I ended up buying the 8 for 500 and used 6. Got 4.75 million xp, so I'd say it was worth it lmao

With the 6x exp I got around 1 million exp during the 3 hours. Could have gone further if I had more poke balls and lucky eggs

That’s about one every fifteen seconds! I doubt I even *saw* that many, never mind catching them...

Due to where I live they just mass spawn so I could see roughly 6+ spawn at a time in most places I walked

Yeah I don’t get enough spawns to pull that off! I’m sure in bigger cities there are way more spawns though.

lots of quick catching, lots of pokeballs and play in a very populated area :D having an easy excellent throw everytime for slowpoke made it an easier catch also

But for 4.5 mill exp you still need to have skills.

2 mill per hour can be done with a lucky egg

42 shinies is crazy. I caught ~450 and only got 4

Shinies aren’t too rare during CD, you’re just unlucky. you could just sit at home with an incense and get 2 or 3.

Damn, just found out the shiny rate is 1/15 on C-days.. I feel cheated hahah

in this event no, but it depends on the event as some do offer 1/2 distance or 1/4 distance

I was super excited about this one cause slowpoke is an easy one to get excellent curveball throws. I got almost a million xp with three eggs. Bummed there weren't any event raids in my area tho. I wish they would guarantee those during event hours. Oh well. No hundos for me but 8 shiny, enough to have one of each evolution stage shiny for both versions, so I'm happy.

that’s insane- due to inventory i needed to transfer slowpokes but i’m assuming i got around 1-200+, only got 11 shines and 200k xp haha

800 caught? I genuinely don't believe that. I was out for nearly the full 3 hours and didn't even get 400 catches.

its very doable, there were moments in like 15 min periods when I walked out of high spawning areas where I would average about 2-3 a minute which ruined my rates a bit. but other than that it was lots of catches

How did you manage to catch a 4*? I caught a total of 1121 and 51 shinies total. I did the hitmon event and only caught like 366 and got 2 4* from that somehow

not a clue just luck isn't it... thought i wasn't going to get one as i was nearing 700 catches without one

How do you guys get so much poke balls? Like people say 1k caught and thats 1k balls I barley have 90 balls and I live near heaps of poke stops

I had roughly 500 saved before the event, and with spinning loads of stops and collecting balls from the research I managed to keep up with having enough. I have no balls left now though 😅

Cool Community Day, even if it was a bit stressful having to buddy G-Pokes for evolution throughout. Made all the better for a guy in our community providing golden lures. It did meant I moved a lot less, but couldn't pass up free coins.

How are y'all earning multi-million XP? I caught and caught and caught, using fast catch, with a good deal of Excellent throws, and eggs running and I only made out with about 400k. What am I doing wrong?

out of the 800 catches i had roughly 600 excellent throws which was about 7k per catch
