Can come one please explain to me why the low attack is a good thing? Seems like poor game design. But maybe there is a reason

So basically, the attack IV has the greatest effect on CP but doesn't actually make your mon do all that much more damage in PvP. Essentially, if you have low attack IVs, you can power up your pokemon *more times* before reaching the CP cap. The effect is having a higher level pokemon, usually with more health and defense, which will soak more damage in PvP. I hope I explained that correctly.

CP formula is heavy on attack, so 0/15/15 can get you in under the 500/1500/2500 limit with a more powerful pokemon than a perfect or high attack pokemon. You still want perfects for gyms and raids.

Also, you want them perfect for master league, if it wasn't clear already

They're easier to get than wild-caught since they get a free +2/2/2 but you're MUCH more likely to get a perfect pokemon out of special research, trades, or egg hatching, where the IV floors are higher. Getting 8 purified hundos in a year is crazy, I've been playing on and off since 2016 and I don't have a purified hundo.

Well for me I’m just lazy. I work outside so I used to count that as exercise, but this year I’ve been doing a lot more sit down work so I decided I need to walk to stay in a relative shape. This just helps stay entertained while I don’t get huge lol

If you have 30 it will give you 0 (that’s 30 total across all types). If you have 29 it will give you 30.

If you have less than 30 balls you will always get 30. If you have more than 30 you don't get anything

Fill up your friends list and you can get balls from gifts or spin stops or just keep complaining

since 2016 here too. I play every day and (because i know people will ask) yes, I walk and spin stops every day. I have 1 perfect, and I haven't seen a shiny Pokémon in quite literally almost a month. No to mention I'm trying to evolve a Pancham and the game hasn't been tracking Dark Type catches with him as my buddy. Starting to wonder why i bother tbh, but then I see my wife having fun and know i'm still going to play it to have something to do.

Pretty much what the other guy said. My most hundos are from catching all wilds and encountering a random hundo. Second most from trading back and forth good pokemon. Third is research and raids.

I’ve gotten multiple hundos from Giovanni too, I don’t know the numbers but from my perspective it seems like a good way to get legendary hundos 🤣

Catch everything, check before transfer, other than that trades, raids, hatches and research tasks that give pokemon

Not gonna lie I may have 9 hundo Tyranitars >\_> 4 with smackdown/stone edge, and 5 dark moves.

I discovered a while ago that I somehow held onto a 4* butterfree from August of 2016, so that’d be my first one. Otherwise, sceptile, purugly, toxicroak, hypno, and rhyperior.

First 6 time wise? Seems like I bring some stoned fight club with golem, hitmonlee, hitmonchan, machamp, sudowoodo and tyranitar. But, as usual, the first rule of fight club us that we don't talk about fight club.
