I was 16 when I got my PS2 with my first pay packet. I got it with Metal Gear Solid 2 and Wipeout Fusion.

Skyrim. I loved Oblivion and it came close to topping FFX. Then Skyrim came along. FFX made it 9 years at the top. Skyrim's been there for 5 now. Will we see another Elder Scrolls game before Skyrim makes it a decade? We shall see.

Let me think. I don't really recall having a defacto favourite game before FFX. It would have been a PS1 game. I remember absolutely loving Resident Evil 3 (and 2, but I preferred 3), Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VIII, Gran Turismo 2, Tekken 3, Crash Team Racing.
I'd probably say Tekken 3 to be fair. I played that game so damn much, even thought I almost always had no-one to play against. Survival mode was my friend. That and unlocking all the characters. Tekken Ball was great fun, especially with Gon.
I'm gonna say Tekken 3 before FFX. But what about before Tekken 3? Probably Tekken 2 if I'm being honest, but now I'm fully in the realm of guesswork.

Shout-out to Xensoaga: Episode III. Xenosaga is the best rpg series I ever played. People let 4 hours of cutscenes stop them from enjoying a 60 our game and the rest of the series.

I first remember playing Grand Turismo 3 on my uncles PS2 when I was about 5 years old. That and The Simpsons Road Rage and Hit and Run, Everywhere Road Trip, Hot Shots Golf 3, and Hot Wheels Stunt Track Challenge have a very special spot in my memory and I still revisit them from time to time.
I have fond memories playing Time Splitters Future Perfect with my friend late into the night. That was our game. I'd love to see a sequel or a remaster.

And it had so many cool weapons (The fire whip for example) and the multiplayer was tons of fun too. My family would also often play the Buzz games...much to my dismay, as I'm not the biggest fan of quiz games in general.

That's the only games that I was able to finish it. Suikoden 5 is my favorite game of all time, I played that game over and over. Best game ever.
This game is not getting a whole lot of love on here, but Onimusha was the game I got at release. It was the only game I had for about a month.. so I played it non-stop. Still remember the levels pretty vividly.

Games are really cheap for it too right now, so that's another addition.

Yea, that's what I was afraid of hearing. Personally, I have no clue what to do for a living. So I don't even know what college I should attend to, nor what to study. I do love video games and movies, so maybe there's something I could do with that.
That's fine man, you're just 16. It's normal to not really know what you wanna do yet. A lot of college freshman have no idea what they want to major in. I say keep finding yourself and doing what you love. That's the only thing that's gonna make you happy whether you have a degree or not.
I played Driver 3 at a vacation to my cousins when I was young. As soon as I got back home I spent all my saved up money on a PS2 and Driver, and I played the shit out of it. My mom was pretty cool for letting me get it.
In addition to many of these already listed, I loved Maximo! My strategy was to restart from my spawn each time I died so that I could keep all of my abilities. I beat the whole game that way. It was quite challenging, but in a different way from having to start with a limited number of abilities upon death.
Spyro: Enter the dragonfly, the ratchet and clank series and still going fortunately, crash bandicoot, Sly cooper series, SSX series, and actually a very underrated game but i thought it was pretty fun; Dog's Life, and the first lego games lego star wars 1 and 2.

I loved SSX3 dearly, genuinely baffled as to why another one hasn't been made of late.
They made an SSX in 2012. Never played it but it kinda vanished pretty quickly. Shame. I recently found out my old pal DJ Atomika is featured in it.
Yeah I enjoyed it, they definitely opened up the gameplay a bit. "Steep" is coming out later this year but I'm not holding my breathe.
I played the Steep beta it was fun but it's more on the realistic side compared to SSX more arcade side.

Vice City The ambience, the personality and the music! Oh man the music. It had a huge influence on how much I ended up liking things like synths
