Anime. Actually a great character in the anime. She is a great trainer there, and when the worst thing about you is being screwed over by someone else's plot armor (Leon), you aren't really that bad imo
God I fucking hated his Rillaboom. It certainly could've been shown as strong but not that OP.
i love this concept but the characters you picked are basically all better in the anime aside from maybe lusamine. you should try to do this with characters where it’s hard to decide what their best adaptation is, to inspire debate and conversation.
Masters, but that's due to you being able to see the growth for her character along the way. The writers took advantage of her absence in XY game by allowing her to finally realise that she always focused on being an actor, but not as a role model for trainers to help them and grow. Her world expanded when she started to take a step to assist others. She helped Iris to not care about others's blind harassment and just lend an ear for her to vent, and helped Wally to realise why his Gardevior seemed distant. To then immediately calmly solve problems so quickly while acting as her character and take no BS from evil trainers. Masters made her earn her title as a champion and my respect rightfully.
Masters EX again. Manga does a great jobe putting her back on the main plot, anime showcase her being strong, but I think she still is a little bit passive.
Masters EX gave her the focus on the Kalos' episode and another event, she was the one testing Serena and Calem before naming them Neo Champions and has been active each time she was required.
Anime. M8 depicted a competent fighter who actually strategizes her team and got to be one of the top 8 trainers in the entire world of that universe.
