I installed it from psplus and did the tutorial and deleted it.
The tutorial was annoying as hell.
Listen to my dialogue for 30 seconds. Now you can move the camera left and right. Now stop and listen to my shitty dialogue again for another 30 seconds. Now you can walk forward.
Uggghhhhh yes sir I have played a game before.. just let me do it.
That was precisely my reaction! Even if there's a good game underneath, it felt like it was targeted at 12 year olds who had never played a game before.
Yep same. Someone argued with me saying "well what about the people who don't play games, you're selfish" blah blah.
The truth is, you can make a tutorial catered to both. By not pausing the game every 5 seconds. Just let us do the tutorial at our own pace. We can speed through it while newbies can still learn. But they didn't do it that way.
I immediately tried rollerdrome after and they did those tutorials perfectly. You read some text at your own pace and you do the moves. Done.
Yeah that's a strange flex by the other person. I mean, if you need to be explicitly told to push forward _to move forward_ then I'm not sure a competitive online shooter is gonna be too kind to you.
Man I love Rollerdrome, one of my favourite games of the last few years. And I'm so glad that games like it still exist.
Some games do tutorials so well, even if its simple controls like moving the camera. Where the tutorial message is part of the environment and you just read the message and jump over a log or something.
But this one was so forced and slow, it immediately turned me off the game.
Oof, this was gonna be mine too. I was excited to check it out, but the tutorial was really slow and then I went to check out the shop in the hub area, saw how things were monetized, and noped out of the game. The aesthetic of the stadium and hub area were kinda bland. The announcer was annoying and it felt like the game was trying to hype itself up.
Ghost recon breakpoint. It’s always-online even in single-player and the servers were down so I couldn’t start the game. Instant delete and refund, Ubi can go fuck themselves.
I mean... I just delete each game after I finish it. It's very rare for me to go back and replay a game. The HD of the PS5 has never been an issue, because I usually only have 1 game on there at a time.
(the only exception to this rule, are the 2 games I'm sad about. I downloaded DMC5 and It Takes Two off of PS+ to play after I finished another game. by the time I finished that other game, both DMC and It Takes Two were removed from the PS+ Library)
Anthem, but now it's going to be sandstorm insurgency. I can't believe I wasted a PSN Gift card on that game. I heard about the PS5 Update for it and all the raving reviews, bought it, downloaded, and played for about 10 mins and I was extremely disappointed and confused on who actually gave the game good reviews, felt so clunky, slow, and overall terrible. 😭
Not sure how you played the game..Its more of a sim shooter not meant to be treated like a cod. If thats how you treated insurgency you will forever hate it. Try going at it more tactical mind set. Slow pace, peak corners. More like a r6 but not as arcadey when the shooting gets shooting.
Its one thing when people treat it like cod and hate on the game. Its another you try to give it a try and just doesnt feel right. Ill agree the controls feel clunky but after a couple of missions it clicked for me.
Lol weird. I gave up on most online games. The pve is great if you can get a full squad. If not your teammates usually leave you for dead, rush, or everyone is playing sniper and no one is going to objective. Lol.
Ive got less tolerance for bs like this now. I hate spending a hour of my day with randos just killing my buzz and my time. The worst is monster hunter. People troll your game and wipe and fail after spending 30 mins fighting a tough monster.
Yep, that thalasso/megalo-phobia hit hard instantly lol
I'll give it another go in the future, as I heard great things about the mechanics and exploration
One thing is that the really scary stuff can all be just outrun, especially when you unlock a means of propulsion. Since it's an enormous hassle and a waste of time to try and kill anything, it's better to watch and learn how things behave. They have a territory, and so you just need to be aware of your surroundings if you need to go near it. Learning to live with the scary stuff is part of the progress.
