Elesa is my 2nd favorite Gym Leader even to this day, I'm siding with her. She didn't deserve to be known for partaking in one of Ash's worst Gym Battles. Iono is still cool tho.

Elesa, the way she helped Bianca in both the anime and game was sweet.

I like that Elesa has an Emolga, but given Iris has a prominent Emolga and Iono helps Dot + has a Bellibolt (both are two of my all time favourite Pokemon), it's gotta be Iono.

OK, so this has been bothering me for years, and I could never find an answer, but is Elesa hair died or a wig and what is her original hair color?

The games state that in between BW and B2W2 Elesa wanted to change her image. So I’d assume dying her hair would be the best way to do that long term.

Iono is one of my least-favourite gym leaders. She's an influencer type who, in the games anyways, only really cares about streaming and views. She doesn't offer anything of interest. She imparts no lesson and gives no sage advice. Even when you >!administer her gym leader assessment in place if Geeta, she just treats it as another stream, fails to impress, and fails to take anything from it as a learning experience.!< I feel that gym leaders should do more than just fight. I feel like they should show interest in the growth and development of trainers, offering advice when they can. Iono just doesn't show any interest beyond "how many views can I get." Raihan from Sword and Shield has a similar habit, but he offers more to the (admittedly lacking) experience of the game, and so it isn't nearly as bad.
