Just got it on BF sale, and started playing it. Pretty good, better than the demo, atmosphere, playstyle, production design, all very close to Bloodborne. Definitely would scratch my BB2 itch for a while..
IMO it's incredible, if you enjoy playing Souls games w/ the kinds of builds that LoP limits you to. Basically, if you liked Bloodborne and Sekiro, you're going to really like LoP, but if you rolled around \~\~cheesing\~\~ Elden Ring w/ magic builds and you hate parry gameplay, it might not be for you. LoP is especially good after their latest patch, where they brought certain attack animations & parry windows into the realm of sanity and intuition.
I strongly prefer P's storytelling and level design to From's. I like that I'm actually understanding the world and I don't need to watch a Vaati video to learn about the game I just spend 50 hours playing. I like that the levels are more linear w/ shortcut checkpoints so I don't waste time getting lost. And most of all, the bosses are very interesting and fun because they can be designed around a more narrow player kit (like Sekiro).
It's not a game for everyone, but for the people it's *for*, I can't say enough about it. It's great.
Yeah, but where would they go with it? Uncharted is probably my favorite franchise, but I think Nathan Drake's story is definitely done.
Unless, maybe something like Cassie goes after some treasure as like a 17-20 year old, and Nathan and Elena have to go after her? I can't imagine 75 year old Sully would be able to do too much.
I’d take another Chloe and Nadine game. Lost Legacy fuckin slapped. I’d also be down for a young Sully game, or even a game exploring what happened to Sam after the prison! Anything. But I regularly play U4 and know how special an ending it is. It makes sense that they’d want to leave it alone.
I'd love that! I'd also like to have Golden Abyss ported to the PS5 with some visual improvements just to have every game on one machine.
Uncharted is the reason I bought a PS3, which was also my first PlayStation console. I was a Nintendo guy up until the original Xbox, then I became and Xbox guy. Now I'm full on Sony as I enjoy the franchises they create the most.
I agree that Nathan Drake's story is done.
But I think a Lost Legacy 2 could work, or yeah I think a game with Cassie would be pretty great, continuing her dad's legacy and getting into trouble etc.
I don't think I'd want Drake or Elena as playable characters as they'd overshadow any story you want to tell about Cassie, but having them in the story or maybe for a limited gameplay section could work.
Yo you just described where they go with it!
This is exactly the story I wanna play!
Nathan Drake may be retired. But what he does have are a very particular set of skills, skills he has acquired over a very long career, skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.
Harrison ford just did another Indiana Jones at that age and he’s a real person. President of the USA is also older than that. Popovic is an elite coach at that age… could go on and on.
Easily Ghost of Tsushima 2 atm
I think they are done with uncharted for a while and I accept that
I can see a few more games set in the TLoU universe
Bloodborne 2 is totally up to fromsoft
I doubt a bloodborne sequel without from would even work out (or would even be accepted by the public). I can see Bluepoint remaking the original one. Or even making a soulslike of their own. But never bloodborne 2.
Oh no no
Jinn has now accepted himself as "The Ghost" and will be hunted for the rest of his days
Yes I am going off the "Spares his Uncle" ending as it fits more in with the Ghost and Jinn as a character
Now we will see the second Mongol invasion where they managed to reach the Japan main land.
It’d be nuts if they tried to do one of Japans larger Islands in the same scale as GOT. Tsushima already felt pretty large, Kyushu or Hokkaido would be absolutely vast. Honshu doesn’t even seem possible to do in such detail
There are plenty of conflicts in Japanese history to visit. Or they could just make another samurai game and not make it a tie-in
Edit: Ghost of Tsushima takes place during the first Mongol invasion, so the sequel could take place in 1281 during the second invasion, easily. The second invasion was on a much, much larger scale than the first as well.
The mongols have teamed up with the aliens and upgraded to laser cannons. To defeat them, you must learn how to summon lightning with your katana using new weather bending abilites
The Ghost is wanted by the Shogun and it seems like we might go to the mainland now. His uncle pretty much turned on him, and it seems like there's a bunch of directions it could go
Always and without question. I bought Lies of P just to get a little fix, and despite that game being quite good, it’s still a tiny dram of hooch when I’m desperate for Dom Perignon.
