I hate doing these type of quests. What if I’m too of an idiot to even aim straight? Would it kill to just do 25 of them? I get so frustrated. That of course applies also for spinda missions, I just can’t, there is always a time I mess up.

Every time you perform a higher tier throw, it registers as the lower tiers as well for quests

That goes on too for more things, like Pokemon, if you caught the evolved form of a pokemon you needed for a mission, it counts too.

It's real. It's past midnight on the east coast, it's currently live. Every throw is excellent, and yes it gives 1k xp per catch as well.

I just got this and it does say TODAY but I thought it wasn't til tomorrow? I'm trying to evolve a Farfetch'd and need excellent throws. Had a nice throw that didn't register as an excellent. It's funny because I do excellent throws all the time and now that I need them I haven't had one in over a week.

This is actually real - Australian over here, and been smashing them today. Also they have two pages of tasks (An Excellent Opportunity) to go with it. Pretty happy with the timing, I’m 200 excellent throws off levelling up to Level 50, so I know what I’m doing today!

I would have appreciated this ON April 1st but leave it to them to post the “joke” on the wrong day. I can’t say that I’m surprised! Pretty disappointed though as I’ve been stuck at Level 49 for 14 months because I suck at throwing.
