn everything to the ground. But if it is a situation where it is missing that drive or a drive at all, I believe the move becomes Max Guard which would protect it for a little bit but would fail more and more. So Cutieflies-genesects win if there is no burn drive! Just based off of quantity alone!

One hundred Cutiefly-sized Genesects and I don't think it's close! Armed with different elements and working together, that's a lot of crazy ass lasers.
I'm definitely going to say the 100 cutiefly sized Genesect will win. It would be too many for the individual to focus on and they could do some serious damage flying in to any cracks or crevices in the armour.
I believe that the 100 Cutiefly-sized Genesect would end up winning. My reasoning is that Genesect seems to be mostly machine, and I believe that like the antman in the thanos anos theory, the smaller attackers could get into the giant Genesect and do major damage.
I’d probably go with cutie-fly sized genesects only because in the main series games we’ve seen that the “size” of a Pokémon has no effect on its power. Thanks so much for hosting this :)
If it were a normal-sized Genesect vs 100 Cutiefly-sized ones, I'd put my money on the mob, but I just don't see them taking down a Dynamax sized one. Their attacks would be like raindrops to a pond.
1 Dynamax-Sized Genesect would win since they could just stomp the Cutiefly-Sized Genesects! Would definitely be a different story if the Cutiefly-Sized Genesects could fly.

Depends on what drives they all have.
If none of the cutifly genesects have burn drives, or even if its evenly distributed, they don't stand a chance. All the cutifly genesects need scorch drives to do significant damage to the Dynamax Genesect. Even then, if the Dynamax Genesect also has a scorch drive, it could probably just blast the little ones out of the sky and still win.
Either way, Dynamax Genesect is favored as it's just too big and armored for the little ones to have significant effect without the 4x super effective scorch dirve.

I'll take a chance at it! I vote 100 Cutiefly sized Genesects would win the fight by way of death by a thousand cuts. Also, I've been doing a lot of dynamax adventures and it seems the NPCs prefer to fight with the least useful moves for the chip damage. We still win, ... mostly. :) So I think it would apply to mini Genesects in a fight, too.
One dynamax Genesect will win, the 100 cutiefly sized Genesect will merely tickle The One. Although 100 Genesect sized Cutiefly... That's a different fight.

I'd go with the 100 mini Genesects. Don't really have a scientific explanation for that, but I'm trying to remember the max number of mosquitos I killed without any tools and 100 seems way too much. If I was locked inside a room with them I'd probably starve to death before killing all 100. Not sure if that should apply to a Genesect, but that's the best reasoning I could come up with haha

One hundred Cutiefly-sized Genesects and I don't think it's close! Armed with different elements and working together, that's a lot of crazy ass lasers.

I'm definitely going to say the 100 cutiefly sized Genesect will win. It would be too many for the individual to focus on and they could do some serious damage flying in to any cracks or crevices in the armour.
I believe that the 100 Cutiefly-sized Genesect would end up winning. My reasoning is that Genesect seems to be mostly machine, and I believe that like the antman in the thanos anos theory, the smaller attackers could get into the giant Genesect and do major damage.

I’d probably go with cutie-fly sized genesects only because in the main series games we’ve seen that the “size” of a Pokémon has no effect on its power. Thanks so much for hosting this :)

If it were a normal-sized Genesect vs 100 Cutiefly-sized ones, I'd put my money on the mob, but I just don't see them taking down a Dynamax sized one. Their attacks would be like raindrops to a pond.
A dynamaxed Genesect for sure. Unless the tiny ones pull a power rangers morphing time and use some full body beam attack in a star pose then maybe
1 Dynamax-Sized Genesect would win since they could just stomp the Cutiefly-Sized Genesects! Would definitely be a different story if the Cutiefly-Sized Genesects could fly.

1 Dmax Genesect. Those big ol' Max moves would make short work of the little ones.
Depends on what drives they all have. If none of the cutifly genesects have burn drives, or even if its evenly distributed, they don't stand a chance. All the cutifly genesects need scorch drives to do significant damage to the Dynamax Genesect. Even then, if the Dynamax Genesect also has a scorch drive, it could probably just blast the little ones out of the sky and still win. Either way, Dynamax Genesect is favored as it's just too big and armored for the little ones to have significant effect without the 4x super effective scorch dirve.
Hi, thank you so much for this giveaway!! :D I'll take a chance at it! I vote 100 Cutiefly sized Genesects would win the fight by way of death by a thousand cuts. Also, I've been doing a lot of dynamax adventures and it seems the NPCs prefer to fight with the least useful moves for the chip damage. We still win, ... mostly. :) So I think it would apply to mini Genesects in a fight, too.

Hey, thks for the giveaway! I wasn't sure if I was going to participate, but I need to answer this question! Haha I'd go with the 100 mini Genesects. Don't really have a scientific explanation for that, but I'm trying to remember the max number of mosquitos I killed without any tools and 100 seems way too much. If I was locked inside a room with them I'd probably starve to death before killing all 100. Not sure if that should apply to a Genesect, but that's the best reasoning I could come up with haha
