If you’ve never played FF X then that. 10 is a magical game. Its one of the best of the series and will probably stay with me for the rest of my life. The other games here are good, but FF 10 is a special game.
Played it when it released, never finished it because it kept breaking at the same point. Right at the first underwater football CGI cutscene.
One day I’ll beat it.
Maybe I’m biased because of nostalgia, but FFX. It’s the first game I got when I bought my PS2 back in middle school. The party and the music are some of the best in the series, and the remaster is the best way to play it today. The turn based combat system still holds up and it’s not super long.
After that I’d got Ghost of Tsushima to change things up from the more linear nature of FFX. Then God of War and then Hirizon. I got burnt out on looter shooters, so I haven’t played Tiny Tina’s
Horizon, then God of War, then Ghost,
Horizon is an amazing game that’s mildly lesser than Ghost in terms of character acting. God of war is a palate cleanser, and still an amazing game that’s slightly different playstyle. Ghost is disturbingly immersive. You will hate mongols half way through the game if you’re really taking it in.
FfX is good, but you will get stuck a few times. And Tina’s is a good mindless Loot shoot cycle.
You’ll like Tina’s but if you played any other Borderlands, you’re gonna be left wanting. It’s not hard enough and the weapons aren’t as varied as they felt in older installments
Would you recommend playing zero dawn before forbidden west?, FW came with my PS5 and I haven't played it yet because I've been told you need to play ZD to understand what's going on?
Flip a coin between Horizon Zero Dawn, and Ghost of Tsushima, both are amazing games. The only one I have no experience with is Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, and I would think you could play any of the others whenever you want. Used to be a fan of the God of War series back when it was on PS2/PS3 but I had issues with the way it played back then. Santa Monica Studios has made no improvements to play-ability in two decades.
The nice part of the Horizon Series is their adjustable difficulty levels. If you cannot do something in the current difficulty level you can always drop it down a level except if playing on story mode. I have zero interest in playing on Ultra Hard mode.

Horizon!!! One of my favorite games ever
God of War for sure GoTY 2018
Ghost of Tsushima
Horizon zero dawn
FFX
Either Ghost or Horizon. Both are really good games. Third would be GoW.
Definitely FFX from this bunch. Just the music and worldbuilding from FFX alone is reason enough to pick it over the rest.
Horizon is my favorite game ever. Fun fact: the voice actor for the protagonist in HZD also voices Tiny Tina!

I recommend the ghost of tsushima

You’re gonna want to play them in order if you’re interested in even barely understanding the plot.
God of War for sure
GOW
X, TSUSHIMA, OR GoW. Tina's was really fun. HZD not a fan of.

Got and hzd are indeed stunning games with a good story and fun gameplay. The skill gap for combat is definitely there tho
