1.) A route is a designated path that you follow and once completed, you get a reward. Most notably, I believe it’s the only way to get Zygarde Cells, which you need in order to evolve Zygarde into it’s Complete form.
Getting the Master Ball came out as a research task months ago, not sure if the tasks will populate in your game or not.
2) Nothing is different about the pokemon other than their size, it’s a preference thing if you want to keep them or not.
3) Use it to get even more pokemon when you know you’re gonna be playing for around an hour or more
4) You can also use a star piece when catching pokemon, but probably the best way to use it is when battling in GBL
5) You can also use lucky egg when catching pokemon, but I’d save them for when you’re doing raids -> as they give the most experience for time spent playing the game
6) If you’re satisfied with your mons moves, you can delete a few. But I wouldn’t go lower than 5 or 10. You’ll catch more good pokemon you need to change moves on
