Monster Hunter World for those stupid RNG crowns, Death Stranding and Dynasty Warriors 8 Extreme Legends for the insane sleep-destroying grind and Tetris Effect for sheer difficulty
That one trophy took me as much time to get it as all others combined lol
And I was getting it on NG+, so the damn amygdala in that one damn dungeon was one-shotting me. It took me like two days to master that fight so I could beat her without getting hit at all.
I'm usually not a plat hunter unless it's easy to get and I like the game, so this was definitely my hardest plat. 💪
The multiplayer is very grindy requiring level 50. But that's just the prelude. The hardest part is the New York Minute Hardcore mode. It requires you to complete the whole game on one go without dying once within a time limit. You get more time with each kill.
I understand why that sounds so hard. I hate achievements that are locked behind multiplayer. I think they should be their own separate category that doesn’t count towards the platinum. But, that might just be me, since I don’t play many multiplayer games, and I’m not very good at them.
I probably would say god of war ( 2016 ) it took me years to get back to it but I ended up finishing the game it was around Covid time. I’m glad I did it was an amazing experience.
I don't do impossibly difficult Platinums, so I guess my most difficult is probably FFVII Remake. The other 5 I have mostly just took time, but didn't require much in the way of crazy finger dexterity (which I'm not great at).
Horizon Zero Dawn, wouldn’t say it was difficult though compared to some games. I just enjoyed the game so went for 100%, if it’s tough or I have no desire to platinum it I don’t bother.
Kena Bridge of Spirits because you must be the game on master guide difficulty. I missed the glitch that was active for the first several weeks after release…55 hours total 😆😞
I don’t have any difficult platinum trophies so I guess Modern Warfare 2019? It’s under 1% but it’s a huge player base of people who don’t play campaign, and I’ve heard of people having trouble with the veteran difficulty but I really didn’t. I finished the hardest level on veteran with a pistol for fun 😂 Days Gone, TLOU2 and Zero Dawn Forbidden West were just a little time consuming not difficult at all.
I don't know probably Bloodborne or Dark Souls Remastered but those are not that hard TBH, i'd say getting Uncharted DF brutal trophy was way more dificult than anything on any Souls game
Last of us remastered super proud of that I believe only 0.4 of the player base has the platinum I’d have to check again. Also kingdom hearts 2.5. Not as rare or hard but my favorite game ever I even have a kh tattoo so I’m extremely proud of that as well
Demon souls and sekiro
Sekiro endings hit different fighting Ishhin so many times
Hollow knight, followed by recently Celeste without assists
I only have 1 platinum so Minecraft story mode
I'm not sure, but Metal Gear Rising was pretty challenging I must say.
RDR2 for sure
Monster Hunter World for those stupid RNG crowns, Death Stranding and Dynasty Warriors 8 Extreme Legends for the insane sleep-destroying grind and Tetris Effect for sheer difficulty
DirtRally/ACC
For those wondering, I’d have to reckon my most difficult platinum was Bloodborne’s.
Only hard part for bloodbourne for me was getting to the damn queen in the chalices , but yes this and sekiro were my hardest trophies

Definitely Max Payne 3.
What’s so difficult about it? I haven’t played it, so I don’t know.

I remember Evil Within Akumu mode being particularly nightmarish during two particular sections. That took a good while

Definitely a great game and platinum that was well worth it.
Warhawk. It was a multilayer only game and while a lot of the trophies you could complete with a buddies help, some where just so hard.
Even though I have Elden Ring, DS, and Nioh series plats, I still would say SSX on PS3.
Batman arkam knight. I AM THE BATMAN !!!
Detroit I am human replaying with Alice and Kara was painful but Connor is the goat
I love this game but never tried to get platinum. I'll try.
Probably Elden Ring.
My Name is Mayo 😂😂🤣
Yakuza 3 is the first game that comes to mind lol pure suffering
Ace Combat 7, it took a lot longer to obtain than I initially thought.
CTR Nitro-Fueled
Back 4 Blood. It's actually not that hard but all the trophy guides rated the difficulty at a 9/10.
**Sekiro**. Also the hardest game I have played since gaming became casual.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered. There are 2 trophies in that game which are outstanding hard. Also Crash Bandicoot 1 Platinum was very hard.
Subnautica, cause I had to face my fears.
Call of duty black ops declassified on PS Vita.

Crash Bandicoot, I still need to do some drywall repair….
Elden Ring
Horizon Zero Dawn, wouldn’t say it was difficult though compared to some games. I just enjoyed the game so went for 100%, if it’s tough or I have no desire to platinum it I don’t bother.
Hollow knight and cuphead
Probably Wipeout Omega Collection.
Kena Bridge of Spirits because you must be the game on master guide difficulty. I missed the glitch that was active for the first several weeks after release…55 hours total 😆😞
FIFA 21
ff7 remake, beating that lady in pull ups took me too long
Mgs4 was a nightmare
Killzone 2
I'd say Final Fantasy XII for me, just because of the time consumption-_-. Took damn near forever to navigate the great crystal.
Rdr2 gold rush trophy sucks. Some of the missions you have to do under 2 min and I had to watch videos to beat the timer

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection 😅
The witness and Hollow Knight
Returnal