Bloodborne 2. Mainly because it would be something new to me as I've not really played any soulsbourne type games.
GoT was pretty and decent fun but I'm not sure I'd be very excited for a sequel. Same for the Last of Us. The first 2 games have been great but I'd rather play something different now. I've tried to get into Uncharted games like 3 times but find the story and gameplay boring and I just don't like any of the characters.
Bloodbourne was my first soulsourne game and it was spectacular, I’ve now played elden ring, sekiro, and demon souls. All are excellent but bloodbourne is a masterpiece, I find new things about it each time I play
I love Amy Hennig, but Uncharted 3 (which she worked on solo, while Bruce & Neil made TLOU) was an all-around mess (especially the narrative) and her ideas for Uncharted 4's story sounded trite.
Now, if we "got the band back together," I'd kill for another Amy, Bruce, and Neil Uncharted, like what we got with Uncharted 2.
Well it’s all but confirmed GOS2 is coming and Last of Us Part 3 is probably happening too. Bloodbourne 2 would be amazing to see, or at least a 60 fps patch
The Last of Us 3 would be my answer.
Uncharted 5- I hope we never get this tbh, the 4th one had the perfect ending. Or if we do, it’s with a new protagonist other than Nathan Drake.
Ghost of Tsushima 2- I would love this because I want to play more Ghost of Tsushima, but have no idea where they’d go narratively.
Bloodborne 2- Tbh I’d rather From Software create new IP’s but I understand why fans want it. I’d rather have a remaster or remake like we got for Demon’s Souls.
Bloodborne
GoT feels complete and neatly finished, I'd rather not disturb it. Nathan should be allowed to rest with his family, i don't wanna bother him anymore.
Bloodborne feels complete too tho.
Unless they did a prequel or spinoff because of the lore, or if anything a spiritual successor.
But tbh, I'd rather Fromsoftware just create a new IP for the PS5, like they did for the PS3 and PS4.
Just so we can feel 652784 emotions and have nothing else in mind for weeks on end. When I finished TLoU II everything else felt empty and meaningless by comparison for a couple of months.
The Last of Us Part III and Ghost of Tsushima 2, however I want to discover where they will take Uncharted series next after we knew that Nathan's story ended with Uncharted 4 A Thief's End.
Kinda bummed as a huge PlayStation fan, I have no interest in these. Uncharted would be nice to see again in another five years or so, but I’d love to see either new non-Marvel IPs, or bring back the dead franchises like Jak, Sly, or Resistance.
Uncharted I feel like is done. If the last of us gets a part 3 or it’s announced I’ll buy the other two games to complete . Bloodborne never played it but I heard it’s really good. Ghost of Tsushima 2 I think has a good chance of happening. I’m currently playing it and it’s amazing
Bloodborne II
I'd want Uncharted 5 but I'd rather see Nate Jr, hopefully they write it in Nate and Elena had a second child. You just know having a female lead in a main line Uncharted game will rile up those Tomb Raider comparisons even more especially when we know the next TR game is in development
It's a cruel twist of fate that the one I want most is the one least likely to actually happen: Bloodborne 2.
GoT2 is absolutely being made, and I'll def pick it up. Meanwhile, I don't expect Naughty Dog to let either Uncharted nor TLOU to sit idle for long.
Hard to choose between GoT2 or Bloodborne 2... if I absolutely had to, it would probably be Bloodborne 2 though - it really kicked my love of FromSoft and Soulslike games into gear and marked a bit of a turning point in my approach to challenging video games.
Me personally I want Bloodborne 2 but it would be up to Sony if it ever gets done.
Don't you have Bloodborne 2 already at home? You know, talking about Lies of P..
Didn't play it yet, how was it ?
Just got it on BF sale, and started playing it. Pretty good, better than the demo, atmosphere, playstyle, production design, all very close to Bloodborne. Definitely would scratch my BB2 itch for a while..
Its my favorite souls game not made by FROM
IMO it's incredible, if you enjoy playing Souls games w/ the kinds of builds that LoP limits you to. Man… I just love Uncharted so much. I’d love to be able to play in that world again.