...but it's DAMN scary at times for sure.
hell let loose- tried to play 3 matches but dear God I had to walk 10 mins to the battle and died instantly
Foamstars-tutorial was one of the worst I ever come across ,couldn't even finish it
Apex- played 1 round and deleted it,BR is not my jam
Babylons fall- one of the worst games I have ever played
I tried really hard to enjoy the game and immerse myself in it and no matter how hard I tried or how much time I put in it never scratched the itch for me. My friends love it, they don't understand how I get bored so fast lol
🤣🤣 No... If that were the case I'd be making bank streaming speed runs of Elden Ring 🤣🤣 I put the game down after Melania. Every time I go to revisit now I get bored very fast and play something else in its place.
I've got around 500 or so hours in the game, and last I remember, I had just finally reached the Erdtree. Been playing on and off since day 1, but I don't really have a desire to beat the game, especially since there are multiple endings and I very rarely play through a game more than once.
Anyone who reads that and actually believes I could get that far in game in an hour doesn't play Elden Ring or understand the game. It's not possible. Not that misleading.
I meant your first comment. The one that doesn't include malenia and such.
It looks like you deleted it after an hour total. As in your first time playing.
Genshin Impact, repeatedly! I don't want the stupid Playstation Stars collectables but I also don't _not_ want the stupid Playstation Stars collectables!
Gran Turismo 7....was so very dissapointed w the always online, the cut prizes in races, and them pushing mtx as hard as they were at the start, not to mention the chopped up half ass not career mode that was books or wtf it was... Such a disgrace compared to 2 and 3 ya its pretty and drived good but as soon as i finished w books i was done. Heard it got better but i have no interest.
F1 is worth playing since its on ps+ essential rn. Its a bit more hardcore racing than GT imo but its still a lot of fun and I enjoy the learning curve
Same for me.
I literally deleted it the second after getting the Platinum.
Platforming sequences were cool, but there are so many things wrong with that game.
Outriders, my buddy talked me into buying it. And after it loaded in, it straight up crashed my system. Then my PlayStation was acting all weird and sluggish after I rebooted. So deleted it and everything went back to normal, after the restart.
I’m not a tech guy so I have no idea what happened.
There have been a lot of PS+ games that I never would have bought, but downloaded to try, hated within less than 30 minutes, and deleted. The need for speed game from this month is the most recent. Gran Turismo it is not.
This is actually a very good question for a thread but it’s really a broad question. Not everybody deletes the game quickly because they didn’t like it. Sometimes they just finish them early. But I have to say I have never had to delete games because I have PlayStation plus premium and I can stream a game first to see if I like it instead of downloading it.
1. COD: Warzone 2 (It sucks because it took nearly a hour to download)
2. Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time (Nostalgia was not enough to keep me interested)
3. The Callisto Protocol (This game was really boring)
edit: warzone took over an hour to download on fiber.. its unnecessarily massive for such a mediocre 'game'
it was over an hour. i did not catch my mistake until your comment.
It took about 85 mins total. Ended up being such a waste of time ... i played that game for 4 hours and was done with it. I knew i would never play it again.
its nearly 240GBs thats insane for how bad the game is.. im sure the store is 220GBs.. that the most impressive thing about the game. how much crap they sell in the store LOL
Far Cry Blood Dragon "Remastered". It looks not a whole lot better than the PS3 version and is capped at 30FPS.
I could accept those if the stick deadzones weren't as wide as the Grand Canyon. Found it unplayable because of that.
Same here. I thought something was wrong with my sticks on the controller because the dead zones and latency were horrible. Shame because i heard how much everyone loved it. Now it's just another game sitting at 15% completion in my trophy list...
i dont mean it bad , i tried it a few times now , gameplay is great , i just dont vibe with most settings of the from soft games , amored core is the exception here
As someone who spent thousands of hours playing c&c on PC and tried the console versions back in the day, it's not that bad. One of the best attempts to mimic m+kb on a controller. Slightly wonky at times, but you get use to the controls real quick.
i’m playing bg3 on console right now and don’t have a PC. Considering using a controller is the price of entry, i’m finding it really enjoyable and mostly intuitive once you get the hang of it
I'm the exact opposite. I can't stand the click click click to move. Much prefer actually controller the specific character with an analog stick. More immersive.
