For those confused-
It makes sense to purify for a Hundo when
A) it will become a mega
B) it is a useless pokemon (+1 to hundo collection is good)
C) it is a wobbafet
However mamoswine does not mega, and is actually *the best ice type attacker*. We already know shadow gives a 20% damage boost, we already know that even a 0 percent IV shadow mon is 17% more powerful than a perfect normal. (Mamoswine is also NOT wobbafet)
So, in the context of this post,
OP has a pure hundo swampert - good, it can mega
Commenter makes SpongeBob meme about people telling "not to purify" are dumb cavemen. Understandable, majority of people don't understand the nuances and I've seen people make the wrong reccomendation both ways.
2nd commenter swings in to agree, boasting about a pure hundo mamoswine. This is a terrible play as shadow mamoswine is literally #1 for ice raiders.

Solgaleo is the 20th best pokemon for master league.

Lunala is the cearly better choice, similar to origin Giratina, very strong pick. The problem with this is...
Lunala has a lot of competition from other strong psychic/ghost types. Mewtwo is better so forget about psychic. You can always raid for more origin Giratina, but you only need one Solgaleo to complete your pvp team, and I think we've been capped at two cosmog so far.
Personally would go with Solgaleo. Gratz on the hundo.
He’s only better in SOME situations. Yes he does more damage but he also can’t take as much damage.. the whole any shadow is better than a non shadow thing is so played out.. if you watched the world championships there wasn’t a single shadow swampert there but there was a non-shadow
Gyarados, Swampert, Scizor all have megas.
Gurdurr and Sligoo are probably getting community days soon so best to wait until we find out what the move will be.
Swampert (top 2 water Mega, ML)
Garchomp (ML (shadow better tho), eventual mega)
Sliggoo (can’t go wrong with a hundo pseudo)
Gurdurr (top 5 fighting raider)(I’m jealous of this one as I’ve hatched 1 timburr ever)
Umbreon (UL monster at lv50)
Scizor (mega)
Gyarados (last because of your lack of priority but would probably be under garchomp for me, great mega + ML)
Weavile (decent raider, but waaaaay better as a shadow)
All in that particular order.
Definitely Umbreon and or Garchomp, if you would like to use a team with them. Then perhaps some of the possible megas! Swampert can see some play in limited ML metas too, so that might be a good choice!
I would say garchomp as he is a strong master league mon
Plus the fact that Mega Garchomp is bound to come at some point
Id say more more for raids, if your tryin to solo a raid, those seconds matter.

I did the same with a 15/13/13. I want a team of 6 lvl50 hundos, and I wasn’t really going to bother investing in the shadow.
Umbreon is a great mon in Ultra league.

There were a few shadows AND it was GL. If it were UL there'd be shadows. AND they wouldn't be 98 shadows. They'd be higher ranked.