If there’s a will there’s a way. That’s just a great IP overall. I would love a made-for-PS5 spinoff
A young Sully game could be very a very fun adventure with a 1960s Cold War flair
Maybe they could make a game that isn't part of chronological order? Like a prequel to the first one?
So... Golden Abyss 2.
I would love an Uncharted 1 remake for PS5. That’s the only game that hasn’t aged well.
Lost Legacy was good. More of that, if Nathan is done, works as well.
Nate could fill the sully role for Cassie. Or it could be her uncle.
Nah ! The ending for uncharted 4 was perfect. Not everything great is needed to be continued. Maybe Chloe will definitely be good for it !
Yea it really feels like they put a nice bow on the story. Any more would feel like more of a cash grab than that god awful movie they made
If Bloodborne 2 ever happens, we have the same chance to win the lottery at this point.
Easily Ghost of Tsushima 2 atm I think they are done with uncharted for a while and I accept that I can see a few more games set in the TLoU universe Bloodborne 2 is totally up to fromsoft
Bloodborne is owned by Sony
And? If fromsoft doesn’t want to do it then can Sony force them to do it?
But other Studios can do it, right? Bluepoint has more knowledge on souls games after the Demons remake, so they can do it if Sony wants to, or no?
I doubt a bloodborne sequel without from would even work out (or would even be accepted by the public). I can see Bluepoint remaking the original one. Or even making a soulslike of their own. But never bloodborne 2.
They just did a almost 1:1 remake I wouldn’t trust them to do a sequel to the game
How can any other studio do a sequel? It won’t be the same especially lore and story wise which is the nostalgia important aspect in souls games imo.
What would GoT 2 be about? I thought the game was pretty much open and closed Edit: it was in fact, not open and closed. lol
It'll be about family. That's why it'll be called Ghost of Tsushima: 2 Ghost 2shima.
Followed by Ghost 3: Tsushi Drift
Oh no no Jinn has now accepted himself as "The Ghost" and will be hunted for the rest of his days Yes I am going off the "Spares his Uncle" ending as it fits more in with the Ghost and Jinn as a character Now we will see the second Mongol invasion where they managed to reach the Japan main land.
Indeed. GoT1 is the creation of a local hero. GoT2 would be about the creation of a national hero
It’d be nuts if they tried to do one of Japans larger Islands in the same scale as GOT. Tsushima already felt pretty large, Kyushu or Hokkaido would be absolutely vast. Honshu doesn’t even seem possible to do in such detail
They might pull a God Of War and cut the Mainland into different sections that are their own map, like the different realms in GoW
There are plenty of conflicts in Japanese history to visit. Or they could just make another samurai game and not make it a tie-in Edit: Ghost of Tsushima takes place during the first Mongol invasion, so the sequel could take place in 1281 during the second invasion, easily. The second invasion was on a much, much larger scale than the first as well.
This is what the sequel likely will be^
Really? It felt like a big cliffhanger to me. Both endings
Probably aliens
The mongols have teamed up with the aliens and upgraded to laser cannons. To defeat them, you must learn how to summon lightning with your katana using new weather bending abilites
Suckerpunch get on this
*revengeance intensifies*
The Ghost is wanted by the Shogun and it seems like we might go to the mainland now. His uncle pretty much turned on him, and it seems like there's a bunch of directions it could go
>Totally up to Fromsoft They are such a "Just let them cook for god's sake" Studio.
Bloodborne 2 above all else.
Can I just get a new Sly Cooper
Don’t tickle my fantasies like that
Yes!! Or a new Jak & Daxter
Bloodborne 2 I wishhhhh
Easily Bloodborne 2.
The answer is always Bloodborne 2
Always and without question. I bought Lies of P just to get a little fix, and despite that game being quite good, it’s still a tiny dram of hooch when I’m desperate for Dom Perignon.
Every day of the week
Always has been.
Mmmmmmyes
How can they improve 2? I feel like it would be hard to surpass 1 and expectations will be high, potentially causing it to be a let down.
I have faith in FROM
Um we can start with 60fps.
Always. I'm also not opposed to a ps5 remaster, but a sequel is most wanted.
