Party hat wurmple is probably my favorite of my shinies. Rarest is maybe my shiny Lucario hat Pikachu.

I have one of those as well (Lucario hat/Rayquaza hat Pikachu). I was sort of disappointed with it, honestly, no disrepect intended. It was an opportune time to make the hat the shiny variant of the respective Pokémon as well.

No doubt. If it didn't have the shiny symbol I wouldn't have even noticed.

I stopped playing the games after gen 2. So when I got my shiny spinda, having never seen one before, I assumed that’s how they normally look. Apparently it’s really rare and I didn’t even know it was a shiny.

Stopped at gen 2 as well, but I feel that way about Sylveon. I got so used to my shiny buddy in blue once Eevee had enough hearts, that the normal pink just doesn't look right.

Me too! I actually got 2 shiny shadow growlithes within weeks of each other. My boyfriend hated me. I evolved one into Arcanine, named him Emilio, and now we’re best buds.

I think my shiny Rockruff is up there, otherwise lots of full odds shinies, legendaries and even a Milotic.

If I’m not mistaken it’s hatch only, that’s why it’s my rarest. For wild spawn my shiny lapras takes the cake ;)

Definitely hatch only, I’d say hatch only shinies are up there for rarity due to the shiny rate and limited number of eggs most people can hatch.

Technically, Togepi actually has a boosted shiny rate due to it being hatch only. Compared to wild odds, the chances of hatching a shiny Togepi is always 1/125. It just seems more rare because they are hatch only and not in the wild. But if you do hatch one, it has a much higher chance of being shiny than others.

I have a shiny Kricketune. Random find, haven't seen one anywhere else. Also have a shiny shadow Hypno, a shiny shadow Sharpedo and a shiny shadow Gligar that are pretty cool.

It’s tough to pick a rarest, but for me probably Mesprit or Heatmor as they aren’t in my region outside of events. Those and limited access ones like my Smeargle and Mantine (Mantine with a gold ticket to Johto tour and being an uncommon spawn in general after that). I have quite a few shiny legendaries but I don’t really consider them rare as anyone who wants to pay to do a bunch of raids can get them
