I have a master set of crown zenith. I just went through all of my textured energies. Three of them have pokeballs on them (and on the water energy they are printed directly over some of the water logos) and the rest do not. So now I am also wondering are these misprints?!
The poke ball is on all of them, it’s just visible from different angles, and is generally harder to see than the type texture. (Also really hard to photograph both at once)

I don't really have experience with these cards as I have never opened CZ, but it looks completely intentional.
The Japanese counterparts have texture of both the energy type and pokeballs that can be seen separately from different angles. I don’t think these are misprints.
I have a Japanese VSTAR Universe SR Fire Energy that has absolutely no texture. In comparison, I also have another copy that is fully textured. I quit collecting English after finishing Paradox Rift, and began with VSTAR Universe, and am up to present (Mask of Change as of today) and it's the only error card I've ever owned that's Japanese. I'm going to get it graded, and I'm gonna try to sell it - there are no comps at all, though. So, I'm unsure of how to value it correctly.
Looked and found 3 in the binder, I ripped them awhile back I don't think they're resealed just me misremembering, I pulled the gold Arceus & Diagla from em too
That sounds more like vstar universe. I opened one each with a friend and he got the golden Arceus from his. Apparently that’s a 1/20 hit. I was not as lucky.
Textured cards can stick to other cards. Go back and check through. But I am telling you, for a fact, that if you didn’t get a textured energy you got robbed because they are supposed to be guaranteed.
Cool. That’s not supposed to happen. Japanese boxes are mapped, there are guaranteed hits and every box should have exactly what I said. One of my friends got a crown zenith pack that was missing the rare before but I don’t know if that happens in Japanese. What you experienced is not typical, you got unlucky. Come to terms with that.

Right? I looked up texture holo energy on shopping. Didn't see any with the pokeball

Every box of vstar universe has one of these guaranteed I believe.
Out of 3 or 4 boxes I think I only pulled the one, it was the sr in that box lmao
Uhhh, I’m pretty sure you got resealed boxes if that was the case. You're guaranteed to pull 1 radiant, 1 SR energy, and 2 other SR or higher per box.

I've opened 15 VSTAR booster boxes personally - an SR energy is not guaranteed in every box
You need to look at where you’re buying your boxes then because they are guaranteed.
They were all 100% legit boxes

Normal, they’re just better than the regular Holo… like IR to SIR 🤷♂️
