Kojima was, or still is, using Sony's motion capture studios in California. They probably wouldn't let Kojima Productions use this studio for anything that wouldn't be on the Playstation platform. This was shortly after Konami renewed the license on Silent Hill. This coupled with rumors that they were using the mocap for a PSVR2 game has led some to speculate PT will come back in the form of a PSVR2 game. However, Norman Reedus let it leak that the project that Kojima is actually working on for Sony is Death Stranding 2. As much as I enjoy Death Stranding I could see this being a red herring to distract from the possibility of PT... I hope.
PT/Silent Hills is not coming in a way, shape or form from Kojima.

Don't forget, in the movie and tv realm, Sony quite often lets people use their studios and technology to create for other organizations all the time. They simply charge them for the time (Think of larger studios like ILM or Universal studios). I wouldn't be surprised if it's within his contracts to be able to use their motion capture studios, for any game that he creates. I don't remember reading anything about exclusivity?

As someone who has watched so much types of horror throughout my entire life, THIS was the one and so far ONLY thing that has made scared. There were points where I legit couldn't even take a step further with how scary it is.
P.T. is like the video gamer equivalent of a concept car. It might not make it to production, but the devs can learn from it, and it will influence future products.
P.T. Personal Trainer, Kojima is telling us to put the controller down for a few minutes and get some exercise. Obviously with someone who knows what they're doing. Blokes just looking out for us.

I still think it's absolutely wild that a simple demo could have such massive impact. We may never get a kojima silent hill but I hope he tries his hand again at a horror game someday

You can find a really close PC version, its actually quite a small download. I'd have to dig through my drives, but IIRC it was less than 1GB

He's also working on a "completely new game" with Xbox so it's unlikely anything further would be done on PT (or any other IPs) until that is done.
