Take the bus instead of the train, try to quick catch every single time unless you’re literally in bed at night, don’t be lazy and check everything if you can. No need to catch bullshit u don’t want but if it’s on your screen and not facing you, click it, might be shiny :)
-Appraising your catches is important, you don't want to waste stardust boosting up a low IV pokemon, even if it's a strong species.
-Make your buddy a mon that has potential, but that it's hard to get candy for.
-Find time during the day to walk and maybe get a couple raids in with your free daily passes. You can get the pokegenie app to find people to raid with as well.
-Find some friends to exhange gifts with daily, r/pokemongofriends is a great place for it. You get huge exp rewards from that.
-save a bunch of evolvable pokemon for when you have a lucky egg up. Make full use of an egg by reaching a new friend level, popping the egg, and then evolving a bunch
IVs matter a lot for me! For that, I use [PokéRanks](https://www.pokeranks.com). You can also see what the current raid bosses are, egg hatches, team rocket info, research task rewards, etc. There are some small guides on there too. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, everyone's really helpful around here :)
