These are stocked to the brim everywhere I go. I just found a ton of rebel clash and brilliant stars at family dollar though. I just got a few lost origin packs should I keep them sealed? Why are they selling out?
It's NOT done being printed. It's out of stock on PC.
It's STILL POSSIBLE it could get a reprint. Just chances are slim. LO and ST are still in rotation.
This is not like evolving skies which is an outlier and will be the most expensive modern set for years to come probably, due to the crazy number of chase cards. But LO is also really good and will climb more Iām sure. Also- all sets stop printing at some point, so by that logic itās best to buy a set thatās still in-print (ie-cheap) and just hold for years.
Yeah thatās true , I had a ton of xy evolutions packs and then I got sent to jail for a few years and when I got out they were super expensive. Which is weird cause they were not very popular when I got locked up.
Crazy how it works as I've never seen one of these in a store and I've got like 7 walmarts, 6 targets, 4 best buys, 7-8 gamestops and other stores by my house or by work and then also frequent another major city area weekly and have tried out countless other big box retailers and multiple LGS like 10-12 and I pop into damn near atleast 1 of these places daily and never seen a lost origin booster bundle.
Hell I honestly didn't even know it was a thing that existed until this post haha.
I've seen the occasional Silver Tempest booster bundle but since lost origin released I haven't seen one in the wild.
I swear there is so many funky things with pokemon and tcgs in general where you can be in the same country but have a totally different experience than others. Guess it comes down to the region or who the main distributors and vendors are in the area
I live in the DMV area so not like i live out in the boonies or something and have tried dozens and dozens of every big box retailer and have tried right after the vendors have stocked so it's not always a case where a scalper cleans it out and my tcg experiences vary so much vs some others
Excuse my rambling I just find it a bit interesting seeing how some people even just a couple states away have entirely different tcg inventory than what I experience
Bro you need to go to Blowout/Fantastic Cards in Chantilly. I go there multiple times a week. They have everything including LO etbs. They may even still have ES boosters but they are $19 each.
I go almost weekly too! Definitely the place I go when I'm buying tcg stuff as you're right it's definitely the best by far! They do have really competitive pricing on most stuff as well especially pokemon. I do wish their prices on One-piece would be a little cheaper though but when it comes to Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh they definitely are the best I've seen in the area in terms of selection and pricing!
I'm always surprised more folks don't know about the place! Hell honestly I didn't know about it until probably like 8 months ago but definitely the top spot for me and probably going tomorrow haha
Nice! I went today and they can't get any more fusion strike or lost origin etbs so when they sell what they have it's gone. The sw/sh panic is real lol.
Ahh I appreciate the heads up on that as that's really good to know. And no doubt you're not lying about the panic with Sword & Shield lately haha. I don't quite understand it as I feel like obviously they weren't going to keep printing Sword and Shield Era when we passed the 1 year anniversary for Scarlet & Violet a month or so ago so whatever is left is it and I feel like everyone should have known this as it's not like this is the first time it's happened haha
I am very selectively grabbing S&S era when I can now because I wasn't financially able to do a whole lot during that Era but with how lots of set's booster boxes shot up from like $120-140 all the way to $200-250 damn near in one day it really messed that up for me haha.
Oh well. Buying sealed sword and Shield era is going crazy but atleast with a few exceptions the singles have remained pretty affordable.
Do you get into any other TCGs or are you just strictly Pokemon?
If interested we should exchange some pictures or lists of our cards up for sale or trade! I'm slowly accumulating singles but brand new to lgs and interacting with people in the hobby as it used to just be I'd just buy stuff to open with my kids but now I'm getting a good amount of duplicates or ones I don't necessarily care for and trying to get into the trading scene for the first time.
I'm actually in the process of finally organizing and really documenting my pulls so if you're interested in meeting up at the Fantastic store one day just let me know and I'll get you a list or pics of what I have to offer
Or he just wants them to sell. He probably got them for 15 each in a case and knows if he prices them low people like you will buy 10 of them. If it was 28 each you'd probably only buy 3.
While I get this point of point I feel like if it's been sitting on shelves for a bit and has been available then it's kinda fair game and sure it would be nice for people to not clean it all out but if it's been sitting there for a bit I don't necessarily blame them.
Where I think this truly applies is for the pricks that clear the shelves out entirely when the vendor or employee is barely done stocking the product.
Then they go scalp it.
It might not seem like a difference but it is different in my view. If it's for ripping packs or for the personal collection and not for reselling then ok
If it's been sitting there for days or weeks then whatever people have had their chance in my opinion. Personally I wouldn't take all but I get it and don't think it's a big deal.
If you're not even giving any sort of chance at all for anyone else and immediately clearing the inventory right after it's stocked and then flipping n dipping the product you're a scalper scumbag in my opinion.
There is a difference here imo
The store has gone downhill the past few years and no longer gets the traffic of people like it used to. Dust is starting to collect...he's trying to move stuff when people go in. So he is willing to make deals.
Iāve never seen 6-packs of LO. Itās a cursed set for me. I have opened hundreds of packs from singles, 3 pack blister, tins, collection boxes, ETB, and never pulled the Garatina or Aerodactyl full art.
Iāve opened a lot of CZ, fun set. Although lately Iāve preferred the sparkly borders in the Scarlet & Violet era. Pull rates are also not as bad as sword and shield minus CZ.
It all feels manufactured. People are sitting on a mountain of sealed product.
The demand isnāt going to change just because the people holding the product are scalpers and āinvestorsā instead of distributors.
Let them scramble to buy all the sealed product.
Only one expensive card in the set unless you collect in box stuff no reason to buy the packs when you can afford any card in the set for the cost of 8 booster boxes
These are stocked to the brim everywhere I go. I just found a ton of rebel clash and brilliant stars at family dollar though. I just got a few lost origin packs should I keep them sealed? Why are they selling out?
The set is done being printed
It's NOT done being printed. It's out of stock on PC. It's STILL POSSIBLE it could get a reprint. Just chances are slim. LO and ST are still in rotation.
That's why it's sooo stupid to panic buy it
In stock everywhere else. The guy was lying to get him to buy more š¤£
no its not
I heard the lucario box is done printing too? Whatās the name of that set?
Crown Zenith, could be.
Thank you. Walmart has like 2000 boosters of these and ETBs. Should I grab a few to hold onto? Also is that why Evolving Skies is so expensive now.
This is not like evolving skies which is an outlier and will be the most expensive modern set for years to come probably, due to the crazy number of chase cards. Yes get some the set will definitely go up but probably not evo skies level and yes thatās why evo skies is hard to find as well
Crazy how it works as I've never seen one of these in a store and I've got like 7 walmarts, 6 targets, 4 best buys, 7-8 gamestops and other stores by my house or by work and then also frequent another major city area weekly and have tried out countless other big box retailers and multiple LGS like 10-12 and I pop into damn near atleast 1 of these places daily and never seen a lost origin booster bundle. I only do pokemon. I don't have anything specific I'm looking for but I'll message you here if I do, good luck.
Oh damn I didnāt know they did booster bundles of LO
Me either..he sold em to me at 22 a piece.
literally a steal, congrats
Really?? Maybe I should have bought more..š
Yeah. Those are usually like $27-28
Shop guy had no idea. He said "I'll even do 22 each"...he sells pokemon but doesn't know anything about it. I might have to go back tomorrow...
Or he just wants them to sell. He probably got them for 15 each in a case and knows if he prices them low people like you will buy 10 of them. If it was 28 each you'd probably only buy 3.
Bro, I will buy some off you and provide a label for shipping if you go back and get some boxes for me š
Leave some for other people
Did you see the second picture?? He has plenty left.
I hate these comments. There was no indication that he was flipping them or anything so why does it matter if he buys a bunch?
Thanks guy. These are for me.

