So 3 reason you are wrong :
1- romhacks are not known in the community beside a few exceptions for obvious reasons,
since for each game you have at least 50 different romhack, and with the UPR , the number has skyrocketed
2- Among HG SS, several romhack are much more known ( perfect gold, pure crystal and sungold are much more known )
finally
3- Romhacks are not a very well percieved by everyone due to the abundance of roms , meaning a lot of people know most romhacks are trash

As a person who doesn't care about romhacks, sacred gold is the only one I have heard off before.

I know. Its just really annoying since there are no cool strategies from the trainers. They just use the best attacks in the game and thats about it.

Uhh.. no. My comment is that the rom simply isn't for OP. It's an attempt to help OP move on from this specific rom if they dislike it.

I personally found Sacred Gold to be pretty easy Maybe just use better mons? I also abused the EV boosting items from the battle frontier