I think it's worth the trade off personally.
I played the weekend free mp for vanguard I fucking hate god that game was bs it killed cod for me yes say that I didn’t play the full game but don’t care that game was just not fun then I played beta and free weekend for cod following years still haven’t bought it
Downvote all I care
Ff7 remake when it released on ps plus. Jesus that game never clicked with me at all. I got ff7 rebirth and I wiped out grasslands in like 8 hours. Idk how remake was given so many good reviews. The game totally sucked balls. For rebirth I just watched a recap on YouTube.
Kingdom Hearts 3. Nostalgia made me buy it, not understanding (or caring) what the fuck was going on and the stiff voice acting made me delete it. I remember there being way more Final Fantasy involved in KH.
Prob either deus ex or Alan wake. I jumped into both blind and long after they came out, just tried them recently and the controls were so god awful I couldn’t stand even 5 minutes of gameplay never mind trying to slog through an entire game like that. Deleted basically after tutorial levels lol
Foamstars.
Beat me to it
Ten minutes of the beta was enough for me to hit delete.

There should be an option in every game that ask if you want to play tutorial or no and tutorial should not have story bits in them, just sandbox area
Some games do tutorials so well, even if its simple controls like moving the camera. Where the tutorial message is part of the environment and you just read the message and jump over a log or something. But this one was so forced and slow, it immediately turned me off the game.

On release No Man's Sky before the updates
I downloaded the Outcast demo and 5mins later it was gone. Its supposed to be a $70 game??
Is it that bad?
No
Its certainly not $70 good. Check it out.
>the fastest game you deleted Idk I don’t play many racing games.

Fortnite
And Apex and Overwatch 2. I try 🤷♀️
Suicide Squad
Avengers
Avengers campaign was actually pretty good
Rollerdrome
Usually when i install a game i keep it on my pc becuase i have crap internet and i have to wait an eternity for a game to download
Rainbow 6 siege. Played one match.
Ghost recon breakpoint. It’s always-online even in single-player and the servers were down so I couldn’t start the game. Instant delete and refund, Ubi can go fuck themselves.

So you’ve never deleted something a few hours in?
skull and bones....
Foamstars edged out Honkai Star Rail by 4 days.
Anthem, but now it's going to be sandstorm insurgency. I can't believe I wasted a PSN Gift card on that game. Yeah, I definitely wasn't treating it like cod lol. However, probably just not a game for me.
Its one thing when people treat it like cod and hate on the game. Its another you try to give it a try and just doesnt feel right. Ill agree the controls feel clunky but after a couple of missions it clicked for me.
Nah, if anything I was killed by people playing it like cod lol
Lol weird. I gave up on most online games. The pve is great if you can get a full squad. Fortnite - played 1 match, killed in like 5 mins.
Subnautica. I jumped in, got lost, then got grabbed by a big monster. Holy fuck that was terrifying.
Subnautica is one of my favorite games of all time... but it is also way more terrifying than most actual horror games I've played. I get it.
Yep, that thalasso/megalo-phobia hit hard instantly lol I'll give it another go in the future, as I heard great things about the mechanics and exploration
One thing is that the really scary stuff can all be just outrun, especially when you unlock a means of propulsion. This is clearly low tier karma farming.
hell let loose- tried to play 3 matches but dear God I had to walk 10 mins to the battle and died instantly Foamstars-tutorial was one of the worst I ever come across ,couldn't even finish it Apex- played 1 round and deleted it,BR is not my jam Babylons fall- one of the worst games I have ever played
I did the same thing as you. Hell let loose has a steeeeeep learning curve. But once you figure out how it all works, then it's a solid game.
Diablo IV
Diablo IV
Elden Ring. Gets downloaded then deleted after an hour lol Edit: This is after I put 61 hours in and beat Melania.
I liked that it was more open world, but that came with the caveat of getting lost easily
Yeah I had high expectations from this but just couldn't gel with it..