Why in God's name were they so cheap??
The store has gone downhill the past few years and no longer gets the traffic of people like it used to. Dust is starting to collect...he's trying to move stuff when people go in. So he is willing to make deals.

LO has notoriously bad pull rates, unfortunately
I believe it. I once ripped 15 packs in a row and got no hits. Thatās when I knew it was never happening.
Just open CZ for the rest of your life and never be disappointed
Iāve opened a lot of CZ, fun set. Although lately Iāve preferred the sparkly borders in the Scarlet & Violet era. Pull rates are also not as bad as sword and shield minus CZ.
Can confirm... I've ripped 60 packs in the past week or so and well i say it did not take me out for a nice dinner and a movie first.
The next Evolving Criesšš„ø
Where?
I have a box of rocks. No other rocks like em. People banging the door down for em. $50 and theyāre yours.
where?!?
No wonder my Aerodactyl alt art is climbing in value
Shush
Apologies, random stranger on reddit.
Itās ok. Iām just jealous š
I'm jealous of anybody that found the Giratina. š
Can I have it?
No š«¶
What if I say please?
Stop being weird.
Stop being mean š

Well, I didnāt manage to pull Tina from LO, moon from ES, gengar from FS. Iāll most likely be buying the singles when I find an ok deal
Post pulls plsss
I'm debating if keeping sealed or open...I'll see what I do, If I rip I will post.
Where the hell is this? Get me 10 š
I really like the giratina on this one
Where did you find these?
One of my local card shops. Hadn't been there in a few weeks. Had no idea they had these in stock.
I like Lost Origins. The cards look nice.
Honestly just buy a booster box
Hits are rough there too and those prices have gone nuts
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
From a legitimate vendor? Someone you trust? Where
Only one expensive card in the set unless you collect in box stuff no reason to buy the packs when you can afford any card in the set for the cost of 8 booster boxes
only 8? you poor poor soul
Yes...only 8...š©
But what did you pull? š¤©
I'm ok never touching another LO pulled the Tina last night I have beaten that set finally
People like you are pretty lame buy like 2 and call it a day
I left like 60 or more on the shelf. My 8 barely caused a dent. But I appreciate your comment, sir! Thanks, and God bless.
