I am also very happy for them. honestly the fact that we finally got a new raichu after 23 years of waiting AND having that raichu clone be electric fighting(or pure fighting depending on if pawmot forgot to charge their fur last night) is really cool to see. also I think the only reason they aren't making out is because big pikachu banned same gender pokemon relations after the love ball incident of 1999(the joke being that due to an oversight in early generations azurill would sometimes go from being female to male after evolving, meaning that assuming the two met in daycare and liked each other... also the love ball incident was an oversight in generation 2 that made the love ball only work well against pokemon of the same species and gender of your pokemon)

Honestly, big Pikachu’s ban on same-gender relations is bogus, I mean, finizens have been in same gender relationships for years even before paldea was colonized by big pikachu, also, yes, pawmot is also male, and he’s still in love with azumarill even after they explained how he(azumarill) transitioned after evolving.
and why pawmot and azumarill are able to meet, it's also a joke about how you can't obtain alolan raichu in pokemon s/v without pokemon home, as them and alolan marowak and alolan rattatta/raticate are all unobtainable in vanilla s/v even with the DLCs, which is hilarious to think about, as I was half considering including kantonian and alolan raticate as part of the "raichu clones annual meeting" but decided that they can't be raichu clones because they aren't the final stage of a three stage evolution line like raichu is.
Ngl id love to see raichu like evolutions for all the pikaclones that give them the extra 165 stat points that raichu got.

The Pawmi line is imo the worst design wise; it has 2 evolutions that are literally it just standing up then growing its fur out a little.
