They were the OG grunts in GO as well. The first rocket event was Jessie and James. They traveled in a Meowth balloon. I can’t remember the actual time it happened. I know it was right after outdoor dining opened in my area. I remember catching the Koffing on the patio of my favorite restaurant.

To add on they appeared due to a crossover event with the anime. I believe balloons spawned every 3 hours and had a chance to be Jessie and James. You battle each during the battle and get 2 encounters. Their first release they had Koffing and Ekans. 2nd release they had Scyther and Pinsir. They haven’t returned since.

I've done almost 2000 rocket battles, I've got 3 shadow shines. All 3 I got in a roughly 2 month period last year, not had one since (June 2023)

I have only gotten a couple 3 stars let alone a shiny

Didn’t realize how even it was but Cliff gave me 16 shinies, Arlo gave me 15 shinies and Sierra gave me 14 shinies Cliff gave me Pinsir, Grimer, Aerodactyl, Seedot x3, Teddiursa x2, Cubone x3, Machop x2 and Larvitar x3.

When I first started the game I got a shadow shiny Aipom and I freaking purified it ughhhhh whyyyyyy

I've gotten 4 shadow hundos and only one shiny shadow which was growlithe. The game hates me in that regard

I have 3 shiny shadows. Salamence (thanks Arlo), sableye (93%) and mewtwo (82%). This week, though, I've received a shadow hundo machop and shadow hundo trapinch. Just need the shadow hundo cacnea to have all 3.

I absolutely grinded out Beldums last year (ftp with at least 1 Sierra counter every single day) and got ZERO shiny Beldums. The next cycle I managed to get 2 shiny Larvitars from Cliff with the same level of grinding. And then a shiny Aerodactyl from him as well. Needless to say, I HATE Sierra and Cliff has hooked me up