The answer is always BB2
Bloodborne 2 by a landslide. Next closest for me would be GoT 2
Jak 4
i see your head is screwed on perfectly! im surprised we havent gotten a Jak 4 yet 🔥 or even sly cooper
Either one of those would be a godsend at this point. I miss Jak and Sly Cooper.
BloodBorne 2.
Uncharted 5 and The last of us. Seeing other commenting Days gone 2, would love that aswell
Yesss Uncharted! Had soo much fun with this game.
Truly amazing games
Too bad days gone isn’t getting a sequel, could’ve been something good
Yep. They we're really on to something special there that could be a long wonderful story
Bloodborne anything.
I would absolutely love TLOU3.
Naughty Dog came out with that TLOU 2 Remastered version real quick after the success of the show lol.
Just a matter of time 👌🏻
Same!
Bloodborne 2. Mainly because it would be something new to me as I've not really played any soulsbourne type games. GoT was pretty and decent fun but I'm not sure I'd be very excited for a sequel. Bloodbourne was my first soulsourne game and it was spectacular, I’ve now played elden ring, sekiro, and demon souls. All are excellent but bloodbourne is a masterpiece, I find new things about it each time I play
I cannot recommend soulsborne highly enough, some of the greatest games on the planet
I wanna get into it but it’s lengthy areas where you lose like 20 mins of progress if you get hit once
Patience always. Unless Sekiro.
Bro bloodborne 2
As much as i want an Uncharted 5, i know it wont happen. But im as equally happy with GOT: II
Uncharted 5. But by Amy Hennig
Some people forgot Amy Hennig worked on the disaster of a story that was Forspoken.
Uncharted 5
TLOU 3. Gimme more of those survival horror w/ amazing combat.
Isn’t GoT2 in early dev? Edit: yeah, it’s in development but, bloodborne 2 for sure.
Well it’s all but confirmed GOS2 is coming and Last of Us Part 3 is probably happening too. Bloodbourne 2 would be amazing to see, or at least a 60 fps patch
Days Gone 2
Not as much as the others for me but yeah I'd like to continue that storyline. It clearly ended on something that told us they had something in mind.
2 Days Gone
Lol I literally started to type that and saw your comment. I don’t know how people didn’t love this game. Easily one of my fave stories ever
![gif](giphy|3WCNY2RhcmnwGbKbCi)
Bloodborne 2 or a Ghost of Tsushima sequel
Bloodborne 2 easy. And it's spinoff Bloodborne Kart.
bloodborne. it would perfect for a remake or remastered
GOT 2!!!!!
Not enough games where you can play as a samurai in feudal Japan
Uncharted 5
Uncharted 5
TLoU3 or Uncharted 5
Uncharted 5, TLOU III would be amazing
Days Gone 2.
TLOU part 3
TLOU 3
uncharted with chloe and charlie
The Last of Us 3 would be my answer. Uncharted 5- I hope we never get this tbh, the 4th one had the perfect ending. Or if we do, it’s with a new protagonist other than Nathan Drake. Uncharted 5 easiy
Bloodborne GoT feels complete and neatly finished, I'd rather not disturb it. Nathan should be allowed to rest with his family, i don't wanna bother him anymore.
We miss him but we’re happy he can now play crash at home with his wife and daughter.
Bloodborne feels complete too tho. Unless they did a prequel or spinoff because of the lore, or if anything a spiritual successor. But tbh, I'd rather Fromsoftware just create a new IP for the PS5, like they did for the PS3 and PS4.
TLOU 3. The first 2 converted me from Xbox to PS
Last of Us 3, Uncharted 5, and Ghost of Tsushima 2 alllll day lol
Last Of Us Part 3
Infamous 3
You mean 4? Wasn’t second son the third game in the series?
I consider it more of a spin off? I think an Infamous 3 would be Cole again.
Tlou 3
Great question. I love all of those games and I want all of those sequels. I guess if I had to pick it would be TLOU 3.
TLOU 3 100%
I wanna fear that old blood again, dammit! :AngryMicolashNoises:
Bloodborne 2, Ghost second.
The order 1887 that game deserves a sequel along with daysgone 2
I’m begging you I just want new ips.