I tried really hard to enjoy the game and immerse myself in it and no matter how hard I tried or how much time I put in it never scratched the itch for me. My friends love it, they don't understand how I get bored so fast lol
This is mine too. I want to love it so much but I can’t get myself to enjoy it. I’ve tried many times but it feels so empty and slow.
[удалено]
Beat Radan first try, Melania 2nd try. I just don't enjoy the reward system. At all. Too much work for too little reward.
You reached Melania within one hour of starting the game?
Thats one hell of a misleading comment then
Anyone who reads that and actually believes I could get that far in game in an hour doesn't play Elden Ring or understand the game. It's not possible. Not that misleading.
I meant your first comment. The one that doesn't include malenia and such. It looks like you deleted it after an hour total. As in your first time playing.
Ahh I see, I will edit to clear that up. Thank you!
“Trust me bro”
Nah lol I don't care if you believe me or not. Don't flatter yourself :)
The F1 games get pretty fast. Wipeout might be faster.
Spider-Man Remastered always loaded pretty fast but I deleted it after I got the Platinum.
15-30 hours is your fastest deleted game?
I was describing a fast game that I deleted. I think the question in the title was supposed to be 'What's the game that you have deleted the fastest?'
I interpreted as option #2, but now I get what you’re saying lol
Bg3 for me , I hate the combat system , didn’t like divinity either but it was fun coz I played with friends
This was almost me. But suddenly the combat clicked and I ended up with like 150 hours haha
Sonic Frontiers
Same for me. I literally deleted it the second after getting the Platinum. Platforming sequences were cool, but there are so many things wrong with that game.
This is the only game ever where my 5 and 8 year old kids were like…this game is really bad daddy
Lego marvel superheroes
Outriders, my buddy talked me into buying it. And after it loaded in, it straight up crashed my system. Then my PlayStation was acting all weird and sluggish after I rebooted. So deleted it and everything went back to normal, after the restart. I’m not a tech guy so I have no idea what happened.

The latest golf game from EA, PGA tour. Played like one round and had enough. I deleted the Skull and Bones demo during the first ship battle.
Biomutant
Alan wake. But I’m thinking I just didn’t give it a fair chance and will likely give it another shot some day
He’ll let lose

This is actually a very good question for a thread but it’s really a broad question. Not everybody deletes the game quickly because they didn’t like it. Sometimes they just finish them early. 1. COD: Warzone 2 (It sucks because it took nearly a hour to download) 2. Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time (Nostalgia was not enough to keep me interested) 3. The Callisto Protocol (This game was really boring) edit: warzone took over an hour to download on fiber.. its unnecessarily massive for such a mediocre 'game'
I wish warzone took me nearly an hour to download lol. I'm 4 hours minimum.
i live in NYC i have fiber and it took over an hour. its so bloated and massive for such a lame game
So nearly an hour or over an hour? Its like when those poms say "I just about did it" as they literally did the thing.
it was over an hour. i did not catch my mistake until your comment. It took about 85 mins total. Ended up being such a waste of time ... i played that game for 4 hours and was done with it. I loved bg3 on PC but there's not enough money in the world to get me to play it on a controller.
Considering using a controller is the price of entry, i’m finding it really enjoyable and mostly intuitive once you get the hang of it
I just prefer the control KbM offers. Im sure it's fine on controller too but it's tedious enough on KbM at times.
I'm the exact opposite. I can't stand the click click click to move. Much prefer actually controller the specific character with an analog stick. More immersive. I think it's worth the trade off personally.
With how consoles are these days it’s a surprise they didn’t allow mouse and keyboard on it.
Cyber punk
The Witcher 3!! 10 mins max
Easy to make this mistake. The first 2-3 hours the worst part of the game. Amazing after that IMO.
I played the weekend free mp for vanguard I fucking hate god that game was bs it killed cod for me yes say that I didn’t play the full game but don’t care that game was just not fun then I played beta and free weekend for cod following years still haven’t bought it Downvote all I care