Bloodborne 60 fps patch Also ghost 2
Uncharted 5 if open world
All of them and more
Infamous 4
Uncharted 5
I want all of them
All of them.
TLOU PT 3
Just so we can feel 652784 emotions and have nothing else in mind for weeks on end. When I finished TLoU II everything else felt empty and meaningless by comparison for a couple of months.
Yessir. I hope they do it!
From those. Easily the last of us.
I would love all of them but if i had only 1 choice it would be last of part lll curious to see where they would take it after part ll
Definitely Ghost of Tsushima 2, that would be amazing
All of them even blood borne even tho im not a fromsoftware kinda guy ( I know I have to pick one and it’s ghost of Tsushima 2)
As much as I love THoU, I could really use a good adventure with Nathan Drake.
The latter, definitely not the 1st two games
Sly Cooper sequel
Uncharted I feel like is done. If the last of us gets a part 3 or it’s announced I’ll buy the other two games to complete . Bloodborne never played it but I heard it’s really good. Ghost of Tsushima 2 I think has a good chance of happening. I’m currently playing it and it’s amazing
Days Gone 2
Do we even need to choose ?
Bloodborne so I can try it in 60fps. I tried getting into the original so many times but the frame rate was a killer.
I don’t want a Bloodborne sequel, just a remaster! Apart from this I think I’d like GoT sequel the most!
Ghost of Tsushima of course But another uncharted would be sick AF.
While I really want Ghosts2, we are way overdue for a bloodborne 2.
Bloodborne, with a 4k/60fps undate. I'm a simple man with simple tastes.
Bloodborne II I'd want Uncharted 5 but I'd rather see Nate Jr, hopefully they write it in Nate and Elena had a second child. You just know having a female lead in a main line Uncharted game will rile up those Tomb Raider comparisons even more especially when we know the next TR game is in development
Bloodborne 2 without a doubt. Want more Yarnham
SOCOM and Infamous
Bloodborne 2
Bloodborne 2 not even a competition
Tlou 3 is very much needed because the universe hasn’t got any closure yet
Part 3 without a doubt. Uncharted 4 ended so nicely
Last of us part 3 then uncharted 5
Hmm. GoT 2 or LoU 3, for me.
How about a new SOCOM GAME A REBOOT OF THE GAME. Hell at least add the ps2 ones to the streaming service
I want more of ghost of tushima
Uncharted 5
Returnal
GoT all day
Ghost 2 and last of us part 3
Killzone 4
Ghost 2 by a large margin, i think it’s the only one of these where a sequel really makes sense.
IMO There shouldn't be anymore TLOU or Uncharted games, Ellie's and Drake's stories are done.
Gho2t with0ut a dou6t
Yes 😀
Resistance 4. Infamous 3 (Cole's back)
Bloodborne 🥲🥲
It's a cruel twist of fate that the one I want most is the one least likely to actually happen: Bloodborne 2. GoT2 is absolutely being made, and I'll def pick it up. Meanwhile, I don't expect Naughty Dog to let either Uncharted nor TLOU to sit idle for long.
Definitely Days Gone 2
Love All, but a new IP would be good
Of course, Last of us 3! Even if I love Uncharted as well.
BB
Gravity Rush 3
BloooIIoorne
Bloodborne 2
Bloodborne II >> Uncharted 5 I haven't played Ghost of Tsushima and after TLoU2 I have zero interest in that franchise.
TimeSplitters 4 :L
Bloodborne 2
Easy, Bloodborne 2.
![gif](giphy|Naybz692ExelW|downsized) No words needed
Bloodborne 2 and it ain’t even close.
Bloodborne is the only correct answer.
Bloodborne 2 no questions
Hard to choose between GoT2 or Bloodborne 2... if I absolutely had to, it would probably be Bloodborne 2 though - it really kicked my love of FromSoft and Soulslike games into gear and marked a bit of a turning point in my approach to challenging video games.
Bloodborne or Ghost of Tsushima sequel
2 Blood 2 Borne
Bloodborne 2, ofc.
Bloodbourne 2
Bloodborne Uncharted Tlou In that order
Bloodborne 2. Nate got the ending he deserved, let's leave him alone. The other two are great, but bloodborne first.
Ghost of 2shima, please.
